....Better. So I freeze, you boil, then we both drop an Inferno on her?
I'll get the weenies and marshmallows.

Not just that but the Inquisitor's job is closing the Veil and restoring order and stability to the realm.
So it's likely we'll be forced into difficult choices between two evils to accomplish this just like the Warden was.
There is pain in the order I bring. Such is the intensity of the Maker's light that some will wither and burn.
I don't recall Bioware ever said anything about the Maker's existance (expecially in the way the Chantry describes it).
Gaider and The Devs have repeatedly stated, that they will neither confirm or deny the existance of any Diety within DA.
So there is as much chance for the Maker existing as him not existing ![]()

I don't know. Demons never lie, and at least two of them have said "There is no maker."

One of the demons in the orphanage said "There is no Maker" and another said "Your Maker is nothing compared to my glory." How could they both be correct?

Demons never lie? Then what of the two pretending to be people close to Feynriel in order to possess him?

Actors! It was a friendly attempt to gain access to his juicy tasty soul!
And the entire Fade portion of the Magi Tower. ~_^

Like the fella in Monty Python who was acting as if his arm had not been severed...when it clearly had been >_>

Exactly. They pretend to be something or someone they are not aka they are lying.

What? We just had a demon in this very book going "If you break those runes, it will kill me.
Wait, actually I was lying. It will free me."
Demons lie. A lot.
Remember Mouse? The very first demon of the very first Mage playthrough of the very first Dragon Age game?
What was the very first thing this demon did? Tell the PC he was a mage apprentice.
Seriously, demons lie.
Demons are creatures of ego and deceit.

I wouldn't mind seeing Mouse again, actually. I had always wondered if he was the one to possess Uldred...

Mouse as villain for Inquisition!
Plot twist, Mouse is actually Rat.
Exactly. They pretend to be something or someone they are not aka they are lying.
Lies and slander spread by jealous opponents of our glorious demon masters!
Totally not possessed by the way...
Of course. My post was just a joke made with a qunari perspective. I wasn't saying I believe the Maker doesn't exist.Gaider and The Devs have repeatedly stated, that they will neither confirm or deny the existance of any Diety within DA.

Zero chance, however, of the Maker ever mattering. So he's functionally nonexistent.
The Maker as an actor may not matter. But people believe in Him, so the Maker will always matter.

Belief in the Maker may matter. The Chantry may matter. But the Maker himself? Wholly impotent or wholly uninterested... or just plain nonexistent. Either way, wholly irrelevant.

As are all gods in DA.
Truly? The Old Gods and Creators may well be more... accessible.
