Why can't we all just get along?
I just want you all to be hugged. Tightly.

No need. Just go to Orzammar.
Nah, too much trouble. Just shatter them.
Willingly letting anyone become a broodmother is a monsterous thing and you should feel bad.
Um, blood magic and Cerberus are capable of good and ill, but they tend to do more ill than good. What does that have to do with the Dalish?
Destroying the future of a civilization is worse.
And my point is that being unable to ally with Cerberus is a poor analogy to being unable to ally with the Dalish.
And I will be sitting here, grinning from ear to ear when you find out that you can't
Eh. We've never had to screw over the Dalish before, I don't expect that to change.
Nah, too much trouble. Just shatter them.
I'm talking about how to dispose of the shards so they can't be rebuilt.
Holy ****!
What if the elves caused the Veil tears?
its possible, and they'll pay for it if they did
Holy ****!
What if the elves caused the Veil tears?
I think the antagonist could have manipulated the Dalish into using the eluvians, resulting in the Veil splitting. It's certainly a possibility.
Holy ****!
What if the elves caused the Veil tears?
Then I'll need to alter the Inquisition's remit some, perhaps.
Nope, not at the expense of letting them having that much power over the world. Looks like I'm gonna be calling on Morrigan to help me counteract the Dalish.
People are making this as if it's about elves vs humans.
It's not, it's about this breaking the bleeding setting. If they work like this, the Eluvians break the franchise, period.
There is, literally, no way to defend against it; whoever holds it, wins. Period.
The elves don't need the Inquisition; the Inquisitor couldn't do a damn thing to them,
Fighting our way to the Archdemon? No need, let's just step into this Eluvian.
We need to infiltrate a party, sneak into the castle, evade an army of Chevaliers and retrive the Heart of Many. Or we can just step through this Eluvian.
Finding Branca? You guessed it, just step through the Eluvian.
It's ridiculous.
I'm talking about how to dispose of the shards so they can't be rebuilt.
Oh, good point.
its possible, and they'll pay for it if they did
Heads, spikes, walls
and a musical score to accompany it
Destroying the future of a civilization is worse.
So you give the Darkspawn another Broodmother to help them in their goal to destroy all civilization?
Then I'll need to alter the Inquisition's remit some, perhaps.
you would asist them if they wished to open the sky to unimaginable horrors?

Funny you should say that; weren't you against the punishment of the Asari for their democratically elected leaders (the entire race gets to vote) for violating laws they put into place themselves, almost destroying the future of 7+ civilizations?
I was talking about Cerberus being like blood magic. :/

That's assuming there is NO downside, which I do believe there will be. But they are probably going to save that for the main game itself.
So you give the Darkspawn another Broodmother to help them in their goal to destroy all civilization?
Statistically speaking, it wouldn't be that significant. But I seriously doubt that'd be the only way to kill her anyway.
So you give the Darkspawn another Broodmother to help them in their goal to destroy all civilization?
I actually laughed at that.
Well done Hana.

Yes.

That's different from "lets give them a homeland, and teach them how to use their ancient magic and tech"
We had the first option in DA:O and the devs decided that they didn't like it enough to keep it in
Oh, good point.
Yeah. Even if the shards are immune to magma, we know the elves aren't so they'll forever be out of reach beneath a river of molten rock.

I

Jedi Master posted something that stated he became a disciple of Andraste.
The codex entries on Shartan read how he joined Andraste's fight against the Imperium; Dark Moon, the Dales, Glandivalis, and the Canticle of Shartan don't read that Shartan converted. I'm not sure that the Chantry written entry about Shartan being a "devotee" of Andraste clarifies matters, either. Given how the elves established the Dales and resumed the faith of their elven pantheon, I don't see why they would have needed to convert to the human religion.

That only applies to the mage boon, and even that was carried over, even if it wasn't perfectly implemented. There's no reason the Dalish boon wouldn't also be carried over, even if some unspecified bad thing happened in Ferelden.
Holy ****!
What if the elves caused the Veil tears?
I find it far more likely it was caused by Morrigan returning to this dimension through an Eluvian,
Yes.
O_O
