Now, I'm waiting the confirmation that cullen might be a companion, so I can scream to everyone how glorious I am, How I was so right.

well of course character development is important, I hope he still has the back bone he got at the end of DA2 and didn't turn back into his submissive self. I want to see him not taking crap from anyone or anything.  I just hope to not have to murder knife him at one point or another, would hate to see him become the next Meredith or the next lord seeker (from asunder forgot his name).  

I am almost 100% sure if he didn't have SOME character development he wouldn't be in the game at all. =oP

What's the massive attraction? To me, he's just another templar who made the right decision to side with Hawke against his blatantly insane Knight-Commander. He's got decent eyes I guess but he's a cartoon FFS. Usually fan-crazy crushes like this develop over a character's personality, not looks. Thinking of Tali, Garrus, Varric... etc.

I actually liked him in DAO more. How is that not backbone? He's the one Templar left ready to put everyone down.

 

I thought his change was a bit odd in DA2. He became the moderate, but I never found out why.

I'd say that maybe after associating with extremists like Alrik Karras and Meredith,he realized that their views are far from ideal,or what he considers ideal at least..

Yeah, I'm pretty confused too. But if he's got a lot of fans, so be it. Hopefully, this content is going to be optional.

I hope it is optional too which is why I hope he is a companion instead of an adviser. At least if he is a companion I can more easily avoid him and I could even not hire him. I just fear that I may not be able to simply not hire a particular adviser as the inquisitor. It would be even better if I could as the inquisitor simply "discard" any adviser. As the leader who should have all the control in how we want to lead the inquisition.

Well they didn't change his voice actor like they did with Anders, so that's already a good sign to me.

I like her hairstyle, that's incredibly pratical and hot at the same time.

 

As for Cullen, he's one of the few templars I like and I respect with Gregoire. And I would like the templar's point of view in my team, and not only the mage's point of view, so I can decide what is best to think, what is best to do.

It's one of my favorites, it's from The Witcher 2. I literally almost only use those 2 hairstyles.

I think I just heard everyone that hated Cullen pop a gasket collectively today.  Waiting for the inevitable reaction of, "Oh, you guys are just getting your hopes up again for nothing lol.  David just put it in for fanservice (seriously, you know that's coming.) Not confirmed, why do you want Cullen in your group?"

 

Since I will take this as a tentative confirmation, I'm really hoping that he's the (overall) more level headed guy I met as as mage Hawke in DA2.  I've never been a huge fan, nor hoping for his return, but I've always liked the guy quite a bit.  He's alright by me, so I'm glad it seems like the fans are going to get Cullen into the game.  I got Varric, so I've been content for awhile.

Hmm, I wonder if it's confirmed that he'll be a companion or if it's just that he'll be in the game?  With the "saying sexy things into a microphone "tweet, it looks like a safe bet that he's not only in the game, but a LI as well.

That's why I used the phrase "tentatively confirmed."  I was leaving some room for doubt.

Unfortunately, that dashes my hopes that Evangelne would be the Templar companion.

That's literally the only reason I play on PC, though I haven't even completed a play-through. Too much work lmfao.

 

All I can imagine is Greg Ellis making kissing noises to the mic and it's the funniest thing, it reminds me of the Anders kiss loooool
