Not unless Bioware get serious about it, both the Dragon Age movie and the Mass Effect movie were terrible.

... and when something has been in Development Hell that long, what are its chances, really?

I mean, it only recently got announced in 2014 .. 3 years isn't that long. Look at Avatar, which surpassed that time, and how long the development took on that, and it still came through.

If not Glenn, then I would cast Helen Mirren.

Ugh I think about DA (and ME) movies all the timeeeee.... I would love to be IN one (with my nonexistent acting abilities).
I agree they'd have more chance at success if they had their own separate storylines, though.

Are we talking about the same ME movie? Avi Arad is developing it?
Here's the wiki page. It's on its second scriptwriter and its second studio and they have been working on it since 2010. And they are now saying 2018/19.
I'd love to see it succeed, but it's got clusterfracas written all over it.

I can see Dragon Age as a animated series. Not so much a film. That way you have all the time you want to flesh all the characters out.

She was in Dawn of the Seeker? I thought that was Beatrix?
I actually kinda forgot how old she was supposed to be, Asunder just made her sound all uber young so I was picturing Padme. Lol.

I thought so too but every time I google her, that picture shows up so I assumed she was. I'm probably wrong tbh lol
BUT! She was still up there in age in Leliana's Song
I think she was just a lot younger than Beatrix.
I just looked it up and I'm still seeing it as Justinia in DotS

I actually liked that mini series and I can maybe see it be more like a campy sci fi series. Think xena, Hercules, merlin, etc.
The writting and characters and location are there and don't really need a big budget. I'd l8fe for origins to be made into a miniseries. Though DA2 is alot more streamlined and focused on less locations.

right but what I'm saying is you're comparing an independent animation to a warner bros film that hasn't be released yet

Thank you!
On a 'dragon age movie' website it had said "In Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker, fans will get to see Justinia V in all her divine glory." so that's what confused me.
