Hmm... in no particular order..
1. Helping Aveline... um... 'woo' Donnic. Considering how bleak most of the quests are, that one feels like a breath of fresh air.
2. Seeing Zevran again.
3. Earning the Arishok's respect.
4. Carver coming back to fight alongside Hawke at the end. I'll be the first to say the guy infuriates me, but that one scene really worked in his favour.
5. Every time Sarcastic Hawke opens their mouth, although my personal favourite has to be '"I have an excellent sense of dramatic timing. And good hair."
Invoking the Right of Annulment and storming the Circle Tower
Arishok declaring that he'll take over the city
My favorite moment has to be femHawke talking to herself
-Almost all of sarcastic/humourous/witty female Hawke's dialogue (whoever wrote the humourous dialogue should get an award)
-When Isabela comes back because her conscience got the better of her
-Helping Aveline "woo" Donnic
-When Bethany returns and fights beside her sister/brother again
-When Hawke's mother goes missing.............. (I wasn't expecting it at all, and I was floored by the whole thing)
I can sum up my favorite scene in three words "Hawke said sarcastically".
In no particular order:
1. Pretty much every witty Hawke line, although the one starting with "The Wounded Coast?" cracks me up every time.
2. Doing Legacy in Act 3, finally getting Carver out of rival territory and then seeing Leandra make one final appearance. (Result = I now headcanon that Fenris shows up after that, like he does after All That Remains if you romance him. Though it helps that I often bring him along for Legacy, so he gets to see and hear Hawke's family history stuff firsthand.)
3. ...Okay, pretty much everything Fenris/Hawke.
4. Varric. I hate the dwarf redesign in DA2, but I love Varric's personality.
5. The Long Road. Three goats and a sheaf of wheat indeed XDDDD
6. Fenris convincing the Arishok to duel Hawke if Isabela doesn't return at the end of Act 2. Especially a female mage!Hawke.

Hawke and Aveline's discussion about Aveline's father after Hawke's mom dies and the option to dedicate a drink to their memories. It''s a small scene but i thought it was really sweet.
I think Aveline is my real best friend (be it friend or rival) in this game. It kind of disappoints me that Varric is practically canonized that way (even though I like him), because her moments like above were more friend-like to me. I love every cutscene with her really.

I feel the exact same way. When i first started the game i didn't think i was going to like her and by the end of the game she was my Hawke's best friend and is still my favorite companion in the franchise.
I like Aveline. I would say she's my 2nd favorite character in the game behind Meredith
I loved Aveline's personal quest in act 2. She's like the big sister I never had.
I also really like the conversation after Leandra's death. Usually I time her personal quest after that since I need a little 'pick me up' after the heavy drama of losing Mama Hawke.

Yeah, maybe that's it. I never had a big sister.
I usually get Aveline's dialogue after Leandra, but this recent playthrough Hawke romanced Anders.. which was kind of interesting too.. when you get the option to blame mages (and yourself, if you're a mage). I love how reactive Anders' romance is to class in general.. although the romance itself is a bit cringeworthy at times.

I'll have to try that next time. That's a great idea.

I'm a Fenrismancer myself, but I know what you mean. I WAS the big sister (technically still am, but my little sister is an anesthesiology resident now) and Aveline is just so protective of Hawke. And after something like that... Hawke's gonna need a shoulder to cry on. (Or two, if your LI shows up.)
Fenris' dialogue after All That Remains is just so touching. He admits he doesn't know what to say, but sometimes what matters in a situation like that is not what the person says but the fact that they cared enough to check on you in the first place.

I hate to admit it, but I'm more like Carver to Hawke with my brother.

My sister's the same way with me. I think that's one reason I usually play a mage Hawke - the dynamic just feels so familiar.
Would like to add that one

That line is just great, my favorite part of the chant. And it fits perfectly, all things considered.

It's ironic if anything. She's off her rocker.
Just finished this actually (again). I'd side with the Templars if they didn't screw up the mage class becoming Viscount. That's a big flaw.
Meredith to the rescue

It's all great. But i still can't get over the crazy jump she does after this!
Should have specified. While I like that Aveline is the one who shows up on an unromanced Hawke to comfort her in her room, I meant the followup conversation Aveline and Hawke have after Leandra's death in Aveline's office, where they drink to the memory of their parents. It speaks to the loss in all of us of someone close and always brings me to tears. Making me tear up as I type this, dammit Bioware.
DA2 may have some flaws, but I still enjoyed Bioware's writing immensely on the game. They had some really good moments.
