I hate that they did that. I loved Anders non abomantion. My Amell would so kill him on sight if she got wif he was around. She's anti blood Mage, abomantion and everything else that is a problmantic towards innocents people. Heck; yeah she'd kill him herself. And my Quiz would approve of it. My Hawke? Not so much. He's dead, so he doesn't get a say in it.

Personal headcanon has my Warden joining Zev in Kirkwall (though officially he's overseeing the Wardens' investigation into what Hawke found in the Deep Roads) and winding up involved in the mage/templar conflict.  I suspect he may have helped kill Anders.

Lol. My Warden was disguised as one of the Wardens in Alistair's party when he gave away her necklace. She never forgave him for just giving away her amulet to a stranger. She came back to Kirkwall though in a different diguise (a Mage from the Kinloch Hold who's traveling to Kirkwall, alongside her Mage friend, Fynn. They came together to prevent supicous to themselves and it's unlikely Cullen would've regonised them as well.) I also have a feeling she felt like shooting Anders through the head with an arrow; she also helped killed him as well through studle means....

For me, it would have to be these (in no particular order):

Aveline's The Long Road quest. Everything about it was absolutely hilarious, especially with Isabela there. Aveline was just so bad at wooing Donnic. My first Hawke flirted with Aveline every chance I got. He looked so cut at the end when Aveline wouldn't give him the time of day, despite him being significantly more interested in her than Donnic - Hawke's expression was priceless at the end.

When Merrill goes to the Hawke Estate for her kissing scene. I love the way that scene was choreographed. Merrill turning her head away conflicted, then Hawke grabbing her chin gently, and turning her head back to face them. Male Hawke's VA did the line "Merrill." so very well, and the female voice in comparison was terrible - and I'm totally unbiased between the two voices. The female version sounds like Hawke was asking Merrill a question, rather than firmly trying to get her to face Hawke in a, "don't be silly, I know you want this as much as I do" kind of way. The way the male voice does it fits in with the assertive action of physically grabbing her chin, which could be seen as crossing a line, especially since Merrill was showing signs unwillingness.

"Hanged Man." "Even I know that." The scene where Seneschal Bran pretends not to know about the Hanged Man, was just hilarious. Definitely Sebastian's funniest line in the whole game:

Bran: "But where you'd find swordsmen so eager to sell their honour for gold, I'm sure I have no idea."

Anders: "The Hanged Man."

Fenris: "Hanged Man."

Sebastian: "Even I know that."

Hawke is turned on by crazy. If you romance Anders, Varric starts a conversation in Act 2 or 3 where he expresses concern. He says that Anders is crazy, and my sarcastic female Hawke had a hilarious response:

Hawke: "In all the time you've known me Varric, when have I ever given you the impression I was turned off by crazy?"

Varric: "Hmph. Good point."

It was particularly funny for me because she tried to sleep with Isabela, Merrill AND Fenris, in addition to Anders (she only failed with Fenris). She hit on everyone she could possibly flirt with in the game, so I thought it was a very fitting response.

Aggressive Hawke stabs Javaris in the back. In the last scene you have with Javaris, you can stab him when his back is turned. This one is very hard to describe in words, you really need to see what happened. My aggressive Hawke's head took up much of the screen when she turned her head a little bit in Fenris' direction, as if she knew what his reaction would be. Without words he shook his head, and I'm not entirely sure why he did it, but to me he was either thinking "What you did was awful, Hawke," or "Tsk, tsk. What a foolish and rude dwarf." It was just a satisfying scene involving aggressive Hawke and the rival Fenris romance, even if it was a bit confusing.

Raiders on the Cliffs. That whole side quest was really good, especially with Izzy and Aveline, but my favourite part of it was what aggressive Hawke says when they try to get the city guard to fight with Hawke's party:

"Anyone who leaves, is a deserter. And we all know what happens to deserters..."

I loved how menacing Hawke is there. Unfortunately for me, the audio gets cut off half way through. =(

Oh god, I concur. I love Merrill with femHawke - the one time I romanced her with a dude was on accident  - but Boulton absolutely nailed that line. Err, word. Name.

The way he practically breathes it out... he sounds so fond and affectionate, it makes my heart do squeezy things.

Snarky Hawke has the same line for a Fenris romance, but you're right, it is funny.

I know... Sighs. Fenris has A BETTER ROMANCE THEN ANDERS! And Snarky Hawke is too awesome. I love snarky Hawke!

Not romance, but snarky Hawke:

CARVER: Maybe i should join the Qun. They're warriors. They respect strengt, determination. They have no family ties.

HAWKE: And they kill you, if you whine. You'd hate it.

CARVER:  Ha. Got you.

Brilliant :)

Ha! I love him so much. I've only ever seen it on YouTube because I've never sided with the Templars (), but I love what he says when he comes back as a Grey Warden and finds you've sided with Meredith,

Carver: I expected to find my brother/sister under attack from the Templars… but you're helping them. Tell me this is a joke! You can't be siding with that ****** against your own people!

CARVER, HONEY

 I could never do that. He usually ends up a Warden in my games, unless he suffers death-by-ogre.

Carver more fun (for me) than Bethany. Bethany boring: everybody likes her.

And i prefer mage char.

I like them both. Boring can be a welcome thing, considering the drama and insanity of the rest of the game.

I don't even understand that. They said he was going to Orlais in DA2. This would have been the best time to see him.

I just hope they haven't forgot about him....he's the ray of sunlight,I've always felt happier whenever I saw him. They really need to bring Sandal back, along with his father Bodahn.

Oohh, thought of another one. That moment when Bartrand betrays you. It takes a second for reality to set in... and then Varric gets pissed.

I don't know if I've ever been more attracted to that dwarf.

I haven't finished my first playthrough yet but here are some that stick out from the first two acts:

1)  Varric's revenge fantasy -- when you hunt down Bartran after returning from the Deep Roads, you suddenly find yourself playing as Varric by himself annihilating Bartran's henchmen until only a groveling Bartran is left.  Then Cassandra forces Varric to spit out the truth.

2) The serial killer quest suddenly becoming personal when Hawke's mother disappears....and finding what happened to her!

3) In the quest where you take out the sadistical Ser Alric, the mage who was about to be made tranquill is frightened when she sees Anders in Justice mode....and he kills her!  (Dependent on dialog selection)  This scene taught me how severe Anders problems really were.

4) Merrill turning on Hawke in the Fade when you try to rescue Feynriel.  This scene illustrated the relationship between blood mages and demons and how even the most level-headed blood mage can be overwhelmed by the demons he/she plays with.

Not to nitpick, but you said "from the first two acts." All 4 of those moments that stuck out to you happen in Act 2.

Hugging Bethany during the "goodbyes" before the final boss fight. Or was that my imagination? Hmm...

Varric's Scarface moment springs to mind. Er, that's not canon either.

I like the heavy tension moments in the game, like when Hawke and Aveline confront the Arishok, or when there's talk of electing a viscount.

Also, "Let. Go. Of. My. Brother[/Sister]!"

MotA, Merrill says something about having a pet wyvern and Carver gets all doe-eyed.

Carver: You could tame it... tame its wild heart..!
Hawke: *busts out laughing*
Carver: Shut it, you!!
