New to me, though perhaps not to others. I found an insta-death area on Menae.

When talking with Victus on Earth, he will have some different lines of dialogue based on what happened during the game.
This video has Victus saying Wrex kept his end of the bargain. I guess it would be the same if Wreav is in charge
If you don't talk to Victus about his son during the game, his son will be mentioned
If the bomb is set off, Victus will mention that Wreav/Wrex didn't send enough. He will say the same if Eve is dead and the bomb mission was completed
If the genophage is sabotaged with Wrex in charge, Victus will be angry. He mentions that Wrex just quit and left taking his troops with him or something simiiar

There are some staggeringly poor textures and models on Horizon:

"Level design? Yes, yes, Ill get on to it."

Do you spend all your time looking for pixels that are one micron off?

But when I said that from my Renegade Shepard, Javik commenta that he can't tell if I'm lying or not.

It's not a pixel that is one micron off, it's a really low quality texture slapped on an asset. It wouldn't look out of place from 1996.
The same thing happens on a lot of clothing, weapons etc - for a supposed AAA game it's remarkably bad quality.
Symptomatic of a really crappy port (something they are addressing with Inquisition I note).

Okay heres something. Kinda. Sorta. Newish to me, anyway. I didn't JUST discover it but it was something I found out only during my last playthrough of ME2. Though it isn't much of a discovery since it isn't hidden. The krogan speaker during Mordin's Loyalty mission? Out of all my multiple playthroughs I had never actually NOT used the renegade prompt to shoot the gas tank under his feet. Turns out he has quite a bit of a rant to say. His comment about eating salarain eggs was pretty brutal, I liked Mordin's reaction. Also the renegade prompt remains on the screen for a fairly long time so you can still listen to nearly the entire speech without missing your chance to blow him up. I had always hit it as soon as I saw it, afraid that if I waited too long I'd lose the opportunity. For now on I'll listen to him up to till the egg part and use that as my queue to trigger the explosion.

It's tempting, TBH... It stays there and stays and stays, Lmao... It's like the Renegade Interrupt in Omega DLC...

I just noticed that the codex on Reaper Vulnerabilities states that "Current Reapers do not seem to suffer from [the] design flaw" that Sovereign did when it took over Saren and had its shields overload when Saren was killed.
So much for my plan to defeat the Reapers by scattering about Turian corpses and then killing them after a Reaper took them over. ![]()

Just picked a Small Error in Mass Effect: Conviction (PS: I know it's isn't from the game, but it relates to ME2 Arrival DLC). It actually states that you completed the Arrival DLC...
A batarian Newcast on Omega is saying: "--While the Citadel Council scrambles to denounce the so-called terrorists acts allegedly carried out by Commander Shepard, Batarian Officials are demanding Retribution"
So, Shepard actually did do the Arrival DLC and we never lost the 103rd Marine Company...
Edit: Also, Batarians said "you're a Shepard Lover, Human" and the NewCast also said that "Batarians are demanding Shepard's Head"

Having just done Desponia three times in a row,
I found out the datapads you read will present the same sequence of the "story" no matter which order you select the datapads. In otherwords, the content of the datapads is independent of their location.

It works the same way in Bring Down the Sky. No matter which sequence of buildings you enter, you get the same sequence of interiors and dialogues, with the only exception being that Simon will not mention the blasting caps if that is the building you go into first.

Makes a little more sense... If that's the right term... in BDtS though. Lore datapads on a Despoina shipwreck are maybe not something a lot of people would notice. Personally, I stopped paying attention to those datapads after the first play through; click 'em for the experience and get to the husk/cannibal/marauder/brute killing. It works the same way in Bring Down the Sky. Such are the advantages of recording a playthrough for public consumption. Makes you pay more attention to stuff so that it gets included.

This always puzzled me to be honest because how do they know?
Sovereign we know about and it hurt him but the only other example of direct possession would be Harbinger, and as far as I know we have no idea what affect killing the possessed Collector would have had.

In my first and second run of Leviathan DLC, I thought I needed to activate all the Datapads for the stroy to go forward (It actually did when I got all datapads), but in my third run, I just got to a specific spot and there was the Reaper.

I'm currently doing a playthrough to collect all war assets and noticed, not that I haven't before, that for the Thannix cannon upgrade, its only worth 15 war assets whereas the armor and shield upgrades are worth 25 each. I wonder why.

The Reapers have better shields than the Collectors?
