As soon as you land on Asteroid X-57 (BDtS)  chuck a U-turn and you find a shack with one of the Engineers bodies. . Next to it is an Omni-tool pickup. You can get either, a Logic Arrest which aren't too bad, or a Nexus which has the better cooldown bonus.

If you get the Logic Arrest and want the Nexus, quit the game completely then hit resume and you'll get a Nexus.

I would recommend going to that little outpost you mention first, then head up the west side of the map to get another omni-tool, and then finally up to the northwest corner to get yet one more omni-tool. This circuit will net you three decent omni-tools before you have to fight anyone. Indeed, you can land on the asteroid, pick up these three omni-tools and then take off again if you wish.

Arrival, outside getting to the Comm tower. There is a short while during which debris (looks like some rocks) "fall" down at an angle hitting the ground in a bit of smoke/dust cloud. It can actually hit any character, including Shepard, doing a tiny amount of damage.

It's really neat that they did this as you are flying through the asteroid area, then closer to the relay where you have no more rocky stuff - no more debris will come.

I knew about the debris, but only discovered that it can do damage too. As I got outside I was targeting a soldier when his shields suddenly dropped a bit before I started shooting. Wondered what the hell happened to him. Only then did I really take notice of the incoming debris.

Played Virmire and noticed a school/shoal of fish I hadn't seen before (or just probably hadn't noticed) .

After the first gatehouse when you land (the one without an actual gate) you come across a Colossus and then two pairs of smaller Armatures. Just to the right of the left hand pair is a tiny 'beach'  with a school of fish right up against the waterline.  There's about two or three dozen and although they're just basically shadows, or simple shapes I thought it's a nice little touch.

I also heard a couple of small convo's I don't remember hearing.

While in the lift going down from the Normandy dock I had Kaidan and Liara with me and heard something like this -

Liara - "I understand your Amp gives you serious headaches lieutenant. I could show you some meditation techniques that might help."

Kaidan - "I'd really appreciate that, Liara.  It does make me wonder how things might've been if we'd had Asari tutors instead of Turians."

Liara - "Given your young males attitude to my species, it's just as well they were Turian."

I usually have the chat with Ash. about her celebrating Armistice Day and her grandfather, long before Virmire.  But this time for some reason I forgot to talk with until after and heard this small line -

After the chat she says "I better get back to my duties and I'm sure Kirrahe would like to debrief you".  Something like that  I'd never heard her recognise Kirrahe (on the Normandy) before.

Wow, I never heard that one. Cool.

Why am I not surprised. Liara places (doesn't place) Shepard's name onto the memorial wall in "no romance" playthrough. She went to 4 missions with my Shepard - Mars + Palaven, Eden Prime, Thessia. Garrus, James and Tali - why don't you do it?!

If Shepard has no romance, the character he/she talked with the most puts up the nameplate and not how many missions that character went on with Shepard. In the case of Miranda and Jack not available on the Normandy, it will be the character that Shepard talked with the most

James, Joker and Javik will never put up the nameplate

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I talked with everyone equally. Might be that though, some minuscule amount of dialogue.

I tested it a couple of times, and both times I had Samantha put up the nameplate. I knew she never got any scenes on the Citadel, so I avoided talking with anyone except on the ship. Its possible that talking with those characters that are on the Citadel would make a difference

How many scenes does Sam have if you don't romance her? I got, like 2-3. Every squadmate had more. And I talked with everyone on the ship, actually talked with Garrus twice on the Citadel and only once with Liara. Does Zaeed style dialogue count?

It not the scenes, its the dialogue. Samantha, will have dialogue after most missions if the player chooses to activate her. After the coup ths squadmates don't have as much as before the coup. Also the Leviathan dlc gives the squadmates extra dialogue, which Samantha never got any, so that might make a difference if the dlc is played.

I did talk to her after every mission :| I basically toured the ship after every mission talking to everyone. I supported Liara in her argument with Joker, can it be that? I'm quite sure I talked to Garrus the most.

As I said, the squadmates have less dialogue after the coup. If you did talk to the characters on the Citadel then that makes a difference. All I know is when I romanced Miranda, I had Traynor with the nameplate and the couple of times I didn't romance anyone, Traynor held the nameplate

OK, I'll pay attention to that when I get to ME3 ;) Thanks for the help!

For anyone on PC you can use Gibbed to check your friendship scores with squadmates. Unfortunately I don't have one yet for Samantha.

They come in two integers for each squadmate. I don't know what the difference is between the two. The numbers go up as you talk to squadmates, but not after all encounters (might also be only a prologue thing where the numbers didn't go up on Pro Earth/Mars/Citadel. Started incrementing after getting back to the Normandy again). But I haven't tested them that much yet.

Do the numbers include the time talking with those characters on the Citadel?

I don't know any specifics at the moment. I haven't really kept track that much.

From my more recent playthroughs I have numbers in the 10-30 area for characters I talked to quite a bit all over in the game. Those that I mostly ignored are in the 0-3 area. In some playthroughs the B values tend to be higher than A, and vice versa. No idea why.

Have to start keeping an eye on the counters, and see if I can get any ideas.

Hmm. I wonder if non-dialogue wheel interactions impact the "friendship" score? Ever since I got From Ashes Javik is always the third squad mate to come out of the Normandy, even when I did a Control ending. Could that be because Javik has so much more non-dialogue wheel dialogue than other characters?

Just found Sidon in-game. ( The Planet that most of the Mass Effect: Revelation events occur)

I went touring Elysium's System, and it's right there. The white planet in the top. And According to the Description, Someone Captured Blue Suns Mercs that were involved in that operation and heard that there was a Base there.

Camala (where the latter half of the book takes place) is also present in the game in Batarian space.

I'm not sure but that happens to me as well.

Also I noticed one play through of Citadel DLC, when you gain control of Shep (after the sushi bar)  I've had it vary who contacts you first and asks if you are alright and that "they're on the way". One run I hadn't talked to anyone and I had forgotten to lock in the romance  with Liara, and it was EDI who contacted me.

So I'm not sure how it works when talking to crew mates the 'most'. Or not.

I've always assumed it was your romance that came to you. If no romance is had then the person you talked too most.

Tali was always the one to come to my rescue. Lol.

That's how it works for me. As much as I can remember at least. Romance comes to save, or default Liara, and dialogue seems to follow romance / most talked.

As far as Citadel goes, it is the crew mate you use the most on missions unless that crew mate is your LI that contacts you second. Except Javik will not contact you if you used him the most. Instead it will be EDI. Generally, of the three I have heard, EDI, Garrus, James, I find EDI's dialogue to be the funniest.
