Hmm. I wonder if non-dialogue wheel interactions impact the "friendship" score? Ever since I got From Ashes Javik is always the third squad mate to come out of the Normandy, even when I did a Control ending. Could that be because Javik has so much more non-dialogue wheel dialogue than other characters?

The third character that comes out of the Normandy will be the one that is used most on missions. Its the same for the character that tells Joker to leave when the crucible is activated.

That's not how it has worked for me. I generally use Liara the most (at least when I play a Sentinel) yet even when I romance Traynor, Javik is the third guy out the door. Before From Ashes it used to be Ashley that came out the door third and at that time I almost never used her on missions. But she does have a goodly number of dialogues: 3 times in the hospital, twice on the Citadel after the Coup, and once on the Normandy during her drunk scene.

int 10312 is set to 12      (Liara)
int 10315 is set to 11      (Garrus)
int 10316 is set to 5        (EDI)
int 10317 is set to 15      (Javik)
int 10318 is set to 0        (Tali)
int 10319 is set to 0        (James)
 
int 10328 is set to 4        (Liara)
int 10331 is set to 20      (Garrus)
int 10332 is set to 0        (EDI)
int 10333 is set to 0        (Javik)
int 10335 is set to 6        (Tali)
int 10336 is set to 10      (James)

 

No idea what that means :|

I got Garrus and James in my last playthrough and they were the ones who went to the most missions. No romance

It does for me. I have my playthroughs set up that way. I use a squadmate just enough times to have that character tell Joker to leave, unless its a specific playthrough and my third one to come out the Normandy is either James or Ashley. A lot of the time its James since I use him a few more times than Ashley because she isn't available till after the coup. I have found out a few times that when two characters have been used the same amount of times, that talking with them plays a role

 

The same happens with the squadmate you talk with during the evac scene.

One of those could be a mission counter, the other might be a dialogue referent, either number of times spoken to, or the total of renegade (negative) and paragon (positive) responses during dialogue.

Both were 0, Kaidan was Virmired and Ash was sent to Hackett :P

One of those could be a mission counter, the other might be a dialogue referent, either number of times spoken to, or the total of renegade (negative) and paragon (positive) responses during dialogue.

But neither has Liara with top number. I guess Javik simply doesn't care about putting Shepard's name on the wall and it falls to Liara :D

That means, the first determines the memorial wall scene, the second - squadmates exiting Normandy (one with the highest number stands next to Joker)

Knowing that you are an engineer and that by your own testimony you don't use LIara, I would say the second set of numbers is a mission counter.

To count the missions I've taken Liara on - Mars, Palaven, Eden Prime, Thessia :)

I will stick with that its the amount of talking to character that determines who puts up the nameplate. If everyone is talked with including the times on the Citadel, the advantage goes to them since Samantha has no scenes on the Citadel.

After obliterating the Three Primes on Rannoch, I laser-targeted the Reaper signal that turned out to be a Reaper. For curiosity's sake I decided to see what happens if you do not run to the hovercraft but just stay and look at the Reaper.

 

It lasers you to death.

Doing a little bit of quick research. This is for talking to Liara after Thessia.

There is a condition that will either use the friendship score, or romance:

 

The friendship scores (A + B ) >= 8 , or romancing has to be True.

Should make Shepard say: "Liara, you had nothing to do with the attack on Thessia.".

 

Otherwise Shepard should say: "Liara, your work was important. We can't beat the Reapers without the Catalyst."

 

Seems that the condition is meant for Liara and Shepard who are either "good enough" friends, or if you romance her then you are already friendly enough to get it.

 

Now this may be missing a few variables, but it gives a bit on an insight to how the scores are used.

Yep, I would add this to my list of "Sreenshot Deaths"  Shepard is a crazy tourist who likes to take photographs everywhere, and then ends up getting killed for wasting time :lol:

On my last playthrough I stopped for a moment to look at the Reaper (when it crawled out), and then just casually walked to the hovercraft and did not get fried.

On my last playthrough I stopped for a moment to look at the Reaper (when it crawled out), and then just casually walked to the hovercraft and did not get fried.

It happened to me. All I did was stand still looking at the reaper climbing out and then a critical mission failure screen came up. It happened after about 30 seconds

The following dialogue was new to me since this is the first playthrough where I discouraged a romance between EDI and Joker. (I am sure many other folk have seen this dialogue before, but it was new to me.:P)
