Question: what happens if I don't use Renegade interrupt when clone jumps Shepard from behind (omni-blade block)? Does he dodge Kai-Leng-style or simply dies?

Before the extended cut was released, 4000 ems was required to get the breath scene as long as Anderson was "saved". The most war assets that were acquired were approximately 7415 total military strength without any dlc. If the extended cut did not lower the ems requirement for the breath scene, people who choose not to play multiplayer to raise their galactic readiness would've had to wait till the Leviathan dlc was released to get enough assets to get the breath scene
I'd like it a lot more if I didn't burn through ammo quite so quickly with it, and if it didn't have Cerberus colors all over it -- I'll take the Mattock instead because of that, heh.And the Harrier is the best of all. It's the rifle that won the war

If it had infinite ammo like the Lancer, it'd go directly into the "Vlad the Impaler"-category of weapons ![]()
As for Cerberus colors...I enjoy the irony of it, especially when killing, well, Cerberus ![]()

Heh, that it would. I don't even want infinite ammo for it, maybe just an extra hundred rounds or so... or higher capacity thermal clips, or whatever it needs. Conrad would know. He wouldn't like talking about it, but he'd know. ![]()
During Archangels recruitment just before and during your talk with Cathka one of the human mercs looks like Captain Ventralis from ME1.
In the Overlord DLC mission when you arrive at the last base (Atlas) after you take the 'wonky' elevator down to the level that you get a 'Heavy Skin Weave' pick-up in, if you try and use the elevator again it comes flying down and explodes.
I'm not sure if they've been mentioned (they probably have) but I couldn't be bothered going through the thread to look.
Sue me. ![]()

The Assault Rifle Extended Magazine is already a good addition (mandatory almost)...it ups from 20 rounds per clip to 36 (lvl V of the mod, Harrier X), and if you aim for headshots, ammo isn't that scarce ![]()

Yep, true enough, but if I'm going for headshots, I'd rather have the Mattock: single-shot/mouse-click.
EDIT: I'm not just being argumentative, I swear
. I do like the Harrier, too.

Nah, those are good points....although if I go for headshots, I'd rather go with my beloved M-99 Saber. Which is what I'll do in the NG+ playthought, along with every headshot modifier armor piece I can get ![]()

Indeed, I did a sniperless infiltrator game once, Saber+cryo ammo. Was almost like having a SR, heh

I plan to do quite the opposite in the NG+....long-ranged Soldier with the Saber and the Javelin. Although I will also want to try out the Harrier and Mattock X....too many good assault rifles in ME3 ![]()

I was pretty much using the Saber in place of a SR. I don't remember exactly, but I think I had an Eagle as a secondary weapon.

Well, I wasn't implying I'd carry both weapons at once, but I'll do missions with both, for the sake of variety ![]()
Truth is that I'm using this first playthought mostly to prepare for the 2nd....getting to lvl 60 (52 right now, and I haven't even done any DLC or begun the Geth arc), buying all the weapon upgrades I can so I won't turn crazy looking for them (or for credits) in the NG+, upgrading all the interesting weapons to lvl V....that sort of thing.
On Grunt's loyalty mission, i just noticed that when you push the keystone, you can actually see a hammer going down triggering the enemies, (I'v always wondered where that loud "boom" was coming from, haha) I assume something like the ones on the Tuchanka Reaper mission in ME3.

Nonsense. Everybody knows that "boom" comes from Shepard's uncontrolled flatulence problem
(Lazarus project really messed things up in that aspect).
After recruiting Javik, he senses your feelings on the Normandy. The dialogue changes depending when you recruit him.
If you recruit him early, he senses your fear that the Reapers are winning. If you recruit him later (one or two Reaper Destroyers later), he senses more confidence than fear since you believe you are winning.
I decided to recruit him after the Thessia mission and heard new dialogue for the first time. This time he senses anger and discouragement over a recent defeat.
I thought that was interesting.
If you don't help Gianna on Noveria, she will have different dialogue when you see her on Illium.

A little thing I noticed a few playthroughs ago is, in ME2 you pick up the Collector Beam Weapon on Horizon and the Geth Pulse Rifle on Haestrom. When you bring up the weapon inventory HUD (Left Bumper on Xbox and PS3) the weapon icons are the same for both weapons.
Yeah, I just noticed the same thing on Horizon when I picked up the Collector Beam Weapon in my weapon HUD, my Locusts icon had changed and it looked like I had two Beam guns,
And when I was doing Thanes mission, when I picked up the Viper the Locust icon disappeared and I had two Viper icons instead. I did a quick save and reload (loving the quick load times on Xbox btw) and the icons had returned to normal.
(I think something similar happened when I picked up the Carnifex. Although I can't confirm that, because I was in a hurry with that one.)
It must happen when you pick up certain new weapons.
If you don't encourage a relationship between Joker and EDI, then just before you head to Earth for the big finale, EDI will say, "I have also recovered a four-leaf clover from the Presidium in case of catastrophic failure." where otherwise she says, "I have also kissed Joker for luck."

Are we playing the same exact game? You wouldn't happen to be playing a femshep, colonist, sole survivor?
I just found this out last night as well.

Heh, maybe close. Maleshep, colonist, sole survivor. Just finished my game, actually. Been posting about it over in the "what you did today..." thread. Went renegade control. Very different from my usual games, in a lot of ways.
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I just noticed that the Avengers in the armor lockers down in the shuttle bay have the ME1/ME2 style scopes on them, as do the Avengers on Steve's workbench.
The missiles seen in Kasumi's loyalty mission are the same ones seen in London.
After Jack free's herself, Shepard and squad can be seen for a second before Jack attacks the heavy mechs
Just discovered that ME3 is a far better game coming to it with an imported Shep. I also discovered on wiki that there is supposed to be dialogue with Shep, Kaidan and Ash about the view and Kaidan almost steps in it saying something about the commander being lovely and Ash laughs at him. Where is that in-game? Because i tried with the view of the Nebula outside Dr Michel's clinic and nothing happened.
Also - femShep had some dialogue with Joker (must have been in 3) about EDI and Shep asks Joker 'what about me?'. Have not been able to get that option again.
