Ashley/Kaidan switch places depending on if you're playing as male or female Shepard. I'm playing as femshep for the first time, and Ashley was in Kaidan's usual spot after Eden Prime.

I noticed that not too long ago as well. Guess they wanted to make sure your potential LI would be there right as you walked out of the medbay.

Also that it is the potential LI, who has to be 'rescued' from the beacon, and is the 'damsel in distress' at least once.

Although it might be obvious, being a vanguard on the Mars mission is hilarious.

I could just keep on biotic charging Eva.

Also, does anybody else think that the reaper’s names should be swapped? Sovereign is the first reaper we see and is the sign of a coming invasion, and Harbinger is the ‘king’ of the reapers, or at least of the collectors.

This has crossed my mind before and I agree, they should have swapped names.

On Therum, when facing the Colossus Armature (Colossus got hit with the Mako) on foot, there's excellent cover to your left, behind the wall that the geth sappers are chillin' on.

After playing ME3, and then playing ME1 again afterwards, that was the first instance I can remember where the dive-roll would have been beneficial.

Found this while lurking in the Wikia:

"According to the Saturday Mass Effect: Exploring the Universe panel at PAX East 2013, Fist's corpse is a charred skeleton found in Priority: The Citadel II, if the player chose to spare Fist in the first game."

Elanos Haliat was originally intended to be a Turian, but was given a Human Model in Mass Effect 1... If you hear closely, you can see that his sound processing looks like Turian and when he talks about humanity, he says "Shepard's Kind"

*Also, he says that he assembled the fleet that launched the Skyllian Blitz three years previously, when in fact the Blitz occurred seven years prior to the game.

 * His name is a mix of Elanus Risk Control and Haliat Armory.

*And when outside the mine, you can clearly see that he doesn't wear any helmet at all... Bit strange, since the atmosphere is composed of Carbon Dyoxide and Crypton, not to mention the planet's surface temperature.

I really hope an HD remaster of the trilogy for PS4/XBone [assuming there ever is one] fixes this Elanos Haliat problem. It bothers me every time I do that assignment

And maybe they could update that charred body to make it look like a charred Fist instead of "Charred generic corpse"

You can actually see the Normandy outside in the Dock: Holding Area.

Yeah, in the three Games...

Of course, in the first one, you can see it in the Docking Bay(Duh)

In ME2, you can see it in the Docking Part of the Citadel, right where you land when getting off the Normandy with the Skycar.

And in ME3 you can see various times, like Aria's Dock, The Alliance Docking Bay, The Citadel DLC docking bay and in the Docking bay that it's turned in a refugee area.

In the Omega DLC when you get to the Mines part, well the start of it anyway, where you first hear the Adjutant. If you look down the darkened cat-walk with all the dead Cerberus guys, you can see the Adjutant one level up leap out of sight.

I hadn't noticed that before.

During the Atrium Battle, you can actually get staggered by the student's biotic attacks.

This happened to me after I stasis an enemy, I went to run and heavy melee it, but got staggered when one of the students tried to shoot a biotic projectile at him.

Edi: Shepard, I advise not going to the Academy with the Cerberus Armor.

Shepard: Come on, what's the worse that could happen?

*Biotic Explosion*

Critical Mission Failure

Jack: Damn it, Rodriguez!

You know the Nova-Like Heavy Melee you have as a vanguard when you run and heavy melee?

It can be used to destroy the webbings when you're finding the Krogan scouts. Shockwave works as well (especially on those damn pods).

Just had a weird, multi-conversation with Traynor. I interact with her while I'm on her left, talking about the Rachni. i then decided to go on her right, and now we're talking about strategy games. I simultaneously went on her left and right, listening to both donversations.

TRIPLE POST, STOP DISCOVERING SO MANY THINGS!

There are pigeons in the Presidium Commons, above the roof of Apollo's Cafe.

EDIT: When you get the Graal Spike Thrower, the krogan nearby says something like "That's mine, give it back to me when you're down."

Yeah, and he says something like "make sure your Salarian pet stays in the truck". I guess he should've too.

Typical Krogan bravado though. I mean, really, trying to headbutt an out of control fighter?. Ouch!

Grunt or Wrex could've done it easily though.

I don't sure that anyone already post this yet and It might not relate direct to the gameplay of Mass Effect.

But I just discovered from youtube last night that voice actor (male) of Stargazer is Buzz Aldrin !!!

Those birds will remain in the same spot for the entire game

And if the clown got to an escape pod when he had the chance instead of having "I can save the ship" mentality, Shepard would never of died at the beginning of ME2.

And if Shepard hadn't died, he'd have probably stayed with the Alliance with his hands tied regarding the Collectors until the Reapers arrived (there's not so much time between the events of ME2 and ME3 afterall, and we all know how lovely bureoucracy is), thus opening yet another front at the Reaper war.

I'm sure Shepard would've done something, not sure what with the SR1 blown up, instead of having the ME1 characters sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing for 2 years like they did when Shepard was  dead
