I just discovered that Maeko Matsuo on Noveria actually has a fair bit to say for herself, is actually pretty likeable. I feel bad now for giving her grief about her corrupt guards.

Matsuo after talking with Gianna
Matsuo after killing Sergeant Stirling.
Matsuo after Anoleus is arrested.
Matsuo also has dialogue after Anoleus and Gianna kill each other and after dealing with the geth in the garage.

I'm struggling to think of another insignificant character in the entire trilogy with as much dialogue as Matsuo-san.

Captain J. Ventralis. Not as much as Maeko, but he has even less of a role.

Except, he tries to kill Shepard, Matsuo never does. I'm not sure I'd call that a lesser role.

Hey, give him a break. I'd be a little jumpy too if I'd been fighting rachni for an extended period of time.
Edit: Holy sh*t, he actually does attack you? Never knew that lol. Screw that guy.

If you ask about The Krogan female to Wrex, he'll reply: "The Females like to talk about it. Then think about it. Then talk about it some more", and if you're playing as a FemShep, he'll say: "no offense", to which FemShep will reply "We have many ideas, Wrex. Perhaps you should begin to listen", and then Wrex "Yeah, but they have so many of it"

If you're a Femshep, when talking with Eve in the Normandy Med-Bay, she'll say that she's "glad humans put a lot of faith in their females" and also says to Shepard to "Show them how it's done", to which Shepard replies "Deal."

The player doesn't have to fight Ventralis. I just go to the Elcor merchant buy/sell and then to the door that sets off the alarm. After dealing with rachni queen, I walk out the door back to the Normandy bypassing Ventralis.

As you approach Cision Motors, you can see the two CAT6 mercs through the door, firing Predators with high-caliber barrel mods (at nothing).
After opening the door, the cutscene begins, showing the same two mercs now firing un-modded Tempests at your LI / Liara.

The N7 Eagle is named after the Desert Eagle...
I just read for the first time the weapon description and saw it... I thought it was something related to the Rapid fire of the Weapon or something, but, hey!
Aaand, James' Workbench is the same model for the Weapons Bench. Edit: But with more things on the table.

You wouldn't believe how freakin' long it took me to discover that going to the Citadel actually replenishes your fuel for free. And me (sometimes) wasting money on fuel stations. Such an idiot...xD

On Thessia, in the temple, are these three Athame/Asari statues.
Their middle head tentacles are not short, like the ones from normal Asari, but actually go all the way down - re-entering their bodies at the base of their hips. ![]()
(I believe I have seen a similar concept/drawing once, but I just can't remember when or where)

I can't think of a better place to ask this but I've just noticed the bust on the mantle piece above the fire in Anderson's apartment. What species is it of?

I don't think it's of any particular species. Its... abstract art I guess. Maybe it represents something. I don't know. Not really my thing. Heres a few shots of it though...

You can see the same "busts" in one of the shops where you pick up a weapon mod just before using your spectre access code during the solo portion of the Citadel mission. The shop is right next to the fish-dog food shack. I think it is called Value Added.

Spoiler
When climbing the ladder, right before the shuttle Crash, look up and you'll see the Kodiak Shuttle Parked there, in the Skies.
@Valmar, yeah, you're right... it doesn't look like any species. My first thought was Krogan, but I couldn't relate to them.
It could be the Raloi, but I highly don't think so.

It looks to me like an abstract Prothean or Turian who is looking at their feet.

Thanks guys, this screenie makes it just look like neatly arranged rocks.
Edit: Although it does share a vague resemblance to the new Krogan unihorn seen in the conceptual new ME trailer.

Can you believe that, after countless playthoughts, just now I've seen 2 Atlases appear in Cerberus HQ just after opening that big hole with one of their fighters? (the one that appears in the cutscene, then another one on your left). What was that, game? A farewell gift? Where the hell has that Atlas been in all my previous 20 playthoughts?? D:
