I believe the woman who routinely cosplays as Samara was Samara's face model (not her VA), so of course that cosplay is convincing.

I've just discovered you can actually click on the Compare button in the stores to see how items are to what your squad has equipped.
Seven odd years I've been playing and I never once tried it.

I never realized this before, but drone vs drone combat is possible in ME2. Next time I see an enemy drone heading for me, I am going to toss a drone at it rather than using the overload which has a cool down twice as long.

During the scene where the Alliance fleet fights sovereign at the end of ME1 an Alliance cruiser actually tries to ram sovereign and get destroyed in the process.
Also, an unrelated note, does anybody actually know where the bridge on Alliance ships is located? The ships designs really don't seem to make much sense.

That's what I like about Garrus. His character doesn't diminish even if you don't romance him. He's either a great lover, or a great friend. I got so annoyed with Jack when she kept snubbing my FemShep just because I was being nice to her. There was so much potential. *sniff* Even as just friends.
Try playing ME2 with a Shepard that doesn't romance Garrus.
You'll be replying in this thread that all Garrus does is calibrate. ![]()
It was one of the common fan complaints with ME2. With male Sheps or a Fem Shep that doesn't have Garrus as an LI, he has very little to say on the Normandy. He was handled better in ME3, where even on the friendship path he has more dialogue than any other squadmate in the game.

... True... I was only thinking of ME3 when I said that. In fact, I've never romanced Garrus firsthand yet, though I always did the "test your reach and my flexibility" conversation option because it was just hilarious to me. And then I reloaded my save.
They made up for it in ME3 though, me thinks. Enough to make me forget about the endless calibrations in ME2. ![]()

Liara, Joker, Samantha, Adams, James, Hackett and Shepard are the only one's guaranteed to live in high ems(over 3100) destroy ending. Everyone else can either be dead or not recruited
In an ME3 default playthrough, Garrus would be guaranteed to live in high ems destroy as with the others listed above

I am not sure about this one, but appears that the enemy may remark on one of your squad mates dieing in ME2. I know they will comment on Shepard's condition, for instance they will say "unshielded hostile" when Shepard's shields go down. But in this clip you can hear the Batarian Legionnaire yell "Yeah!" right as Miranda croaks.

It really does look like that !
But if you watch the video again (the real file's name is END_90_SovereignGood_CUT_01.bik), you'll see that the cruiser is actually 'above' Sovereign (At the start of the sequence). It also gets hit by a Thanix shot, somewhere from behind Sovereign (likely from one of the smaller 'arms'/'tentacles').
BUT: This is the first time I've seen Sovereign's kinetic barrier! Right when the cruiser seems to hit Sovereign, there is a lot of distortion.
Also, an unrelated note, does anybody actually know where the bridge on Alliance ships is located? The ships designs really don't seem to make much sense.
Judging from the Normandy (I know: Turian design, but still), I'd say it's likely located on top, in the 'Towers'.
Either that, or the more logical location -> deep within the ships-belly, somewhere underneath the main gun-barrels.

Well, the cruiser seems to be taking damage before it gets hit by sovereign's weapons, the explosions coincidence with the moment the cruisers appears to hit sovereign, apart from that, there seems to be no justification for the cruiser's awkard position other than it would try to ram sovereign.

Well, the normandy SR1 has a tringular shaped construction near the aft side, but it is part of the interior, it just appears to be sensor pod. However this piece of concept art seems to indicate the tower on the cruiser is indeed part of the interior given the lights that are present.

I made a screenshot, just before the ship blows up:
If the cruiser was indeed in the same plane and ramming Sovereign, its fins would already be deep within the Reaper's outer shell by that time.
Furthermore the Thanix shot (which is barely visible here) would come from some random point at the forward upper hull. This is unlike all other visible shots, which originate from the tips of Sovereigns arms.
And; yeah, the ships position doesn't make much sense (maybe it was trying to get behind Sovereign?), but there are also several other ships just goofing* around.
*I'm not entirely sure if that is the word I meant.
About bridge positions: I should have stated that more clearly. I agree with you that the Triangular structure seems to house some sort of sensor equipment.
The ME3 version of Cruiser and Dreadnought models has additional tower/antenna like structures in front of the big Triangular one, these are the ones I was referring to. (AFAIK they have also window rows)
I just remembered that the Device_Reveal video also shows Hackett standing on his ships CIC (?) or com. room, in front of a large window front. If this is to be taken serious and we believe that this room is somewhere 'near' the bridge, it's location would really be somewhere at the outside.

During the suicide mission, husks are able to walk through the bubble/barrier and attack Shepard and squad, but on Thessia, the husks and brutes only attack the bubble/barrier and not go through to attack the asari maintaining the bubble/barrier

This may be the tiniest little discovery yet: on Jarrahe Station in ME2, the "Station VI" that has been talking to you the entire time is suddenly labeled "Survivor" when Shepard activates the console to shut it down. Was the mission originally meant to have Shepard find a "survivor" at the end?

In ME2 Kelly will tell Shepard that she believes the message for him/her is from Admiral Anderson. When reading the email, it is from Admiral Anderson. When Shepard talks with Anderson, if the player has the subtitles on, it will say Captain Anderson.
I just finished playing ME2 and did Arrival after the suicide mission, then I went to talk with Anderson for the first time in the game. The dialogue is the same as if Shepard talked with him at the beginning of the game.

I finished my first ME2 playthrough with subtitles last night, and noticed that on the derelict Reaper, when we first make contact with Legion, the subtitles say "Legion", but it switches back to "geth", until EDI comes up with "Legion" back on the Normandy.

The most common issue I have had with Engineer is triggering additional waves when tossing out a drone. For instance, lets say you're fighting your way out of Hock's vault. In the section where you run into the second YMIR mech if you target a drone at the Heavy behind the mech, then the next wave with the Asari Vanguard will show up while you are still fighring the YMIR. Or in the final room, if you send out a drone to the Heavy in the truck bed at the far end of the room you will trigger the second wave with another Vanguard, Heavy, and Engineer.
The most annoying problem was when I locked myself out of advancing through Lazarus Station when I tossed a drone at the mechs you are supposed to use the grenade launcher on. By throwing my drone out there I triggered Miranda's next dialogue and locked the elevator door.
