I discovered why people hated the Mako. It wasn't because it was bad on the XBox. It was fine there. It was because the controls sucked on the PC. I mean they really sucked on the PC. They really really really sucked on the PC.

I agree. I played ME1 on the pc before it was available for the ps3 and I had a hard time. With the game on the ps3, it was easier to move around

Wow, such attention to detail! I never noticed this before but as you enter the area on Horizon where you run into the second batch of Collectors, right after Joker tells you "we're getting a lot of interference," you can see a Stasis Pod being transported to the Collector Ship

Strange, on my Install the pod is always 'moved' by another unshielded Collector.

As for the Mako: I thought most complaints about it came from the original Xbox folks, as PC only got i a year or so later.

You can just barely make out a Collector accompanying the Pod in that clip right as Shepard enters the area. Can't tell if he has a barrier or not. I suppose he should since this clip was taken from an insanity game, but who knows? Maybe they make an exception for that one guy.

I found a pretty good laugh in ME2 while aimlessly stumbling around scanning for resources. It's nice to still find new things after so many playthroughs.

It's the codex for the planet Patsayev in the Pamyat Sytem of the Hades Nexus. It reads:

"A rock planet encased in frozen oceans. Patsayev is notable for the largest written message ever created by a human being. Andrei Kobzar, a disgruntled miner whose fortunes were spent prospecting for eezo used the mass accelerator cannon of a local mercenary group's A-61 Mantis gunship to carve a 208-kilometer long message in the ice saying 'Zdes nichego net,' Russian for 'There's nothing here!'

This message can be seen from space. Ironically, the message itself, intended to discourage future colonists, now draws small tourist crowds."

Lol can't you just imagine some crazy Russian son of a gun downing a half a bottle of vodka, thinking 'screw it' and hopping in a gunship to do that? Anyway, it made me laugh and was a very nice chuckle to break up the grind of looking for resources. Hopefully it makes some of you laugh as well.  :)

Yeah, the little things you just discover in Planetary Descriptions.... There is even one, next to Tuchanka, saying that three Warlords were fighting and decided to go to the planet, then all 3 were expecting an ambush, and every single one of them took reinforcements. So, the thing was a bloodbath and not one returned. It says that Krogan are still discussing whose Ancestors won that battle.

Oh, there is a pretty interesting one too, in the Same Cluster (Different System) of Illium, there is a planet that says that an Asari team was there, and they got bacteria and some viruses. Then, when they arrived back on Illium, the Port that they docked was then infected and quarentined, which contributed to the Expansion and growth of Nos Astra.

Isn't there a planet description mentioning a batarian pirate using his ship to draw a penis on said planet? I seem to recall something like that.

I started on the Xbox 360 and hated the controls of the Mako there, as you couldn't control the vehicle and the turret separately.

The Mako I find is easier to control on the PC because I can shoot in one direction while driving in another.

Something I only JUST noticed: Firebase Glacier, the Cerberus Research outpost that's the first N7 mission you learn about in ME 3? It's part of a MUCH larger complex, some kind of circular, multilevel colony/outpost. You can get an idea of how large it is by stopping at the 'balcony' and looking around.

Geth pulse rifle is kind of a crappy rifle anyway... err, just my opinion  :D ... considering you have to play Haestrom on hardcore or insanity to get it. Alright for some, heh. I'm a casual difficulty kinda guy... most of the time. Especially in ME2. Combat's fun and all, but it's fun enough for me on casual. I did play Haestrom on hadrdcore once, just to try out the rifle. Maybe if I hadn't gotten the Mattock first, I might have appreciated it a little more.

same here it's mostl;y because of my disability though as I only have 1 hand on the controls so therefore it's virtually impossible so I generally stick with lower levels but as long as you enjoy playing the game that's all that matters really. I know I do.

I didn't know about that. Getting that rifle the difficulty has to be on hardcore or higher. No big deal. I always use the collector assault rifle

I generally use the mattock (when playing as a soldier) but as you say the collector rifle is good

Yup I agree completely; play the game whichever way suits you best. As far as the ME games -- or even the DA games -- go, no matter how much combat is a part of things, I play the games for the story and the characters. Having said that, I did play ME3 on insanity once, and although I got my butt kicked fairly often, I had an absolute blast. Finally managing to take down that first Atlas 'mech on the Grissom Academy mission was very satisfying.

Mordin was a biotic originally. Too bad it was scratched, but dialogues still prove that he once was. Probably the only biotic salarian if it was not scratched.

Yes. Alix Wilton Regan(my avatar and Sam's VA) did a wonderful job voicing her

Yeah she's a very talented voice actress. I hope Bioware keep using her as she does a wonderful job. I wsa glad they gave her the chance to play as the main protaganist in Inquisition she deserved it given how well she did with Traynor. I follow her on twitter as well

Yes. It's worth noting that Salarian Bitoics do exist, but are considered to be too valuable and thus won't go on the frontlines, serving instead as Advisors and researchers (which could fit with the Professor).

If anyone is interested, there is the cut dialogue in Youtube.

When on Horizon, in ME2, Joker will be heard saying he's getting all kinds of interference can't maintain the field

http://youtu.be/huHWxwKyYFQ?t=5m13s

After activating the project, if Shepard calls for a pickup, Joker will have the same dialogue that was heard on Horizon.

I learned that the second and third speech checks have a much lower requirement than the first during the final confrontation with Saren (before he becomes Sovereign). It was pretty weird getting 25 renegade from what was originally a paragon speech option.

During the suicide mission, for the first portion i took Tali and Garrus and at one point i heard one of the collectors say something along the lines of "Quarian. Will be considered..." There was more but i was too busy, you know, avoiding being shot and there was no subtitle :P  In all my playthroughs where Tali was in my squad on any part of the SM, haven't heard anything like that before.

Also, i did pay attention to the subtitles a bit more especially during the SM and noticed a few things where the spoken words didnt match the text. For example, Grunt says "Hostiles!" and the subtitle says "Trouble!".

Also, i didnt even know you could skip the credits! ...All these years and i waited for them to finish  but this time i hit the escape key twice and was asked if i wanted to skip credits.

I generally miss Harbinger's commentary as well. Lately, though, I have been able to catch more of it since I have been recording my sessions.

Here is a page with all of Harbinger's commentary.

Okay this is a little thing that's been bugging me for a while now. But on the Citadel in me3 you see those adverts and billboards, the moving holographic? ones, as well as still posters and there's one for Rosenkov Materials.

You see an armoured figure, from the neck down anyway, slide by and it looks like the shoulder piece is the Armax Arsenal one. The distinctive one with the round nipple or dimple thing.

Just seems strange to have on the Rosenkov billboard. Unless I'm seeing it wrong. But in the Citadel DLC you see an ad for Rosenkov (a non moving one) that has the right shoulder piece.

On Menae, when Liara/James say they fixed the tower, start running all the way back to General Corinthus. He and Shepard will continue to have their dialogue as if Shepard is still fighting near the communications tower

I just finished rescuing the Krogan female. I had Liara and James with me. While fighting the Atlas, Liara mentions Wrex's name even though I never recruited him in ME1

Never had renegade sex with Jack before, so this comment from Kasumi was new to me.

The largest object in the Klein Belt, Gilead is a stony dwarf planet of rock and ice, mined for its nickel. It is notable for a recent collision with another asteroid. The residents had several weeks of advance warning and set up recording devices before they evacuated the planet. After selling footage of the asteroid strike to extranet news corporations, the residents found they were now somewhat famous -- as well as a little wealthier than before. Of the 221 residents, all but 25 proceeded to leave the nickel business.

:D

I'm on my second playthrough and took romanced Kaidan with me on the Geth dreadnought mission. After the team regroups, Kaidan looks at Shepard and there's a small exchange:

Kaidan: You okay, Commander?

Shepard: Better now.

... I'm a sucker for the little things.

Depending on what order the player watches the vids in the From Ashes dlc, Liara and Shepard have different lines of dialogue

You can see SR-1 marking on the first image. It's the same as at the start of ME2. He has one cap for every Normandy :)
