Where is this from? Is this just a photoshop of some random bald guy in ME1?

Nope. He's the real deal. Have to use flycam to find him standing beyond your view after you fought the HybridVI.

This may have been mentioned before in this thread, but it was new to me:

 

I just got the Reaper IFF before recruiting Tali. Instead of saying "Tali once told me no one's ever captured an intact geth before," he says "A Quarian once told him." Also, Jacob does not use the "Tali's going to freak when she hears about this" line.

Today was a glorious day for finding new (new to me) things in Mass Effect 2. (Geth don't infiltrate, they dance!)

 

1) If Jacob is not there during the first dialogue with Ish where you get his assignment to pick up some packages, then even if Jacob is in your party when you return to Ish you will not get the renegade persuade option.

 

2) I got to hear Legion's comments while talking with the Council and with Anderson.

 

3) If you didn't talk to Anderson before Horizon, then his comments on the VS will be different than if you did talk to him before Horizon and then ask him about the VS again after Horizon.

 

4) Legion danced for me and I captured it on video.

So this is the Cerberus logo as introduced in ME2:

 

 

However, this is unused logo for Binary Helix in ME1, only seen in the art of Mass Effect, seems pretty similar to the logo above.

 

 

To make it even more interesting, this was the logo of Cerberus Skunworks, a company that is in ME1 but can only be unlocked by pc cheats:

 

 

 

And then in ME3, this is the logo seen on the Volus Dreadnought:

 

 

Apart from the colours, it is strikingly similiar in shape.

Didn't the same thing happen with Kaidan/Kaiden in ME1 where they switched the a/e in his name? i saw someone point that out once and I have never been able to spell his name right ever again.

His name is misspelled in the subtitles when you land on Virmire.

Probably. I've never had a problem with it. Probably cause I rarely have subtitles on

Saw this little exchange between Garrus and Wrex on YouTube. I had no chance of ever seeing this on my own playthroughs, because I almost never take Garrus to Noveria, and most certainly never with Wrex.

 

These days, I mostly take Kaidan and Liara everywhere, or Wrex and Ashley.

The other day I was watching videos of the synthesis ending and noticed that whether or not the genophage is cured or not, it will show the same slide of the female and male Krogan looking at a baby Krogan and the next slide will show Krogan doing some rebuilding.

Just found out that the Colossus on Haestrom will go after hacked geth. Great way to divert its attention away from yourself.

How sad Shepard looks after TIM executes Anderson at the end of ME3.  The silence adds a lot more weight to that scene.

I just found out that without Kelly aboard (kidnapped) EDI will be the one to tell you (over the intercom) that a crew member has a loyalty mission available.

It will also remind Shepard about the Krogan in the tank if its not opened right away and about the Geth in the AI core if it hasn't been activated

Those I knew about. Fortunately, she does not repeat those after telling you once. Not sure about the loyalty missions, though. I already went and talked to Tali, so there is no reason for her to repeat that.

This is very interesting to me, as it is super duper heavily implied (but never directly stated) by the lore that in addition to the Cord-Hislop Aerospace company, TIM likely is a major shareholder in both Exo-Geni and Binary Helix.

I wish they would have elucidated TIM's capitalist nature more in the games. In the books it is made clear that Cerberus is far more infiltrative than the games make apparent before ME3 (and so it gives the appearance that it came out of nowhere). In reality, corporations reign supreme in the Alliance, and Cerberus has its tendrils in all of the most influential ones.

This surprised me: saw a Geth trooper panic when hit by a Destroyer's flamethrower (the Destroyer was hacked). I didn't think Geth would panic.
