I've done all that before, but never got the 'Rachni on Tuchanka' slide ![]()
Edit: It may be possible that I did not do the 'Turian Platoon' mission in that playthrough, hrmpf ![]()

You need to have Wreav for that. Idiot goes to war without realizing that the genophage is still in place. Krogan get wiped out and Rachni settle Tuchanka.
Obviously you need to save the real queen ![]()
Guys, it's easier than that lol. Just sabotage the genophage and save the Rachni Queen, that's all you need to do.
Interesting. Based on wiki information Wrex should suffice too.
If Shepard chooses to activate the Crucible, the real Queen was spared twice, and the krogan were denied the real cure for their genophage, the rachni will be seen settling their spindly limbs on the ruins of a desolate Tuchanka.
Eve has to die as well.
Bomb detonation is worth -250 war assets, Krogan Clans - +300, Eve's death - -50
I'll add that to the post

Yep, it doesn't matter who's in charge of Krogan, whether you saved Maelon's data, whether Eve lives or dies or whether you did the Turian Platoon mission, just sabotage the genophage and save the original Rachni Queen and you'll get the slide, it's that simple.
This is something I use in regards to the genophage cure. The rachni seem to even out the galactic playing field with the krogan. Rachni + Council will destroy the krogan. Krogan + Council will destroy the Rachni. If both are present they'll "keep their "urges" in check"
If I kill the queen I sabotage the cure. No way the krogan won't go to war. Wrex isn't immortal and there are a lot of krogan who don't agree with his methods.
Instead of firing the cain at the Hades Cannon, I fired at the sky. A moment later Javik says, "Damn it. Grab another round." I grabbed the other cain and fired at the sky again. A moment later Shepard was killed giving me a critical mission failure screen.
Noticed the similarities ![]()
I just realized that Shepard's dancing in the VIP lounge in ME2 is the same as in Purgatory in ME3, and the same as Techno-Turian and Samantha Traynor. (and that Garrus dances like Kaidan, BroShep, and Salairans in ME1.)
Reading is not important, just the images.

This is very interesting to me, as it is super duper heavily implied (but never directly stated) by the lore that in addition to the Cord-Hislop Aerospace company, TIM likely is a major shareholder in both Exo-Geni and Binary Helix.
I wish they would have elucidated TIM's capitalist nature more in the games. In the books it is made clear that Cerberus is far more infiltrative than the games make apparent before ME3 (and so it gives the appearance that it came out of nowhere). In reality, corporations reign supreme in the Alliance, and Cerberus has its tendrils in all of the most influential ones.
Funny thing, TIM also had a friend that was called Ben Hislop, in the First Contact War (Evolution Comics show this)
When in Thane's room and the crew quarters, the player can see the drive core, but in ME3, the windows are covered
Also worth noting that you can't see the walkaway that leads to the Drive Core in the Engineering Deck from Thane's Quarters...
OK, now for the things I've discovered:
I recently discovered in Mass Effect 1 there's an extra little "cutscene" on Eden Prime. If you walk up to the railing behind the beacon, the camera pans out wide, overlooking the burnt ground left behind by Sovereign and your squad makes a couple comments. Despite having played through dozens of times, for some reason I never thought to go up to the railing before. On a whim I did so for the first time, and it was a nice little surprise.
Wuuuuuut

It would take me less time to just replay the series a few more times. ![]()
Just finished ME1 and for the first time I did Feros after Virmire.
And on the pool area, where you pump the water, you can see a Cerberus Soldier floating dead.
Wait. Floating?!
Aren't Cerberus soldiers wearing full body armour? Or is the Illusive man actually arming them with mass-produced tissue-paper armour?
Or - better question - what is in that water such that it's doing a better job than the Dead Sea?!

Considering Cerberus does not even bother giving their basic Troopers shield generators in their suits, it would not surprise me to learn if the suits were indeed made of tissue paper.
It would take me less time to just replay the series a few more times.
And you still might not catch all the little things that can be found.
Funny thing, TIM also had a friend that was called Ben Hislop, in the First Contact War (Evolution Comics show this)
Going to have to try that Mike, That turret sucks.
Yesterday I discovered in ME1 (maybe this is old news), that if your Mako is in a bad condition, just drive back somewhere you can save, reload that save and the Mako is repaired automatically.
Playing on PS3, not sure if it's working for all systems.
Instead of using the turret on Menae, I used pull for dealing with the husks because of its quick cooldown. A couple times a husk would float up to the barricade and Garrus would say. "they're on the barricade".
Yep. Things going biotic BOOM is a lot more fun than sitting in a boring turret all day ![]()
