As folks know when running to the beam, its Harbinger, a capital ship, firing at everyone, but in the collectors edition guidebook on page 322, it say's a destroyer is firing at Shepard and others
"When you're finally close enough to the transport beam, you make a mad dash straight for it. The conduit to the Citadel is still heavily guarded as more and more reapers arrive, and a nearby destroyer randomly targets your assault team. Even though you are in control, there is nothing left to do here but push forward."
"Don't worry about the laser cannon as it fires closely to you; it won't hit you. Instead, keep your path focused directly on the beam and keep running. There are a few last reapers in your way, but you've got your pistol in hand. A few quick shots clears the way. You'll eventually reach it but when you do, it transports you to the Citadel."

When inside the Armax Arsenal Arena, you can see the spectators watching you from the balcony above. They're not animated well, but they're there.

Just got a new dialogue line when shooting bottles with Garrus.
Garrus says: "Long range I wrote the book. Nobody alive can do this, not even Commander Shepard."
When Shepard chooses to shoot the bottle, on import runs he'll/she'll say: "Nobody alive maybe, but technically I died."
On a non-import run Shepard says: "Time to rewrite that book"

Who the hell wrote that damn book?

If / When you get Liara to talk to Matriarch Aethyta, be sure to eavesdrop / walk away / come back to eavesdrop several times. There is an insane amount of dialogue.

If you don't buy the Serrice Ice Brandy for Dr.Chakwas in ME2, she will have the same dialogue, in ME3, as if you did buy her the bottle

I paused the game while standing next to a shield pylon and noticed that Ashley's shields were over 14 000. Javiks barriers were over 14 000. I looked at my Shepards shields and they were the same at 875. Don't know why it didn't changed for my Shepard. The number for Ashley and Javik lowered the further I got from the pylon
Before going through the door to fight the 3 Cerberus guys in the hanger bay where you first met Gavin Archer, I was able to defeat those 3 through the window. They saw me look through the window and came in view and I used Javik and Ashley to kill them. Its similiar to defeating the Cerberus troopers in the room while getting to cover from the overhead turret on Mars

Conrad Verner is actually Dr. Conrad Verner. He wrote a controversial doctoral dissertation on xenotechnology & dark energy which can help build the Crucible (worth 5 points of War Assets).

Worth up to five points. I never buy the Elkoss Combine licence in ME1 anymore, so I only get 1 point. Likewise if you didn't collect all of Matriarch Dilinaga's writings, or didn't help Gavin Hossle on Feros. You need all three to get the full 5 points.

Couple interesting things when saving Kaidan or Ashley in ME1, Virmire. When going to save whomever is at the tower, battle with Saren has bit more dramatic scene. When he grabs Shepard by throat and lifts up, he's holding Shepard at the edge of the tower. When at the bomb site, same happens there but it doesn't look equally dangerous. Also if you save the tower, a scene showing Kaidan/Ashley doing their last stand to protect the bomb, just before it explodes. Instead, if bomb site is saved, last stand isn't shown of the person at the tower.

At Ilium yesterday. overhearing the friendzoned Turian and his Quarian friend talking about Fleet and Flotilla and him encouraging her to watch the movie with him and she said that she downloaded Nerve Stim Pro into her suit and he encourages her with "There's a sex scene in this" and... from friendzoned to downright horny turian... I assume this is the sort of conversation Garrus and Tali would have in ME3.... I love this game

In most of my playthroughs, I kill the Cerberus guy before he can climb into the atlas mech and then I use it to kill the rest of the troopers. This time after I did that, I used the mech a second time after launching the fighter to kill the atlas mech that was firing at me.

Yeah, Saren holding Shepard by throat over the cliff is awesome, but the bomb site does have water which I think adds to the scene. Wish you could combine both.

That's part of why I always go for the tower. The other part is that salarians alongside Kirrahe end up on the Normandy regardless of your choice (if you made the appropriate decisions beforehand, of course).

Before the part with 2 brutes smashing through the wall in London, there is a restaurant with a door that Shepard has to go through that has another part of the restaurant. In both sections is a register for ordering and paying for the food with the number 229 and below that number

The Salarians will be there regardless of whether you go to the tower.

Yeah, that's the point. I imagine picking up those salarians:
Shepard: "Come on, Kirrahe, we have to go"
*Ashley comes running*
Shepard: "Sorry Ash, the cargo hold is full"
*The Normandy flies away*
Ashley: "Shepard!"
I go to the tower to avoid that immersion-breaking issue ![]()

The Salarians had always planned to run away. I had always just assumed that some Salarians were up on the tower with the VV (virmire victim) while the rest ran away to a safe distance and were then picked up by the Normandy.

Except Kirrahe is on the tower when you go there. And he is saved if you don't go there. I suppose you can say that Kirrahe ran away with Rentola and a few of his men but he didn't strike me as someone who runs away. "Hold the line"

I don't think I've ever gone to the tower. My vs always does the bomb. Hmm.
same here, I need to try that out now of course! My next Shep is already lined up anyway, even though I'm still in the middle of ME2.

Lies!!
I was running to escape the dreadnought and looked to the right after falling down in the final section near fighters. You can see geth troopers running to get to a fighter only to get crashed by one ![]()

I always assumed it was a meet-up thing. If Kirrahe hears that you're headed to the AA tower, he heads that way too and you see him there. Otherwise, he gets a separate extract. He is presumably listening in on the comms, after all.
