I wish ME3 inserted more Shepard's personal loss. It made sense for Earthborn Shepard to feel awful and desperate to save earth and ME3 did default with Earthborn Shepard in mind... but there's absolutely no explanation for Colonist and Spacer Shep to be more conflicted about Earth than actual Earthborn's in the crew; Kaidan and James. Kaidan did watch his city burn and there's no breakdown???

I thought having Hannah Shepard killed in the beginning of the game would've made it more interesting. Revenge for my mommy, you reaper bastard.

That's one of the things that really annoyed me. My Colonist Shepard was so cut up about Earth but didn't spare a thought for her home world of Mindoir, except for a throwaway line in an optional DLC?

I didn't expect a full on side mission but surely a discussion with Liara about your background wouldn't have taken that much space away from the multiplayer.

Weirdly enough, it could have been easily fixed with the wounded Batarian terrorist. Just make him one of the slaver who attacked Mindoir twenty years back. Colonist Shepard would definitely feel conflicted about euthanasia or prolonging his suffering and then even more conflicted if Shepard did Arrival DLC.

It seems that Arcturus Station was one of Shepard's home and considering Spacer Shepard grew up in space, its strange that Shepard lack unique input for that. And Udina and Spacer Shepard should have additional dialogue when they talk about the station's destruction.

On Grissom Academy, the man on the radio said that Holy Merizen's mother and father was safe in Cerberus Sanctuary :)

Garrus is the only squadmate that will make a comment about the geth falling out of the shuttle when doing the geth fighter squadron mission

A student on Grissom Academy. The important thing isn't the name but "Sanctuary", "Cerberus Sanctuary"

Think it´s different in the german localisation, something like safe with Cerberus or so but have to check when I visit Grissom again.

Did someone count the number of times when someone says "at any cost" in the trilogy? Feels like you could make a drinking game out of that.

The one line that really annoyed me the most is "this is it!"  Especially during Priority Earth.

"This is IT!!" dun, dun, dun!

Oh wait!, a couple of minutes later, "This IS it!!" .....

Nope,  "THIS is it!!" ....

...

"I should go!"

Exactly. They could have made things far more personal for the different backgrounds with nothing more than a handful of extra lines in already existing scenes.

After gaining control of Shepard on Cronos, I walked forward in the area the proto reaper is, and stopped at the bottom of the ramp when the first phantom appeared. No other Cerberus baddies showed up. I walked to the top of the ramp and walked around the proto reaper without any enemy showing up. Never had that happen before. When I finally climbed the ladder to the next area, the enemy showed up.

Instead of shooting at the spot on the tube, I decided to shoot at a different spot and was able to trigger the destroy ending. The white X marks the spot

Other than an omission "the woman I loved", there's only some slight difference with the conversation between unromanced Shepard and Kaidan but the tone are different with romanced Alenko ; the talk between Liara and Shepard was slightly less emotional near the security panel and the camera wouldn't pan on unromanced VS. When Liara said "The Major has become very capable", Shepard would talk about his accomplishment (?) instead of being secretly pleased/proud "That he has" and Kaidan called "Commander" instead of "Shepard".

The were more lines for Ashley. You actually get to talk MORE about Cerberus and her family than with Kaidan. Pfft...

The Illusive Man said "Finish her" for Ashley instead of "Dispose of".... TIM really hate Kaidan...

And Javik can tell if you're lying. Its actually pretty creepy.

And I discovered that I kinda like Garrus being dead in ME3.... Liara got some good lines about her worries for Thessia.

Went to the Grissom Academy in a recent playthrough. Seems that the german localisation is different or I missed it.

There is another difference on Sanctum I think. AFAIK the name of the new recruit who wrote the datapads is Palavi but in german its Masters. Odd.

Kinda kills the Mood.

it's Talavi, BTW. It connects to the Alliance Soldier speaking with her boss about a picture that her Brother sent her before losing contact with him. ("White and yellow, ma'am". -  Cerberus' Colors) (This takes place in the Normandy Docking bay on the Citadel)

Wow, I didn't know that. I basically stopped listening to those two after my first playthrough.

Here's a question, though: are the Turian and Asari in the docking bay supposed to be the same couple as the Turian and Asari in the gift shop in ME2?

but if you listen to them long enough, you'll get a request to speed up her transfer at the Spectre terminal but it will lower your Citadel War Asset (something about shortage of engineers).

Huh, good find... It could be. Even in ME2, he said that he is an engineer that looks at ship all days.

And then in ME3 he says that Engineers aren't going in the front lines or so.

Wow...

Maybe just coincidence... Or not. There are few people on ME2 Citadel that appear on ME3 Citadel (Refund Guy and Rebekah and Michael Petrovsky)

Just by name but Jona (a quarian); his mother died on the Alarei and his father died on Rannoch. Dorn, the maintenance man. It may not be the same Jona but I assumed it was when I heard the name. (I always do get this name as a girl's name :))

In the first part of ME3, right after you step out of the Alliance building, do the jump and see the reaper fighters shooting down an Alliance fighter- if you look down into the street you can see many people running. Now, if you look carefully, every person looks exactly the same as Jack does.

So I started priority earth with only 1985 EMS and had TIM kill Anderson yet I still got the high destroy sequence, with no structural damage to earth, the normandy was damaged though and shepard obviously didn't surivive, what the hell did I do?

I guess you had the choice to control or destroy the reapers before choosing destroy. I would also guess you wanted the scene showing Earth being scorched and no one comes out of the Normandy. If so, ems has to be below 1750. Even with your ems that low, it would show Big Ben being destroyed

Just discovered something odd.

Was the PTSD soldier dialogue supposed to be at a later date? Joker says the Reapers hit Tiptree two weeks ago and you already met a commando who was there and was on active duty for three weeks without a shower. Even if we assume that the shower facilities of the transport ship broke down, she was on Tiptree for three days at least*, they had to find her, then ship her back which should take a few days and it seems that she spent a few days at the hospital.

Seems the whole Reaper war lasted only a week or so. :o

*the night she was at the farm and they ran away for two days or so.

If you use Tali as tech specialist during the suicide mission, she will made a comment about the vents during Geth Dreadnought mission.

Actually I wanted the middle destory ending, because the one I got had the Big ben intact and soldiers alive, yet I wanted the one were the soldiers are alive but the big ben is destroyed. Likewise Hackett's narration is slightly different in that he emphasises on the losses and the slide with coates is him smoking in the ruins.

Here can you see the difference

High:

Medium:

The real awkard part is that in my version the normandy part is the same as medium destroy ending while the rest is of the ending is from the high ending.
