I posted this over in 'combat and strategy' and they suggested I post it here. I'd be surprised if it isn't already mentioned, but if it is, I hope you'll forgive the duplication. The basic point is you don't have to hit 'scan' to get fuel in planetary systems. What you need to do is this: 1. When your ship moves over a fuel deposit, you get a beep indicating that the ship moved over something, a bit like when you move over a planet. I already knew this, but the bit I didn't know was ... 2. If you double click around the area where you got the beep, then you go straiight into fuel collection. There is no need to hit 'scan' at all. Hope this is of use to somebody else.

CHEATS! HACKS!  ...Ok i kid. I totally only discovered this recently (Well, the 'bleep') as well <_<

I don't remember if that's been mentioned but when you're on Menae, near the part where you meet Victus, and you still have the Blackstar, you can shoot the Reaper in the background with it. It won't even twitch but, hey, it's fun.

In ME1, you don't have to do the Citadel fight with the Geth turrets shooting at you; there's a side route.

You mean the final mission? Where is that side route?

It is off to the left after you enter the area with the turrets. I just noticed it myself in my last playthrough after having already taken out the turrets with a sniper rifle from way back at the beginning of that area. I could have just run down into that corridor and ignored them.

I was running through the Omega DLC and discovered a N7 Valkyire on the ground shortly after Nyreen joins the party the first time... this was a NG+ run.

I also found that a short while back, it was filled to the brim with Krogan Warlords though.

Cool. Use lift to get rid of them. Easy

I really missed Lift in ME2 and ME3. So much mayhem floating entire rooms of stuff along with the bad guys. I was also annoyed that Stasis wasn't available to an Adept unless you took it as a bonus power. <_<

I will admit, I had a lot of fun using lift in ME1. It would've been nice to have it in ME2/3.

I read on the net that it was possible to not recruit Archangel in ME2 by just letting him die.
This is not true.
He takes a very long time to die & when he eventually does, it's a "critical mission failure"

When standing next to Steve, when he's at the bench, or James in the cargo bay, their right arm and bodies have the same animation

What difficulty level? When I play on insanity his health can take quite a beating. I haven't lost him yet, but his health can really nose dive.

Easy.

I've never played any game on Insanity, I guess I'm just not In..clined to play that way.

Haha, that reminded me of something I saw in Vega's old thread yesterday. Him and Garrus in sync!

Yeah Lift was heller fun, even (or especially) when either Liara, Wrex or Kaidan (or two of them together) hit someone already Lifted with their Master Throw and sends them the other side of a mountain range or nearly off the map. lol

Don't get me wrong I like Pull too, but it's not quite the same thing.

Lift is better than ME2's Pull though. You don't end up with enemies behind you. Lift+Throw is my standard way of getting rid of folk on outdoors maps.

Has anyone noticed in the Mars mission, just after the chat with the Illusive Man, when Ashley (don't know if it's the same with Kaidan) is creeping up on Dr. Eva there is a 'model' of Dr. Eva holding a gun on the right hand side of the screen just before Ashley encounters Dr Eva?

Holy crap, yeah! It's the same for Kaidan.

Yup. This happens on some other occasions, but I just can't remember...

On topic:

Ok, for a non-native English Speaker, I was quite surprised to find out that the DMZ on the "Krogan DMZ" Cluster stands for Krogan Demilitarized zone. Yeah, don't judge me :P

Citadel DLC, the Pull-Up Challenge. There's actually two different sets of dialogue from James depending on which Interrupt starts first. If Renegade starts first he seems more supportive, while Paragon starts he is more 'put-down' or something... it's hard to explain. I don't even know what causes which interrupt to start first.

Good find... Perhaps your Allignment? (As if you have more Paragon than Renegade or the other way around)

PS: Can anyone tell me what actually happens if you don't do that pull up? I mean, there's got to be some dialogue if you are, like almost beating his record but fail to do the last... Maybe he says something like "Aha, almost, Loco/Lola..." Or something like it?

I was thinking the same about the Paragon/Renegade bar. I will try it out eventually (right now I try to get most of James's dialogue ).

Nothing bad happens if you don't do them. There are a few comments from James every few pull ups and at the end he's VERY impressed you actually did it, but I skipped it the last time too, haha. Never wanted to do it again, but on my current run I have/want to :D

But, here's a video with the comments someone has already posted if you're interested.

Edit: Here's a faster one :P

Dunno about alignment, unless it's over all games. The characters I play from one to three have gotten renegade, but I play a paragade type character, heavy in the paragon. This play through I took a save file from the site that shares them, seemed to be mostly paragon from what I understood, but still played similar to my usual, and she gets the paragon.

I really don't understand the logic of Pull over Lift. Why would I want enemies closer to me?

To me it was a change made for changes sake. If they wanted it why not have pull as a evolution option of Lift?
