I really don't understand the logic of Pull over Lift. Why would I want enemies closer to me?

To me it was a change made for changes sake. If they wanted it why not have pull as a evolution option of Lift?

I suspect it had to do with glitches they ran into, like enemies ending up in unreachable areas. I did not like Pull in ME2, but Pull in ME3 was much, much better. The enemies barely moved at all in ME3 vs in ME2 unless you had a team mate ready combo all you ended up with was an enemy behind you. Pull in ME3 is fairly comparable to Lift in ME1.

I prefer Pull. You can drag enemies to abyss with it. Like in tutorial mission and Grunt recruitment.

P.S. The reason for a change might be Jacob's display of biotics in prologue :D

I just discovered that if you don't use the turret on the Admiral Koris mission and hang back far enough, one of the Geth will grab the turret to use themselves. So using a turret is actually part of the enemy's AI.

If you fail when you enter the rogue AI in Overlord EDI gets taken over. Yeah, it's only my second playthrough, but I thought it was cool.

That happened to me on my first playthrough. I had no idea what was going on. I didn't know there were these orbs you were supposed to shoot, so EDI turns green and then mission failure.

Lift is better than ME2's Pull though. You don't end up with enemies behind you. Lift+Throw is my standard way of getting rid of folk on outdoors maps.

Yeah it's fun, but then I've gotta' get in the Mako and track them down. Only to have a squadmate do it again. lol

(I don't like to leave leave enemies alive  :P )

lol That's what I thought about Lash the first time I Lashed a very pissed off Phantom right in front of me.  Let's just say retreating was the better part of valour that day.

I wonder if they changed Lift because of those things we've mentioned. Those and the Lift > Benezia instakill thing.

Pull is so much effective if you have a shotgun. I've seen Jacob and Jack do it and it look fun... and fiery explosion!

Even better, hacked geth will use turrets too... Nothing beats seeing a Geth Trooper decimating Prime and Pyros with a turret :D

In my current ME3 playthrough I tried a couple of things just to satisfy my curiousity

When heading back to the Citadel after dealing with the genophage, I chose to see Dr. Bryson. The game ignored that and the coup started. Not surprising.

The other thing is after the skycar crashes, a woman is seen running to the door on the left. Shepard is not able to get past the door, but the woman can. Again I wasn't surprised. It was funny to watch though. Seeing the woman run by while Shepard can't

Yeah, it's awkward seeing Shepard trying to enter doors that will close but it's blocked by the "Black Wall".

Huh... I actually saw them doing this in my first playthrough, and the ones after that. But still, good find! :)

I don't mean when you first enter the area. There is always a geth already on the turret when you enter the area. I mean after assigning a team mate to deal with the AA gun, one of your squad mates will tell you to use the turret. If you don't, and you are far enough away from it, then a geth will grab it. I had always run right for the turret after assigning a squad mate to the gun so I had never seen them grab a turret at that point since I was already using it. But I was watching a playthrough on youtube where the player held way back from the turret rather than using it.

Changes to the game mechanics. If you try to use Instant-cast powers (such as Slam, Overload, Reave, Energy Drain) on enemies ducking behind cover, the power will hit cover. Projectile powers (such as Throw, Pull, Incinerate) can be curved around cover to hit enemies hiding behind cover.

Pull will pull enemies towards you, but only if you hit them directly. I tend to curve my Pulls, so I pull the enemies up and away.

At the beginning of ME2 after being wakened up by Miranda, she tells you to run when the fire is in front of you causing no damage or at least very little damage, but on Sur'Kesh, when seeing the Yahg run away, Shepard can'r run through the fire.

After healing Wilson, he will be seen having a similiar animation as when the player controls Joker  when the collectors board the SR2, but when he draws his weapon, he's able to move with no problem

Did the mechanic on Horizon say "comm stopped working a few hours ago," in english too?*  This would mean that you arrived shortly after the Collectors. I mean real short.

*neutral dialogue. he doesn´t say it if you chose paragon.

I've finally confirmed that if you don't bring your LI to the clone fight in the Citadel DLC, they have something unique to say.

Liara and Ashley seem to have dialogue priority over the dextro LIs, so if you romanced Garrus or Tali you'll have to bring both along to hear it.

Here's Tali's dialogue for comparison:

On a side note, Vanguard is a ton of fun for this fight.

Not on insanity, lol. Seriously, Vanguard is my class of choice. I totally crush the entire game on insanity with vanguard. There are only two difficult parts - the first is Grissom, the second is that ****** clone fight.

Fighting the 3 Primes can be tricky and the other spot is in London with all the banshees can also give folks a problem

If you were like me, in one of your ME2 playthroughs you didnt fully lock in the romance with Tali and then you edit the ME3 save so that you are romancing Tali 2 things happen.

1.) When the admirals board the Normandy Tali wont say "Shepard" she will instead introduce herself with her whole name.

2.) When invited up to your cabin she wont say "Keelah Shepard im not going to beg" but will instead say she needs to return to the admirals.

Everything else is the same though as if you romanced from the beginning.

Thought this was odd since i thought the game only looked for the romance flag, it seems it looks at other things as well

I jusr recruited Garrus, and for the first time I decided to let him die during the mission. I took my time closing the shutters while he was taking damage. After about 30 minutes, his health was still at the same level, I decided to close the last shutter. I let Garm go after Garrus. We killed all the other and watched Garrus and Garm fight. Eventually Garrus was killed. What I found surprising is that Garm and Garrus were at close range that Garrus  kept using his sniper rifle. I figured he would've switched to an assault rifle

In the cutscene on Eden Prime when you look out over the field where Sovereign landed you can see the imprint of one of Sovereign's "feet." It is the triangular shaped depression at the bottom of the screen in this video at 11:19.
