Little thing I just discovered. It seems that installing Origin will screw around even with an already installed steambased ME 1. Opening an old save before I had ME 3 resulted in: "Compatibility issue. You don´t have Bring down the sky installed."

Yeah. <_< Little Cerberus spyware installed on my PC, it was. Luckily I had the DLC lying around somewhere.

This is not something I've recently discovered but it made me think of this thread when I got there recently again during my last playthrough. You know, I'm probably totally blind but, during my first playthrough of the franchise, I didn't at all notice there was a window on the ceiling above Shepard's bed until I got to my LI's bedscene before Cerberus HQ in ME3. So... yeah... I went through both whole ME2 and most of ME3 having no idea it was there... then my character got rolled over and "Whoa, has this been there the entire time?!" Talk about an exciting night.

Awesome thing for Cerberus to do for someone who's been spaced, amiright?

Yeah, no kidding. Hello, trauma, my old friend. The view is pretty, though.

Kind of how I felt when I found out Shepard's cabin had a bathroom in ME2.

Well, if the topic is being blind, I only recently realized that Tali´s arm in ME 1 wasn´t some exotic armor design but a cyberarm.

That took me a long time, too! And I can only thank the space hamster for that, otherwise I might have never found out. That actually happened during my second playthrough, lol. (Didn't have a hamster in the first one.)

when using the cain against the reaper in ME2, it will take more damage if the round hits it in the yellow spot on its chest than if the round hits any other spot

After playing through the suicide mission a number of times in the last day, at least 7 squadmates have to be loyal for all to survive if everyone is recruited

I tried with only having 5 loyal and always had one die while holding the line. The same for having 6 loyal

Did you know Garrus will die holding the line before Samara, Thane and Legion even though he is stronger than them? It happened to me a short time ago.

The only reason I knew that is because of this. I thought it was surprising when I read the order.

I knew about that and figured it was a misprint. That chart may want to be updated. Have Garrus at 1 point instead of 3 points

If the kill order is dependant on Defensive value.

When I took James and Javik with me today to the Citadel coup, it was the same that happened with Kaidan, except who shoots Ash is really glitched and you don't see who shoots (exactly as you said, Mike :(), but the game treats it as if Javik took the shot, I got his dialogue again. I don't know what else to try out so I'll guess I just give up now. Though it will bother me forever I couldn't find a way to get James to shoot  It's so weird because everything points to him taking the shot when he's teamed up with Javik, he's in all the right places the shooter is supposed to be, but then he never does it. Such a bummer.

At the beginning of ME2, Joker will say "Brace for evasive manuevers" just before the collector ship fires, and when being attacked by the Oculus after going through the Omega 4 relay, Joker will say "Taking evasive manuevers"

In ME2, Shepard gets an E-Mail about the Vorcha being encountered for the first time by an Alliance Team in 2184, but in the movie Paragon Lost, James and his team have contact with them.

That part is set sometime in 2183, shortly after the Normandy's Destruction.

When playing the Turian Platoon mission and you let the Harvester destroy the first turian pod, each squad mate except EDI has to say something about it. Not sure if anyone tried yet to see them all, but here they are ;)

Ash: Tough one, Shepard.

Kaidan: Frustrating we couldn't save those guys.

Garrus: That Harvester was brutal.

Liara: Feels terrible that we couldn't save those men.

James: Damn Harvester. Wish we could've saved those guys!

Javik: It did not end too well for the turians.

Interestingly enough, it seems when a new squad mate is paired with an old one, the old squad mate always says the sentence. If only new ones are taken to the mission, James will say the sentence when paired with either EDI or Javik, and Javik only with EDI.

That must have taken a long time. It takes the Harvester a long time to actually destroy the pod... I think. I usually kill the Harvester pretty quick so i would have no idea.

It's okay-ish, takes less than a minute (not sure if it's slower on lower difficulties, have only tried it on Insanity).

Yeah, I usually also go right at it, but I was wondering what would happen if you let the Harvester take down the pod (since I wanted to get more James dialogue ).

The dialogue with Victus will be a little different if a pod is destroyed.

Victus: Thank you for saving my men.

Turian soldier: What's left of them.

I just found out (I believe) that Jaroth (the leader of the Eclipse on Omega that you fight during the Archangel mission) has the Geth Shield Boost ability. This is not listed on the wiki as one of his powers, but I am pretty sure I caught him in the act of actively renewing his shields the way a geth would.

If you go and dance in ME1 (not with your LI, but by pressing "interact"-buuton when looking at Doran on the dancefloor) and didn't put your weapon on your back, Shepard does the Shepard Shuffle while being armed.

Oh man, I need to try this out.
