It could have been a glitch in my game, because I couldn't find any similar info about it while googling. I'm pretty curious now if it's supposed to be like that or not, going to try triggering it again.I don't believe this is true, at least not on the xbox. I almost always end up having a platform destroyed on me and just end up on a different platform (causing severe disorientation at first).

I'm on PS3 and so far I only left the middle platform once in my 3 playthroughs, and when I did, that the platform I was on fell down and I also landed on the next platform, getting me killed afterwards though (as cap says, it's damn disorienting, also when you can't find cover quick enough that's it for Shep
). It annoyed me so much I'll never leave the middle section again I guess.
But yeah, I also didn't fall to my death. Could be that you experienced a glitch, and my 1 time surely doesn't prove anything, but I reckon it is not supposed to happen that you fall down like that.

I can't remember if I already posted this here before, but the Human Reaper larva has an insta-kill attack. One of their attacks is to destroy one of the platforms on the side, so if you're on one of those while he attacks, you'll fall to your death.
Took me at least 4 playthroughs to find that out, since I usually stick to the middle platform.
The only insta-kill the reaper did to me was firing its chest weapon. I made the mistake of getting out of cover as it fired its weapon. With the platform, 99.99999% of the time, I stay on the middle platform

Something I suppose I should have known but did not:
When using Stasis as a bonus power in ME3, Cerberus Guardian's riot shields will block Stasis unless you take the Bubble evolution.
That got me killed more than once until I respecced into Bubble.

I went back to fight the human reaper again and paid attention to his platform destroying attack. When his health is down to 2/3, he destroys a platform in the back (the lower left platform). When he's down to 1/3, he destroys the other platform (lower right). I stood on that platform while he destroyed it and got pushed to the platform in front (see screenshot). It seems falling from the platform isn't supposed to happen so that must've been a glitch the other day. The reaper only destroys these two platforms. (Which is too bad, it could've made things a bit more exciting, I think.)

Also, fun fact, the reaper actually uses its spine to destroy these platforms.

Gives new meaning to 'rip your spine out and beat you to death with it'.
It's like Buffy says - you can use anything as a weapon. ![]()

A quick google lead to this. ME3 leaked script
"The hearing is a witch hunt; nobody seems interested in the truth. Even with Anderson defending you, it's clear the leaders won't listen to reason."

Also If I remember correctly; with a 50% readiness, the Citadel was damaged once and the Reapers repaired it (Control again). This time it didn't happen. It was closed fully and only the Charon Relay was destroyed.
I also realized that Joker is very calm while he is getting the Normandy out of the war zone away from the energy dispersal, unlike the Destroy ending.

Once I was on a platform it destroyed and I fell. After that I wasn't leaving the middle platform; only except to find ammo. But if you say it was a glitch....
Also I haven't seen the scene on that angle before. It never occurred to me that it uses it's spine to attack. I thought it was its arms

Readiness has nothing to do with the Citadel having any damage. In destroy and synthesis, the crucible explodes after firing.
This time it didn't happen. It was closed fully and only the Charon Relay was destroyed.
In control the Citadel takes no damage and the arms are seen being closed. The only time the relay is seen being destroyed is if ems is below 2600. That only applies to destroy and control.
I also realized that Joker is very calm while he is getting the Normandy out of the war zone away from the energy dispersal, unlike the Destroy ending.
Joker will always be in panic mode when the beam is chasing him if ems is below 2600 regardless if control or destroy is chosen. If ems is over 2600, he will remain calm while the beam is chasing the Normandy
Here's a post about ems. A couple of the points in the post mention what you posted

It's not just that the beam is 'chasing' the Normandy. It's that the mass effect FTL "tunnel" the Normandy is in is collapsing behind the ship. Look closely at the background stars.
And the original intent was to have the Normandy destroyed. The low EMS cutscene (which originally was the ONLY one that played in all endings regardless of EMS) has the Normandy breaking up catastrophically. Even though the cutscene is abruptly ended, you can still see the Normandy's right-side engines exploding, the wing starting to come off, and the ship itself twisting around.

Low ems, if you're referring to ems below 1750 and destroy the only ending, shows the thrusters being ripped from the fuselage, and then the door to the Normandy not opening suggesting that all on board are dead.
If ems is below 2600, which is not low ems, not only is Joker in panic mode, but the thrusters are ripped away from the fuselage. The problem I have with that is the fuselage ends up on the unknown planet in one piece instead of being in many pieces with the crew dead.
So in the original ending, regardless of ems, everyone on board should be dead with the Normandy scattered all over the place in pieces on the unknown planet

Amazes me how bugged ME2 is. Last night's delight: frozen animations whilst still being able to move and fire.

If you choose Jack for the bubble in the Collector base in ME2, she mentions it in Mass Effect 3, and makes a joke about Mordin.

Another great example of squad AI - Tali deciding to take some time off.

Also, had an amusing bit where Shep says to the Urdnot scout - "Are you going to sit there whining like a Quarian with a stomach ache" and Tali goes "I'm right here!".
Made me snort, that did.

I've tried to get that line multiple times, never managed it. Is it the Renegade path to motivate the scout? I don't usually have enough.

Bugged cutscene seemingly caused by Varren:

On load from a save the sick krogan is selectable despite having already buggered off:

Again, not entirely sure what Tali is up to here - she literally just ran off to the top level before running all the way back again:

Replayed the Ardat-Yakshi Monastery a couple of times today, here are some things I discovered:
-EDI is the only one who doesn't trip over something when entering the dark room at the beginning.
-When meeting Samara, EDI is the only one that doesn't say anything to or about her. James makes a funny remark here and asks if Shepard knows everyone they run into. ![]()
-After fighting the first Banshee, Tali and James mention Liara and how they're glad she's not here to see this.
-When investigating the dead asari soldier shortly before taking the elevator to the Great Hall, James will drop an F-bomb when paired with Garrus ![]()
-When seeing the bomb and Falere, EDI's and Shepard's dialogue differs a bit from all others. EDI says "The bomb appears intact." and Shepard answers "So does Falere."
All other squad mates simply state "There's the bomb", and Shepard says "And Falere."
-In the Great Hall, if Samara is not present, James is the only one who doesn't talk to Falere in order to tell her that Rila has begun turning into a Banshee.
-If Samara shoots herself at the end of the mission, each squad mate except EDI will say something about Samara's death, trying to comfort Falere. Falere has a unique answer for everyone.
-The dialogue when Shepard calls in Cortez at the end of the mission changes depending on whether Samara still lives, if Falere was let go, or if Falere was killed at the end.
-Back on the Normandy when talking to Cortez and he says he worries about Shepard, James asks if Cortez worries about him too if James was brought to the monastery mission. Nice touch ![]()

And Cortez's dialogue also changes slightly depending if you are romancing him (as a Male Shepard obviously) or not.
For a non-romance, he says "The next time you blow up a monastery, let me know when you leave the premises, okay? I worry about you."
For a romance, he says "The next time you blow up a monastery, let me know when you leave the premises, okay? My heart stopped until I heard your voice on the comm again."
