"Yeah Yeah, Krogans are strong, we get it!"
Something Zaeed says if you take him to recruit Okeer/Grunt, never did that before that i can remember!
"I kept thinking, let the Salarian handle it. He can talk 'em to death." is a standard part of Jack's dialog, regardless of how The Long Walk played out.

I feel I miss out on a lot of stuff from Zaeed and Kasumi. I hate the placement of the squad portraits right on Shepard's bottom and so found a mod to remove them for the main cast but it never worked for the DLC characters (would just crash when I tried it).
Sad really that I've likely missed so much dialogue because of a cosmetic issue.

I feel like I miss out on a lot of characters too since I usually stick with the same 3-4 squadmates each playthrough. (Mordin, Miranda, Thane, and Jack).
I'd say it is from/for Chakwas, she also has a gun lying around next to her in sickbay.
I guess its just a small something to show how the collector abduction affected her.
(It's rather awesome, imo that someone thought of this!)
If you give Administrator Anoleos Opold's package in exchange for the garage pass the first time you talk to him, Gianni Parsini will not tell you about Lorik Quin and Lorik Quin will not tell you about his Synthetic Insights problem. That will lock you out of going up to Synthetic Insights (and getting the XP).
Discovering that meant I wasted 30 minutes and now I have to restart Noveria again.

That is strange
I did the exact same thing with my FemShep and gave Anoleis the package first, got the garage pass, then apparently I did the asari quest first and got the Lorik Quin quest by talking to him (I just checked my write-up for that part
). He said he had evidence that Anoleis is corrupt and I could play out the quest normally, with Parasini appearing afterwards.
Maybe that was just a bug for you? It's annoying of course, but maybe something didn't trigger for you properly. Or... even though I can't imagine that's the reason, the asari quest has to be done too, but I assume you did that one anyway?

I believe you can still go do Quin's quest. I am pretty sure I remember going to Peak 15 first one time, and then coming back and doing Quin's quest afterwards.
Here are two posts in this thread related to doing Quin's quest after going to Peak 14: finding out you can do Quin's quest afterwards; and finding out that if you do it in this order then you cannot use the persuade option with Quin to tell him about Parasinni.
Kinda interesting that Mark Meer was actually married to the voice actor for Rana Tanoptis..... and I always let him kill her........ O_o

Yep, It was always the same for me. (Bolded the important part)
..

I restarted Noveria, and made sure to hold off giving him Opold's package until after I convinced Quin to testify.

I gave him the package, then got the pass, talked to the mechanic Li about SI, then confronted Lorik about it and then got him to testify after recovering his information and meeting Gianni on my way out.
I didn't realize that Tali's dialogue when getting her loyalty mission would be different if you had not talked to her previously on the Normandy, but it is.
Spoiler
Does the in-mission dialogue change too? For example, when Shepard asks Raan about Rael Zorah, Tali will still say that "it is okay, I think I've mentioned him to Shepard in the past"
The news announcer on Omega refers to Shepard as a 'he' even if you are Femshep.
Okay, just confirming that Aria is indeed a Matriarch.
"Have I been that hard to read?"
"I have lived for a thousand years, Shepard. And you maybe the most powerful and baffling being I have ever encountered."

Yes, Aria, this girl is a dangerous woman. Don't play play.
And the funny thing, RedCaesar, is that even if you never spoke with Giana and she never revealed to be an undercover agent (because you just obtained the garage pass by giving out the package) she will still confront you in ME2 by accusing you of disrupting her investigation. A lapse of attention by the writers.
I just realized that on ME2 first stage when you enter the hangar if you go to the lower level you can see plenty of cerberus shuttles lying around. I don´t know if they depart while you are on the way to meet miranda -there never mention other survivors and miranda accuses wilson of killling her staff (all of them aside from jacob?) - or if they are in need of repairs, but Miranda states that theres only one shuttle remaining when you reach her. I dont know if wilson had the mechs damaging all the other shuttles or if at least some people aboard survived by escaping. But it seems rather incompetent - even for cerberus - to have only only one functional shuttle in a station that houses what? dozens of people?

That actually seems rather in line for Cerberus. If the project does not kill them, kill the project staff anyway.
I just realized that in Mass Effect 2, if you go to the lower section of the engineer deck prior to recruiting jack you can see that theres already a place designed for her to sleep.
I guess TIM and Miranda are really good at predicting people´s behavior. They already knew she would want a place like that so they made arrangements for her arrival.
I'm currently watching a ME2 playthrough on YT, and someone in the comments section pointed out that there are 3 creepy figures standing in the water just at the beginning of the Freedom's Progress mission. So this is not my discovery, but I thought I'd share it anyway, maybe it's news to someone too ![]()
It's really f*cking creepy. Sorry for the quality of the screenshot, had to brighten it up a lot in order to see them.
If anyone wants to see it in the game, it's right by the shuttle where you start, right side next to the boxes there.

Hard to be sure from the screen shot, but I am guessing those are Jacob and Miranda dopplegangers. I can't see the third person.
