Yes although I never thought of Saren. I just figured that if Shepard wasn't going to rewrite the geth heretics then he/she wasn't going to rewrite the whole freakin' galaxy. B)

lol I only noticed the Saren thing when I kept trying to convince him to join me. He spoke of combing organics and synthetics and to create peace, etc... it's like he was the green choice in ME3.

Found this last night.

So in the fight of Chora's Den where Tali is and you have to fight the assassins, apparently, if your health gets low enough, Tali will use her own medi-gel to heal up.

Pretty cool, probably even saved my life.

Been awhile!!!

So i got back to my modded ME3 and started fooling around with me3 explorer!! I got to play with the enemy spawn set on some levels. Got it to spawn a ton of banshees to see if my damage changes to the powers I have done take effect. Apparently I discovered that DOT can actually para-flinch bosses as well if they do enough damage.

I just realized in a funny sort of way (and it's something I discovered, but others probably noticed it long before I did lol)

Control = the path TIM took

Synthesis = the path Saren wanted to take

Destroy = ??? I would say the only path never before taken by those who spent a long time around Reaper artifacts

When the Catalyst is describing each ending and talking about Destroy, the cutscene video shows Anderson walking forward shooting the tubes. So I think of Destroy as Anderson's ending.

I just finish ME2. Grunt held the line by himself without being loyal. Not sure if Garrus and Zaeed can do the same. I might play ME2 again to find out. I know all 3 can hold the line by themselves if loyal.

Well, I won't read through all 199 pages. So I don't know if this has been already mentioned.

But yesterday I started a new run of ME2 and made it my business to peruse every dialogue option available. I played that game to death, back in the days, but I never once thought about actually talking to Joker and EDI in the cockpit. They always have something new to say when asked how things are. Their stormy relationship really starts to unfold through these dialogues.

Yes. Garrus and Zaeed and Grunt all have a base defense score of 3, which allows them to hold the line by themselves, even if they are not loyal.

Even when Samara, Miranda, Legion, Jacob and Thane are loyal, they can't hold the line by themselves even though the chart says that if anyone has a defense score of 2, he/she will survive.

Its also interesting that Garrus, having a base score of 3, will die before Samara, Legion and Thane who have a base score of 1

In ME3, after rescuing Zaal Koris, Shepard, Legion, Tali and Ran talk about how the Reaper code has benefited the Geth. I previously took the Renegade path with Han Gerrel and punched him after the Geth dreadnought mission.

Shepard: "Maybe the Geth don't all have to die."

Ran: "Just because this one appears friendly..."

Shepard: "Well, it hasn't fired on a ship with me aboard it."

I don't remember ever getting that dialogue. Sweet find!

When talking to Gavorn for the first time, he laughs when being asked by Shepard about what the Vorcha are planning. IDK what it triggers this (I think doing Blood Pack related assignments), but if you talk to him again, Shepard will ask if the Vorcha will still be any trouble, and this time, Gavorn won't reply with a laugh.

So, instead of delivering the Packages to Ish, you can instead deliver them to Anto (Aria's Batarian Henchman)

"I hope the Alliance would take this meeting seriously. Instead they send me a woman, are we suppose to use your assets to win concession from me?"

Sigh, why FemShep always get to meet with some idiot who think she's a *****? but yay, can kill him.

To be fair, Darius calls Male Shepard "a dumb grunt", so clearly they're portraying it as if most male combat troops are of low intelligence.

But does it make it okay for female soldiers to be referred to as a slu? Thrice in the trilogy even. (goddamn profanity filter)

Like it or not, some people do think like that about women, no matter their accomplishments. Sometimes realistic elements in games are distasteful.

I don't think we can expect any better from a megalomaniacal Warlord who's got the entire Alliance by the balls with regards to eezo mining.

It says more about him than it does about Shep. If he wants to lose his bits by making snap judgements about Shepard (renegade at that) he's welcome.

Personally, I don't really mind that FemShep was being slutshamed at the first glance. It is expected, after all, she is in a career (and in a genre) still dominated by men and I like that the writers didn't create a narrative bubble that make her immune from that brunt. But it is ironic since she did became the most powerful and influential human woman in the galaxy...

But does this still make her an equal to BroShep? ... I don't think BroShep was ever being referred to as manwhore in-game.

Oh, I forgot that time with that horny turian on Omega who went after her thinking she's easy. Four times now?

It's kind of fitting at the beginning of the Archangel mission. Shepard also gets the opportunity for a red interrupt at that point.

I guess, it all depends on how your PC is able to react to what's said to her. Not what's actually said.

Look at real life. Men are shamed in different ways that are equally primitive. Such as calling them them gay. Happened to me a few times IRL. I'm pointing it out, since it says a whole lot more about the one insulting than the one on the receiving end. I'm not gay, but I don't really care if being called gay.

Oh, and could you point me to the horny Turian? I never ever encountered him in all my playthroughs.

If only it was that easy. But I think what FemShep experienced is probably the tip of the iceberg. Even as a renegade, she didn't respond aggressively to anyone who mouth her off unless they approach her and trying to inflict harm on her.

When you're doing Samara's loyalty quests as a FemShep, at the dance floor, you'll overhear a drunken turian harassing an Asari dancer. If you choose to intervene, the turian take on look at FemShep and harass her instead and FemShep will give him a knock out punch.

Wait what? FemShep is not being ****-shamed. She's being harassed. That's different. It's not necessarily better, but it's a distinct difference. And "hur dur assets" isn't even a very good method of harassment. I mean, that's just worthy of an eye-roll, not a bullet to the brain.

Ah, that. I didn't associate it with horny Turian, since he gets punched anyway.

To me, it looks like he was taking FemShep as a sex offering. Even the entire paragon bit was really humiliating.

and it was really really long discussion (with silent squadmates with a guy repetitively gloating how he was glorious that Alliance have to bow to him in submission and call him Lord......  fortunately, Hackett did send you to kill him anyway.

He didn't actually believe she was a sex offering. He was being a pig sure, but the idea that he legitimately thought that the Alliance had not only sent a negotiator but also someone for him to bang is kind of outlandish.
