lol I love that one! The first time I played ME I tried to be nice to the council, but in my last playthrough I disconnected a few times and Joker tells Liara about it in ME3 and she goes "Shepard did what!?" Never got that one before

I seem to keep getting that statement, even if I do not hang up on the council.

I get that as well even when I don't talk with them

Fem Shep's conversation with Harkin is just gold, especially when she pulls a gun on his crotch at the end.

In Leviathan, if you've chosen a custom appearance for EDI, it will be applied the first two times you visit Bryson's lab, but the third time (where Shepard speaks to Leviathan via Ann), EDI will appear in her default outfit - regardless of what customized appearance you've chosen.

It seems to be a bit buggy. One time I didn't get it even though I did hang up on them. The one I always get though no matter what is Joker telling me we can hang up on them  over old times sake, but Joker telling Liara I did that doesn't always connect with what I did in ME1.

Yeah. I got Joker wondering whether I wanted him to call the Council just so I could hang up on them for 'old time's sake.' But I never hung up on them in my current Paragon play through. And that occurred when I talked to him in the cockpit. He did not say that to Liara when I first visited her.

I just discovered there's a second way into Saren's base on Virmire. I would *never* have thought to look there; a door inside the base glitched and allowed itself to be opened, and then I just followed this new path that I'd never seen before.. and came out through the sewers where the back door is. There were a few salarians and a bunch of crates hidden behind the stairwell.

I can't believe how many playthroughs it was before I discovered that entrance. Must have been twenty at least.

I usually end up following the tunnels to go out that way (and then backtrack) but I never remember to go in that way in the first place. Would doing that bypass all the ways to help the salarian squads?

This is the only path I take, since my first playthrough

Is that the door at the staircase in thw lab with salarians? Holy crap I could never go through it and always wondered why.

Taking that path does not bypass all the ways to help the salarians, though you could choose not to destroy the comm antenna. The refueling station is optional, and you do avoid the alarm choice by going in the sewers.

No because by that time, you should have helped them 3 times...the fourth(and final time) being just at the second door to unlock. One squad member will ask a question.

Talked to the indoctrinated Salarians?

The alarm choice: "Disable the alarms or set off the alarms on the other side of the base" happens after you enter the upper door into Saren's base. Going through the basement avoids that choice.

No it doesn't.

I think it has to do with when you go visit Liara. If you go speak to Joker in the cockpit first, he says 'I could call up the council so you can hang up on them just for old time's sake' but doesn't mention it to Liara when you overhear their conversation afterward. If you go see her first, you overhear their conversation and he mentions to her that they might just be trying to get revenge for those times that Shep hung up on them.

You can still do all the help for the Salarians and the Alarm bit still happens, though of course at a different terminal.

In ME1, I went to Anoleis to tell him that I have Qui'in's evidence against him. He offerd to buy it from me and I said "No deals" (which ends the conversation). When I talked to him again and asked him what he might give me in exchange for the evidence he offered one of his "substantial bonuses".

At this point I had two greyed out persuasion options (paragon: "I'll hold on to it" and renegade: "Now you'll do as I say"). However, both my charm and my intimidate skills were maxed out, so how come they were grey? Do you have to choose certain dialogue options before in order to have these persuasions available? I wasn't aware of any circumstance in the trilogy where this is the case except for Saren and TIM.

That's... odd. Never heard of that happening before. Weird.

Probably more to do with the fact that I'm an absent-minded ****** and less with it being little:

I have played through ME2 several times and just now realized I could go talk with Joker anytime and ask his opinion about the last two squadmates I went out with. I somehow always forgot about him in my previous playthroughs.

Yep. would be interesting to see if someone can replicate it (it's why I described it in so much detail). The only mod I am using is MEUTIM, so I don't think it's that.
What I did before:
- Mostly paragon stuff
- After talking to to Qui'in and getting the Sznthetic Insights quest, I gave Anoleis Opolt's package and convinced him to let ,e keep the mod (paragon), so I already had a garage pass
- Despite that I finished Qui'in's synthetic insights quest, talked to Parasini, convinced Qui'in to testify and then confronted Anoleis.

Maybe it's because I already helped Parasini? That would kind of make sense actually. I can't hold the evidence over Anoleis' head anymore because I already betrayed him anyway. Would be cool if the game picks up on that.

Instead of talking, try just standing behind him for 2 minutes. :D

I just went right ahead to try this. He started ranting about Illusive Man's eyes and then tried to imitate a horse or something. "Pbbb bb bbb bbb."

This game.... :D

I'll now have to remember to do this regularly when I once again start a new character.

If you don't kill Anoleis in Noveria, after you destroy peak 15, you can speak to Anoleis again, and he will offer to pay you to tell him what happened. After that, he will send a team to get DNA samples from the site.
