A few weeks back someone on this thread mentioned seeing 3 figures below a building on Freedom's Progress at the beginning of ME2.  I've just got there myself and had a look, turning up the brightness gave me a better view and they didn't look like copies of Miranda and Jacob like people thought they might be.

They look more like husks, or like the people who've been put in stasis by the Collectors on Horizon.  I've taken a shot and messed with the settings so you can see them clearly.

Also, each has a lighted gadget in their hands that blinks when the camera moves.

Very odd, I wanted to share it though in case you guys had any more thoughts on it.

Omg maybe they're taking selfies, or are holding up their phones at a rock concert.

That is f---ing creepy. Reminds me of that IT video I watched (omg what a waste of an hour) where if you looked closely the bodies piled up on the beam run are all Ashleys and Kaidans. The devs are twisted.

Because of their armors? I thought they're just reused from the Collector's Ship. Might as well say all Turian reapers look like Garrus or all Banshees looks like Liara.

Played the Extract Turian Survivors mission with Tali and Ashley after completing Priority: Rannoch.

Went down to visit Tali, and Tali and EDI (on the intercom) were having a very lengthy argument about how Tarquin Victus's situation with his Primarch father was similar to Tali's with her father.

I've never heard this before in over 10 playthroughs. Of course, it's the first time I've saved this mission for after Priority: Rannoch. Strange how just altering the order of things can sometimes provide you with new results.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I just did my first playthrough where Javik was my main squaddie (I'm not really a fan but I thought I should give him a chance) and when I spoke to him in London, he said something different. Instead of saying he'll go to some nebula and die, he said he wanted to see the galaxy and go to Khaje where the hanar would welcome him... or something.

I didn't catch it all because I started to skip because I thought I'd heard it before and thought it was depressing but now I've missed him saying something positive for a change.

Oh well, back to engineering with you, Jav.

His dialogue in London depends on if he touched the shard or not

I think I found Mass Effect 3 the other extended cut ending.

and at the prison ship Purgotary, if you leave the mech to blow up on its own, it take everyone with it in huge explosion. lol

Also depends on post-Thessia scene with Liara.

So all those times I was playing a paragon Shep and thought he needed to face his emotions I was basically leading him to suicide but my RenShep who couldn't care less tells him to leave the past in the past, which leads to him having a bright and happy future?

Huh.

There really are some little things left to discover. For me, anyway. It's probably been brought up a hundred times before.

First time reading about that. What changes the dialogue when talking with her?

I just completed an ME2 playthrough, and for the first time ever, I had Garrus, Zaeed and Grunt by themselves holding the line.

During their fight scene, if you use the interrupt, and Javik didn't use the shard, he and Liara will write a book post-game. If you don't interrupt the fight and Javik didn't use the shard is what mrjack posted, living with Hanar (didn't get that one myself yet though).

Didn't know that.  Most of the time I just go straight to the galaxy map to head to the next mission

I am currently running through ME1 to set up a NG+. To make things go faster, I set difficulty to casual and I am running past most fights to get to the next cutscene. I am only bothering to kill enemies when it is necessary to get to the next cutscene. So when I landed on Feros I ran past all the geth that you run into after getting off the ship and went straight to Zhu's Hope. After finishing up the mission (go to Exogeni HQ, then deal with the Thorian) I returned to the Normandy and found the geth I had run past when I first arrived were still there.

Yep. That has happened to me a couple of times when I rush through the game

That's why the thread is called "the little things you just discovered".

And every now and then, someone posts something they just discovered, and then you discover it from reading their post.

Follow-up: brought both Tali and Ashley to the Turian Bomb mission. After the mission, Tali and Ashley (on Intercom) have a lengthy conversation about how this mission reminds them of Virmire, and how both this mission and Virmire are different from their losses on Haestrom and Eden Prime.

Tali's dialogue with Ashley varies a tiny bit depending on whether you bring both Tali and Ashley on the mission, just Ashley, or just Tali. If both Ashley and Tali are on the mission, Ashley will say "didn't you hear me tell Shepard that." and Tali will respond "no, I was distracted."

This is interesting. I'm going to have to do this my next playthrough.

Not exactly about Mass Effect games but I play SWTOR mostly for the familiar voice actors. I found Courtenay Taylor (Jack) at Alderaan's Bonus Series and Daniel Riordan (Primarch Victus) in Corellia for Consular's arc. So exciting.

So, Kirahee died on our way into the base on Virmire. Yet when I went up to the AAA tower to rescue Ashley, there he was. Except, he was just standing there holding an assault rifle but not firing it and not moving. Pressing the talk button didn't do anything either. Was Shepard being haunted by Kirahee's ghost for not doing more to keep him alive?

If you see a smuggler with the legacy name Quib'Quib that's me. Say hi.

I also found Balak and General Oraka. Of course Jen is the female trooper.
