I decided to go Renegade with the merc by the window on Thane's Recruitment Mission WITHOUT pushing him through it. I thought the dialogue was pretty badass and liked it more than the interrupt where you actually do push him through the window.

Same here! I picked that option the last time and I thought it was way better than pushing that merc out of the window. It was sooo good! ![]()

Wow... That was actually really badass... Now, i have to decide which i like better >.< but throwing him off has that whole "goodbye" line.... <.<
I've always knew this since the first time I play the game but apparently it was news to a lot of people when I said that the Asari have scales....
and the Asari felt like leather? Really? I don't even have hots for the Asari but LEATHER? These ladies... felt like dead animal skin?
.... ... ... urgh
and also, the STG base on Sur'kesh is kinda like Niagara Falls. Never actually seen the scale of it.

I've just noticed that the asteroids rotate in the Galaxy Map in ME3. All this time playing the game and never noticed that ![]()
I just noticed that I thought I knew the MP maps. I was wrong.
This video is quite long but worth watching.
A couple things that never experienced in any previous playthroughs.
On Mars, just as I was about to shoot evabot as it runs towrds me, I hit the wrong button causing me to use warp. Didn't do any damage.
The other is on Sur"Kesh. I was standing behind Wiks, when I looked to the right, if facing Wiks, and saw the reticle. I got closer to it saying Vista. I activated it causing Javik to mention something about one his planets during his time. James asked him about it.

Yeah, I think that part of the game is programmed specifically to work with just the Predator and no other weapons or powers. The first time I played ME3, I switched pistols on Mars for the Eagle I picked up. I was at the point of frustration when I repeatedly watch Eva kill Shepard after being unable to take her down with the Eagle. I had to do a Google search to figure out what I did wrong, and realized I needed the Predator for that scene... causing me to repeat the entire mission since I didn't have any saves at that point. I've read similar stories with other pistols, including "better" ones like the Paladin.

This one surprised me. I would have thought this would be old news to a player as experienced as you. (I only found out about that talk point a while back, probably by reading this thread. I didn't find it on my own, that's for sure.)

I don't understand. The Eagle works just fine for me. I have had problems with the Suppressor since you can fire off your entire clip during Eva's brief window of invulnerability and be forced to reload. Many people have also had problems with the Executioner because it is a one shot weapon with a long reload time. But the Eagle should be fine.

Well, it didn't work for me since I died about a dozen times *shrugs*. Maybe it was bad luck but I was really trying to kill her during that cutscene. When I started Mars over with the Predator I killed her on the first try so I just assumed it was the Eagle.

*makes a note to pick Javik up earlier on my next ME3 pt
Oh I'm surprised this thread is still going. Not that I'm complaining, I keep finding new things.
While it's not quite new, I never really knew what happened when you didn't "convince Saren he was wrong." Didn't quite expect a sudden fight, nor did I expect him to fall through the glass like that.
I had also never experienced saving the Council (in general really. Giving me so many reasons to watch 'em burn,) and appointing Anderson together. Maybe there was another factor that triggered it, but Anderson's little speech was real motivating to me.
And finally, I had no idea the Salarians on Virmire hitch a ride on the Normandy afterwards. Went down into the cargo hold to sell Ashley's stuff after she died, turned around and there was a squad of Salarians looking at me funny. Got some nice dialogue from Kirrahe out of it though.

That dialogue prompt is there whether you have Javik or not. Each team mate has different things to say about the beauty of Surkesh.

When I start a new playthrough of ME3, I have to decide when I recruit Javik- before or after the Coup (for the extra dialogue with the VS). I'm still unsure if it's worth waiting or not because Javik does have a lot of interesting things on the missions.

Where do you have to be to get this to happen? I thought I went through everything, and I just did that part yesterday.

The Executioner is the one pistol that I failed to take down the evabot. I had to reload to an earlier save to switch weapons.
I am replaying ME2, and just went to visit Counselor Anderson at the Presidium. I was wandering around his office, and for the first time I noticed that he had a picture of Kaidan Alenko on his desk... the same picture my Shepard (who romanced him in ME1) has in her cabin on the Normandy.
Um... anything I should know, Anderson?
Update: I now have video evidence

Thanks to the help of Gourmetrix, I just discovered that if you recover the data module on Eletania and then shoot the monkey that had the data module you will not get the 4 renegade points. Shooting any other monkey after getting the data module will gain you the 4 renegade points.
I discussed the Normandy being dry docked for repairs with Joker in the Citadel DLC and picked the "I don't like it either" dialogue... oh boy, I laughed pretty hard:
It is known that if Grissom is avoided with Jack in ME3, she will be killed on Chronos. When you activate the datapad on the operating table, Jack's voice can be heard along with a Cerberus guy. There's also two large spots of blood. If the player completes Grissom or Jack isn't alive in ME3, that datapad is there, but can't be activated and the two spots of blood are there on the table
I just finished ME3. For the first time ever, I decided to walk backwards to the beam in London after killing the uglies. After a few moments, the cutscene took over.
- After N7: Cerberus Fighter Base, Steve's banter with James acknowledges whether you brought James to the mission or not.
"All you did was drop us off and bugger out. How are you proud of that?" vs "All you did was drop them off and bugger out. How are you proud of that?" ![]()
- In contrast to Kaidan, who has a very nice dialogue back on the Normandy after the Citadel coup, Ashley has nothing to say to you to except a tiny sentence.
- Kenneth is scared of playing strip poker with Ash ![]()
Gabby: Right. You're not going to invite Commander Williams too?
Ken: She seems like a sore loser, and I'm rather attached to my tender bits.
