- In contrast to Kaidan, who has a very nice dialogue back on the Normandy after the Citadel coup, Ashley has nothing to say to you to except a tiny sentence.

All she says is "Good to see you"

I like the dialogue exchange with Kaidan after the coup. He will talk about his parents. At one point, a renegade interrupt will pop for the player to use if he/she wants. I like it. I also like the scene with him and Shepard after completing the ex-Cerberus scientists mission

Yeah, me too. At first I thought that maybe it was bugged for Ash, because I had it happen before that Kaidan's scene doesn't trigger if you talk to him last, but nope, it was all Ash had to say :( I was a bit sad because I was looking forward to an equally long scene, ha.

From the cut dialogues. It seems like Kaidan and Ashley should have an extra scene. Kaidan being angry about the reapers and Ashley talking about afterlife. But I don't think it was ever recorded.

Made a lot of sense why Kaidan talk about sanity check.

not something i just discovered...maybe something I just thought about. In ME2, there is a planet in the Relic system called Preying Mouth. It is said to be the Bermuda Triangle of that system with ships discouraged from attempting to discharge their drives there because of the number of ships that have never returned from there. I wonder though...if a Leviathan or Leviathans are the cause of that since no ship ever returns which is similiar to Psi Trophet in ME3 with all those downed ships there...hmm. Just a thought...idk that it holds any merit.

It's fun what you can learn and the tidbits of information about the ME Universe you miss if you don't read Planetary descriptions.

Ashley and Kaidan have the same amount of scenes but they're distributed differently: Ash has two on the Citadel, one on the Normandy; Kaidan has one on the Citadel, two on the Normandy. IMO, Ash got the short end of the stick with that drunk scene which didn't do much for her characterization, especially since that's the ONLY thing she does on the Normandy. Kaidan actually moves around and talks to the other characters, while Ash just stays in the same room the whole time and occasionally will comment about missions.

Not totally true. If you do the Tuchanka Bomb mission after the Coup, then a) Ashley can be found examining the memorial wall after the mission and will talk about losing Kaidan on Virmire, and b ) Ashley will call Tali down in engineering to talk about Kaidan.

I don't know if the game always does this, but I noticed that the first Scion on the platform was ejected from the platform as it flew away. (Pay attention to the upper right side of the vid.)

That's true, but it's easy to miss unfortunately.  Kaidan will also call Garrus and talk to him about Ash.  I do like their comments on the shuttle about the one who died on Virmire after the Tuchanka Bomb mission too.

If Garrus is on the turian bomb mission with Kaidan or Ashley. his dialogue overrides theirs with no mentioning of Virmire when returning to the Normandy

Currently I am speed running through ME3 to check on something. This means no talking to anybody. As a result, I found a new line of dialogue from Shepard on the shuttle down to Tuchanka to cure the genophage:

Shepard: "Are you . . .  recovered enough from your procedure to do this Wreav?"

Wreav: "Don't go there Shepard."

More speed run finds:

During the genophage mission: in the second encounter, i.e. after defeating some ravagers and cannibals and then jumping over a gap in a bridge, it is possible to run past the Brute, Cannibals and Husks that show up and get to the dialogue where Wreav/Wrex talks about an idea for dealing with Kalross. This apparently despawns these enemies. The next set of enemies, i.e. Cannibals, Husks and Ravagers, however, must be defeated before Shepard can jump over the bridge that Kalross just went through.

Added: you can also run by the Cannibals that drop in on your way to the Shroud right after the cutscene discussing the maw hammers.

Yep. Its also where the dialogue has a hard time keeping up with the player.

OK, answer me this:

I just talked to Esheel after curing the Genophage. After she told me about Udina moving large amounts of money, she said "you won't like where its going" and I never got a chance to tell her "let C-Sec investigate." Why? Is it because I never talked to Udina? Is it because Anderson was the councilor in ME2?

I've been able to run by the Brutes on my way to the maw hammers. It despawns them and gets right to the cutscene. I really hate fighting Brutes, and considering my Shepard is on the ground in London right now you can imagine my good mood. ;)

The time I get the line is when I choose the bottom right option. I got it whether or not I talked with Udina and Anderson was never made councilor.

What determines how much of Hammer makes it? I've got 3124 and Anderson said less than 40%. Is it a combination of EMS and galactic readiness?

Kaidan still calls Garrus after the mission, though (apparently if Garrus is not actually present on the mission).  That's what I meant.  They have a conversation about Ash.

If you destroyed the Collector Base in ME2, the dialogue with The Illusive Man in ME3 on Mars slightly changes depending on what you say in ME2.  If you don't tell The Illusive Man that the Collector Base is an abomination in ME2, instead you'll tell him in ME3 that you destroyed the Collector Base because you didn't trust him with the information (and not because it was an abomination).

It's a small change, but it does change Shepard's intentions a bit.  I like it because my Shepard would have kept the Collector Base if she had the option to hand it over to the Alliance or Council and NOT Cerberus.

I am pretty sure Shepard's dialogue changes based on your final dialogue with TIM. If you use renegade responses during the final dialogue then Shepards goes the "I didn't trust you route" and if Shepard uses the paragon choices then Shepard goes the "abomination" route.

Hm, ok.  I double checked my recording of the final dialogue with TIM and my Shepard used mixed responses (neutral, renegade, then neutral/paragon).  I guess I can't confirm it either way without going back to ME2 and replaying that part.

Wasn't sure if Tali would have anything to say about Legion if he died during the SM, but she did.

Spoiler

Next step is to find out how the Admirals react to not-Legion since Legion came to Tali's trial. Will they think its Legion, or will they react the way they would if Legion had not come to the trial? Stay tuned.
