Have you noticed how one of the NPCs that claps for Hock's speech looks like Gianna?

Yes I noticed that as well.

Also with Hock and all his guests apparently don't know what Shepard looks like, but somehow Hock is able to suspect that it might be Kasumi who is accompanying Ms. Gunn/femshep

Same here. I charged into everything on my Vanguard run. Except in that one mission where charging equals death because of horrible programming :P

When you gain control of Shepard and before you talk with Victus and Wrex/Wreav about their missions they want to discuss to Shepard about, the missions are already loaded in the journal making it where you don't have to talk with them at all. I figure it would activate after talking with them.

During the Grissom mission, when you have control of the Atlas mech, if you decide to use it, you see a shuttle to your left if your back is to the students, you  see two characters run to the shuttle.

The same thing applies with the loyalty missions in me2; they appear in your journal without you speaking to the person.

Oh and vasir spoilers jack's loyalty mission if you meet her before doing it.

RE: Loyalty missions: Often, Shepard's and the NPC's dialogue will differ when you first talk to them depending on whether you talked to Kelly first.

RE: Rachni mission: Shepard's dialogue changes depending on whether you talked to Wrex/Wreav before doing the mission. Not sure about Turian Platoon.

If you are struggling to hijack an Atlas for the achievement, it's best done during Grissom Academy, where during the last area when you have control of an Atlas, you can use the Atlas' main weapon to break the canopy of the enemy controlled Atlas that comes to fight you near the end, killing the enemy pilot in the process. You can then just get out of your own Atlas and get into the other Atlas at that moment.

It is possible to lock yourself out of a Liara romance in Mass Effect 3. This happens if you choose the lower bottom responses instead of the upper top ones during optional interactions with her. By optional, I mean interactions that you can avoid, like the time capsule scene and the scenes on the Citadel. You can use all the upper top responses you want with her during non-optional interactions, like during Mars and whenever she comes up to your cabin to inform you of something, the responses during those interactions won't have an effect.

You will know if you have successfully locked yourself out of a Liara romance when in her lock-in chat, instead of the final upper top option being "I want more than just friends", it will instead be "I'd like that".

If you have Shepard wear a helmet, that scene in Mass Effect 2 were he head-butts Uvek looks WAY more plausible.

I agree. I always have Shepard wear a helmet for that scene.

I have read that you need at least one live non-Atlas enemy on the field to hijack an Atlas. Don't know if that is so. Where I got the Achievement was on the Presidium. You can hide behind the broken window in the store immediately to your left as you enter. The Atlas cannot get to you there so you are free to just plink away until you crack its shield. Just be sure that your squadmates are using crappy weapons so they don't kill it before you can crack the glass.

Yes, but if you do not speak to them, the mission prelude differs a bit, if I remember correctly.

For instance, if the Turian leader did not tell you it was his own son commanding the mission, this info will be discovered while on the shuttle.

2 things in Me3 that bg the hell out of me:
1)That platform in the citadel where shep and anderson sit after TIM confrontation appears magically. There is not such platform during TIm confrontation Or even when you guide shepard to that point.
2) The intro level  in me3 is badlly directed. After the kid-vent thing shep and anderson have a chat while anderson saves shep from falling, after that chat shep jumps down and you take control of shep. If however look back and try to find the place tthat the previous conversation took place you find that:
a)The length of the perch was 4 meter as opposed to the cutscene which seemed way longer
B) it actually was not on a higher altitude as it was suggested when shep jumped down.
Watch the intro.
it is just bad and sad as Bioware really have put a lot of tiny details in Me3 but somehow they screwed the whole intro level of Me3

This only makes me sad about the limited ammo. Sniping can be so  funny on ME1. But ME2 makes all very limited.

You may be aware of this little trick already, but: whenever you find pre-placed ammo drops, you can pick up the ammo, save, reload, and the ammo will be there again. A handy way to refill your weapons.

Yeah. but it feels like cheating to me. If I decide to do that, I might as well use console commands (I play on PC) to give me infinite ammo.

I get over my guilt feelings by comparing it to the much larger ammo supply in ME3. It seems to me that BW came to a conclusion that they had been too chincy with ammo in ME2. So I just rectify that mistake. :)

It's not cheating, it's creative problem solving.

How is exploiting a reload creative problem solving if using a code isn't?

On the Omega DLC, after the Afterlife showdown, if you instead walk out the front door of Afterlife before going up to Petrovsky you will fall through the map and to your death.

Isn't really necessary, those pre-placed ammo pickups respawn regardless. I tend to pick them up when a battle starts and by the time the battle is finished they've respawned. In longer battles you can even do a pick up in between.

Saving and reloading sounds terribly cumbersome.

During Grunt's loyalty mission, for some reason the pile of Mako tyres form an impenetrable barrier for the thresher maw shot even when standing:

I think some of the non-persuade dialog options change depending on your Renegade/Paragon score.
