I think some of the non-persuade dialog options change depending on your Renegade/Paragon score.

Are you referring to ME3? ME3 seems much more sensitive than ME2 in having dialogue vary depending on context.

It might be the context. I'm specifically thinking of the ending of the Geth Server mission where Shepard picked the negative option after the Primes join Legion. I've tried it with 2 different characters with very similar histories, except one was Renegade and the other was Paragon, and I got different lines. Renegade complained about parties being opportunistic of the Reaper War, and Paragon said something liked, "Maybe you are just a damn machine."

The same thing happens on the asteroid in Arrival when you get to the deck to find an escape shuttle.

There's on console on Surkesh, when you try to press it the Salarian next to it tells you not to touch it.

If you keep pressing it he says different things for a long time. Things like this:

If you don't talk with edi at all, you will not get the conversation where it tells you that the destroyer, the one on Tuchanka, was only 160 metres tall while Sovereign is 2km tall.

If you don't see Ashley at all in the hospital, she will not go back on the Normandy. I would imagine this would be the same for Kaidan as well.

Regarding the VS; if you don't talk to them at the hospital is that the only way you can end up shooting them during the coup attempt?

You can shoot them even if you visit all 3 times and be nice to them. I have done that.  It all depends on the actions you choose and dialogue while having your weapon pointed at him/her.

Okay thanks. I'm gonna get that to point eventually, and that's kinda my plan at the moment. I don't think my shep is going to be very nice to Ash in ME3, not after horizon, but it's good to know I have the option.

Just as a suggestion, something I do on all my playthrough, is make a save before you go up the elevator that way if the outcome isn't in your favor, you can reload and try again.

Thanks again. I'm trying not to reload because I don't like an outcome this time. No reason for it, just something I decided to try and do... you know, live with the consequences either way. But I've already broken that because I really wanted to get Morinth on board this time, and when it came time for Samara to burst into the apartment I picked the renegade dialogue with Morinth and wasn't even given a choice of who to save. Samara just killed her. Surprised me because even whenever I choice the paragon option in the past, I was still given the choice of who to save. So I reloaded.

Anyway, this time, I may just leave myself an option to reload. Ash really p***ed me off down on Horizon, heh.

I'm replaying ME1. There's an entire info dump from Avina at your first visit to the Citadel how all the key Citadel control & function systems are located in the Tower that Keepers operate and no one ever accessed apart from them. Also, Anderson speculates that Prothean bacon may have weapon plans lol. People were way too eager to call everything an 'asspull' when ME3 released

On tuchanca (cure the genophage ) mission on the highway with the krogan vehicles there is a krogan engineer complaining about the COMBUSTION MANIFOLD.
I loled when i heard that.
Also noticed the incosistency regarding executor pallin. Bailey says he shot him and the took his posotion But codex says he was alive..

I just realized that the head-on-a-stick in Dr. Bryson's office looks more like an unmasked Cerberus trooper's head than a husk.

Ew...

This is what happens if you let the clock countdown to zero in the Arrival dlc

Lesser known secrets of the Arrival DLC - this entire video sequence also plays in ultra-fast-subliminal mode when Shep is first knocked out by Object Rho. It is also exactly what the indoctrinated project workers describe as their dreams on the recording when Shep wakes up.
