Prothean bacon
uhmmmm...sweet smoky, tasty Prothean bacon....
Today I discovered that Shepard has an extra line of dialogue available when delivering the packages to Ish on Omega when Jacob is part of the squad.
Samara doesn't need such common thing as objects to stand on. She can float.

So can Miri. Check out the following vid at 13:40 https://www.youtube....h?v=s_jdWLLwkTw
Apparantly, if you don't visit Thane immediatly after the coup, you can't anymore ![]()
I was focused on getting Ashley back on the Normandy and then did an N7 mission before going back to the Citadel. Bummer. Thane was with me on the suicide mission all the way, I would've wanted to visit him ![]()
I just discovered that the VA for Saren also voiced Balak and the Grand Oak in DA:O.
I always wondered why I found that Batarian and Sylvan so engaging. ![]()
You can shoot the pigeons in Overlord:

The effort that has gone into the DLC is about bugger all. Close up of the cerberus corpses:

Couldn't even be arsed to make the tramway door close:

It seems his eyes are fused with his skin. Awesome! But it's not like it's of great importance anyways...they're basically collateral damage, but I think they do bleed though....
Can you actually see that in-game?The effort that has gone into the DLC is about bugger all. Close up of the cerberus corpses:
Can you actually see that in-game?
Yes. The corpse is in the middle of a room, and the tram door is the one you enter which is then locked behind you. I just zoomed out a bit to show it to greater effect.
The whole DLC feels phoned in to be honest. Real lack of decent textures everywhere, and the amount of recycled assets is tremendous. The whole thing feels very uninspired.
The DLC is only $7.50 US. I paid $5 US for Hearthfire for Skyrim and that thing is just one huge bugfest. Complaining about the mission is one thing, but reuse of textures seems overly picky. Would you prefer a higher price just so you can get some screen shots?
I was always under the impression that games are developed on super-computers, using extremely high-resolution assets. So they start to downgrade the material until it can run smoothly and stable on consoles.
I also see no reason why the PC version did not receive better textures. Well, DLC is usually lousy work, done only for an easy buck.
And to be fair, I did like the story and the enemies in overlord (I can never kill enough geth, they´re too fun to battle), but being realistic, DLCs can be completed in less than 3 hours. Most are around the 2 hour mark. I prefer to pay 60 dollars for a full game than 5 or 10 bucks for something that lasts 2 hours.
Since they know we will be paying just a small amount, they have no problem in offering sub-par material. The ME1 dlcs are even worse. The way they recycle elements is truly shameful. Close to nothing was designed for the dlcs, aside from the batarians. And even they were probably loaned from the already in development me2.

The mark on Mordin's head looks like a reaper.
I really hate it that the game doesn't acknowledge the Ashley romance in ME3 until you 'lock' it.
Come on, man, I've been with her since ME1, rejected everybody else who made a pass, told her in the hospital it's only about her... and now I'm having a conversation with James about how I'm not seeing anyone ![]()
Come on, man. You want the Lancer, you pay the price. Everybody knows this.

That conversation is more interesting, I am sure, if you play as a femshep. James says something along the lines about wondering if Shepard is interested in him. Generally I lock-in before the DLC, but one time I didn't for some reason I got to hear that convo without a LI. Was interesting. A great way to yank James's chain. Funny thing is, he will comment on your LI if she is Liara, but not if she is Traynor. I really was hoping for some comment on Traynor.
In the destroy ending, you only see Asari, Turian and Alliance ships fly by the damaged relay and no Quarian ships(if they're alive in your playthrough)
This was probably done to save money. After all, you may have used the geth fleet only, which means death to the quarian flotila, so bioware did not need to bother in making 2 variations of the same scene.
One thing I just learned is that not only jack has special comments on grissom academy if she was the one generating the biotic bubble during me2´s suicide mission, but tali will also have one exclusive comment on the geth dreadnought if she was the hacker sent thorough the ducts.
Some characters in me3 have slight variations in their conversations after a mission depending on if they were with shepard during the action or remained on the ship.

Its little things like this that really make me appreciate ME3. Like the way James's dialogue changes based on whether he went on the dreadnaught mission or not. In one case he has to explain who "sparks" is, in the other you already know because he used that term when he first meets Tali. His dialogue also changes quite a bit in Leviathan based on whether he was on a mission or not.
