When you think about it, there does seem to be a lot of similarities between Cerberus and Imperium of Man.
Just one more reason to hate Cerberus, really.

Don't you dare compare the best and only hope for Humanity to that turncoat scum they call Cerberus.
But don't they like...sacrifice people by the thousands to the emperor? It was my understanding that hope is for fools in WH40K ![]()
In trying to figure out how I could up my Charm/Intimidate points in ME1 I found out about the infinite morality point glitches. The pyjaks of Elantania have met their savoir in the wiki. Lorik Quin is also in for a lot of repetitive conversation. Shepard will make Conrad seem smart.

They are both bunch of fanatics. Not much to differentiate, really.
If you didn't know, if you helped Jenna in ME1, Conrad lives and if she's not in ME3, Conrad dies.
I've decided to take a kind of spiritual approach with Conrad Verner, where his fate is tied inextricably to Shepard's. If Conrad Verner dies in ME3, then Shepard does as well.
Well... I believe banshees are only made from ardat-yakshi, and ardat-yakshi are sterile, so the banshees on Horizon can't be them...
Nope. AD are only specifically targeted because of their more potentially powerful biotics. Reapers still aim to huskify any powerful Asari biotic.

I keep reading that they patched this, guess I'll find out soon enough.

Nope. I used Quin in my Renegade runs recently and it still works.

Yeah I just did this myself and maxed out both, but now I'm wondering what this means for the side missions you get for each. I made a thread about it elsewhere but I guess I can ask here. Do you get both missions?
I've read it somewhere(might have been codex, but more than likely fanfiction) that it's enough for the asari to have a latent AY gene. That would explain how Reapers can produce so many banshees.
I actually like this one. Makes sense.

Picture's worth a thousand words.
It's in the codex for sure. And Asari with a latent AY gene can still reproduce, otherwise the gene would require spontaneous mutagenesis to persist in the population. This is also how Samara had Ardat-Yakshi offspring. She carries the gene herself.
Okay cool, makes sense to me. I just thought that when Samara -- was it Samara? -- talked about ardat-yakshi being sterile it applied to all of them, but like you say the gene wouldn't persist. Unless the mutagenesis can occur when two purebloods mate; that's how AY are created in the first place.
I still cant believe they made it so complicated to get the bloody 5 points for assets from him.
You gotta talk to him though in ME3, it's so worth it.
And by talk I don't mean 'have him jump in front of you', but I mean talking to him before that. I recently did that for the first time (
), and it's quite awesome to finally hear just how *bleep* smart he is.
I thought the sidequest tie-ins to Conrad were great. I was especially amused by the surprise that the Elkoss Combine license actually did something other than allow the requisitions guy on the SR1 to get new stuff, along with those matriarch writings. It would've been pretty hilarious if he yielded like 100 points or something though.

Yeah, and then a little less... like 75 if you shoved a gun in his face, 50 if you actually shot him at any point in the trilogy.
I always shove a gun in his face. By the time I get to his third encounter, Shepard already arrived from Virmire and the Normandy is on lockdown, so I like to see it as though Shepard is just really pissed off at everything for losing a squad member and takes some of her frustration out on him.

I was tempted to shoot his foot in ME2. Hehe...
In ME3, when James points out the soldiers drinking in Purgatory, one of the soldiers puts his arms up like he's doing some kind of victory dance. This animation seems to be recycled from a patron that's gambling in Flux in ME1. If you go up to the quasar games, both a human and salarian right at the entrance are doing the same thing.

His reaction is funny, but it just seems too far out of character for my Shepard to do it.
In the Bring Down the Sky DLC:
1) You can put out the torches in any order you wish to. The same sequence of interiors will appear, as will the same dialogue sequences.
2) If you disable the torch surrounded by blasting caps first, Simon will not mention them in his dialogue with Shepard.
3) You can leave the asteroid at any time before the end of the mission and return later.
4) Before you kill that last Batarian in the initial battle at the main facility, you can go over to the room where Kate Bowman and two other hostages are being kept and see them through the window. They just stand there doing nothing and there is no way to open the door to their room.
The Police Asari on Illium will slap you. Best way to get laid on Illium.

Not MelisandreShep, especially after seeing Conrad posing in mock N7 armor.
Not because of respect for the program, really, but because of the lengths he's gone for this new faux-hero ego.
I suppose I'm overthinking it a bit, but I like to apply the idea that my Shepard would simply never discharge her weapon unless it's with the intention of killing someone. That, and firing a gun in a bar full of people for no real reason other than to frighten some shmuck just seems a little too crazy-train for me.
I was tempted to shoot his foot in ME2. Hehe...
I do it every time, cause no Shep of mine excuses that sort of stupid.
