Only now I´ve noticed that in ME1, eden prime mission, prior to discovering the Spectre´s body you can simply keep walking in the place where the husks attack you, go to the extreme side of the scenario, and be able to attack the geth prime from a distance. Perfect for snipper shots.

Eden Prime doesn't have a Geth Prime enemy. Putting a level 1 character against the strongest Geth type in the entire game would not be a fair fight.

Director: Your line... say your line!
Jedore: Oh, uh... you die now!
Director *facepalm* I'm getting too old for this ****.
Nearby Vorcha: I could have said that.
I laughed way to hard at that! Stupid canned-speches Jedore!

AFAIk there is a Juggernaut or Destroyer something like that, but yeah, no Primes.

I love reading the planet descriptions in ME1 because of how some planets foreshadow events that occur in ME2 and 3
Neat!
I really dig those descriptions.

I really dig those descriptions.
Except when the description completely contradicts what you find when you land on the planet, like Gei Hinnom which is supposed to lack an atomosphere according to the description, yet supports jungle vegetation and plenty of varren.

A few of the planets in ME2 actually had their missions switched - ie: the planet descriptions didn't match because the missions were supposed to take place on each other's planets, respectively.Except when the description completely contradicts what you find when you land on the planet, like Gei Hinnom which is supposed to lack an atomosphere according to the description, yet supports jungle vegetation and plenty of varren.
Gei Hinnom is one of the ones that doesn't appear to have been mixed up, and just doesn't match with anything.

One of my favorites was Logan."Ploba is the second, and by far the larger, of Antaeus' two gas giants. Active scans by survey ships have returned tantalizing indications of massive, solid structures deep within the atmosphere, too regular in pattern to be anything natural.
Some believe Ploba is a "Jupiter Brain", a planet-sized supercomputer. Adherents of this theory have fruitlessly beamed signals toward the sunken megastructures, hoping to get the machine's attention.
Others believe that an ancient spacefaring race disposed of their weapons of war by dumping them into the planet. The last attempt to reach and salvage Ploba's "Deep Anomalies" went tragically wrong, and ended with a crew of 12 being trapped and crushed in the gas giant's lower atmosphere."
Neat!
I really dig those descriptions.
Logan is a standard hydrogen-helium gas giant. The survey team who charted the system twenty years ago reported many strange disturbances in Logan's cloud bands, suggesting many remarkably large solid objects were present beneath the cloud tops. As the ship approached, however, they subsided one by one. These disturbances have not been reported again.

One of my favourites from ME2 was Joab.
"Joab is a two-mooned habitable planet that is most known for it's mass extinction event. Thousands of years ago, Joab was home to a primate-like spacefaring civilization as well as abundant flora and fauna. However, this can only deduced from time capsules put into the ground well outside habitation centres - all cities and detectable dwellings were targeted in a massive orbital bombardment that turned them into vapour. The resulting dust shroud killed all photosynthetic life and all fauna dependent on it."
OT - if you do a second PT in ME3 (with your weaons at level 5) and if you've bought the "Black Widow" and leveled it up to lvl 10 before you get to Thessia, the "Widow' sniper rifle is gone from the sniper outpost. So you miss out on the free upgrades.
I've only done this once, so I'm guessing the game got the SR's mixed up.

Maybe the devs figured the Widow is pointless if you already have the Black Widow.

I like the standard Widow. It has an innate piercing of .5 meters through solid objects, while the Black widow is only half of that. The Widow is an alternative to the Javelin. I still like the Javelin more though, 'cause you can't beat 1.00 meter of innate piercing. Plus, you have a natural thermal scope. ![]()

I prefer the Javelin myself, though I only ever equip it on Infiltrator Shep, which is my third favored class in ME3, so it isn't often. I do love the built-in thermal scope.

Garrus is the only one I've ever equipped the BW with, and Ashley with the Valiant. I'm a fan of long range suppression, so the Indra is my Shep's baby.

I just took Grunt to Mordin's clinic for the first time, and Mordin cured him of the plague before talking to Shepard. Never saw that; I guess I always took humans in before.
It never occurred to me to take an alien crew member along for this mission, since I always followed Miranda's advice and got Mordin first.

He does the same with Garrus, offering different commentary. I know you can mod Tali into the game before Horizon, and she's fully voiced in all missions you can take her on, but I've never tried it - not sure what she or Mordin would say if taken there.I just took Grunt to Mordin's clinic for the first time, and Mordin cured him of the plague before talking to Shepard. Liara is the only one interested in kai leng.
I would say Liara is the one with the wrong priority. Everyone else seems to have it about right. I mean, just how interesting is Kai Lame anyway?
