You mean to skip through the dialogue? I've done that a few times.

That always struck me as odd since the game does vary the dialogue between Joker and Liara based on whether you hung up on them or not.
That's been very 'buggy' for me. Sometimes, even though I've hung up on the council, I don't get the alternate dialogue.
Does it matter how many times you hang up on them? Or is it enough to get the "Commander do not cut me off like last time" routine.

The one thing I know it depends on is saving the Councilors. If you let them die, then Liara will talk about how she hoped the new Council would be better than the old one.
During the beam run, Harbinger's beam kills the soldiers from the front, but when he kills your squadmates(ems below 1900) the beam is behind the squadmates moving towards them.

Yeah I usually save the Council, but the dialogue seems to be very finicky. The same sort of thing happens with Mordin 'singing' during the Genophage finale. Even though I always talked to him and made him sing in ME2, sometimes he doesn't sing in ME3.
It's .. *sniff* problematic!
In ME1 when you go to feros and you clear the geth out of the tower, if you are going in the wrong direction a squadmate will tell Shepard that your going the wrong way.
it was pretty funny when it happened.
I never heard that before. I assume it's to allow the player to resolve some of the side quests you get with a few of the colonists?
I never really knew you could help the people of Feros by repairing the water lines, etc. Which meant I didn't know about the crazy guy down there. So when I was going to clear out the geth I took the wrong turn and Liara said I was going the wrong way. It's been awhile since I did that so I'm not sure if that's where you go to help the colonists.
Feros always was confusing for me ![]()

I get turned around in awkward directions on Feros too, even after a half-dozen or so runs.
I'm pretty good at the Citadel and Noveria, it's just Feros that gets me
I've discovered it can be really hard to motivate yourself to play the game if you insist on taking lots of screenshots to post on here.
If you stop to inspect one of the Collector pods on Horizon in ME2, you can make out the silhouette of a colonist inside of it, but it's animated, and the shape rapidly shakes. It's kind of creepy.
I did the Mars mission last night and instead of running after Eva, I decided not to run. Eva got no further than 19 metres in front of me. It would show her running in what looked like slow motion. Very funny. I was expecting a game over screen.

Probably depends on where you are on the that level. I think I remember her getting away one time in one of my first playthroughs and getting a mission failure.

I did for the whole time following Eva. From the time Eva starts running till she jumps into the Cerberus shuttle.
I got mixed up on Feros once. I usually do the help quests first, but this time I missed them. While the colonists were trying to kick my ass, I ran and did all the help quests before I fought the Thorian. When I got back, the colonists were dark silhouettes, and I couldn't interact with them. It was rather strange.

I once saw a YouTube video of someone using adrenaline rush, causing Shepard to outrun Eva, which triggered a critical mission failure.
That's funny. I should do that for my next playthrough
Maybe it's tied to difficulty level? What were you playing on?
I did it on insanity mode.
If you keep clicking on the Volus used ship salesman on the Citadel in ME2, he will eventually comment on your Shepard looking fertile (if FemShep).
Just finished playing Ilos and noticed that with the sound FX up and the music down you hear a sort of loud heartbeat in the backgound (PS3).
Never noticed that on my Xbox playthroughs.
Yesterday, i started a new trilogy run, after a long time.
Playing a Femshep this time again, I heard a line that I can't remember having heard before.
Directly after Eden Prime, Shep asked Kaidan how to behave in front of the Ambassador.
Kaidan: "Ambassador? Just standard behaviour. Salute everything you can't eat or kill" *instantly salutes.
Apparently saving Cerberus scientists after destroying Geth provides different dialogue options with Dr. Archer:
I wonder what dialogue would be if Shepard saved Geth or made peace.
Not really the things I've *just* discovered, but many people are oblivious to these, so here goes:
Refugee camp is supported by Udina, which sheds some light about how Cerberus orchestrated the coup. Interesting considering there is a Cerberus agent there who duped Shepard's biggest fan. It is also noteworthy that corrupt Bailey was also puppeteered into his position, which likely made it even easier to compromise C-Sec. Interestingly C-sec traitor Cerberus troopers shot seems to be Coates look-a-like.
Yes, a lot of people missed both Cerberus sneaking agents in through the refugee camp and that Udina's machinations actually began prior to Mass Effect 3 with promoting Bailey. The implications of that are curious, but it seems that Bailey really was just an unwitting pawn in Udina's plan.
There's also this mission summary you get after doing Thane's Loyalty mission: "Thane's personal matter revealed troubling issue with Citadel politics. May have to support Elias Kelham and similar criminals to counteract anti-human bias. Bailey at C-Sec offers a possible recruiting opportunity."
So Bailey was pawn of Udina, who was pawn of Cerberus, who ended up being pawn of the Reapers. That's some pawnception right there.
And that refugee tactic together with Cerberus was likely the very reason why the Reapers did not bother trying to siege Citadel in the first place (which wouldn't have worked that well, Citadel is practically impenetrable when its arms are closed).
