Things that took me a while to find:

ME1 -

kirrahe can be saved,

cutscene at the left side of the rail when facing the beacon,

cutscene where kaidan hints at his feelings for you - before you meet garrus on the citadel (scene is right in front of where you meet Wong),

that kirrahe is on your ship with his men if he survives,

that I can pump up paragon/renegade as high a possible and still not stop that tool on feros from making me shoot him at least not on first game,

that doing wrex's loyalty mission saves me having to waste points in paragon renegade to keep him alive

One creepy thing I´ve noticed about traynor is that she´s the only main character in ME3 never to leave the ship. Cortez not only pilots the shuttle, but he can visit the citadel. Even joker and edi menage to find the opportunity to go away. But not even if Traynor is your love interest she will be interested in going to any other place. I guess she simply can´t be away from edi. Or the shower. The only exception is the citadel dlc, released one year later, in which she´s finally able to leave the ship, but only after being dismissed by the clone, and then she can visit the citadel and attend the party.

I would be interested to hear the reason why she never got a scene on the Citadel.

Another piece of trivia:

Recruit legion and only then go to the citadel to speak with the council. He will try to convince them that sovereign is not a geth ship. Also, anderson will have different dialogue if legion is with and you inquire about the geth. Shep will also mention legion by saying he or she has met geth able to communicate and reason.

I never really thought about it. She should have at least had an option to hit Purgatory or something.

You sure about that?

I´ve also discovered that much earlier than Sanctuary and the Citadel Party Tali was already a heavy drinker.

Recruit her after the cerberus crew is abducted (or even after they all perished) and she will say that the cerberus engineers (!!!??? What cerberus engineers????) are being nice to her. Veetor is not the only delirious quarian you can meet in me2.

Come to think of it, even if you capture the cerberus base and talk in good terms with TIM, you can do more than 10 missions and dlc side-quests after the cerberus crew dies and there´s never a retrofit for the ship or a replacement crew crew taking over.

I noticed a few playthroughs back in Mass Effect 2 that when you ask TIM in the very beginning of the game what Liara was up to, he tells you that she is working for the Shadow Broker on Illium, straight up. This likely wasn't a writing oversight, although I suppose it could be. I prefer to interpret it as TIM deliberately lying to deter you from tracking down Liara, since you know - he's kind of a ****** like that. Later on, prior to playing through the Shadowbroker DLC, you can actually ask Liara "I thought you worked for the Shadow Broker?".

Actually, he doesn't say that she's working for the Shadow Broker, he says that she "probably" is, so it's made clear from the beginning that this is simply speculation on his part, based on the fact that Liara is a known information broker on Illium. As far as we can tell, he didn't lie to Shepard about this, because what he says as fact turned out to be true, whereas his speculation did not.

Except he knows for a fact that she isn't since she's the one who recovered Shepard's body from the Shadow Broker in the first place.

TIM lies to Shepard? Perish the thought!

Also TIM doesn't say that Liara is "probably" working for the Shadow Broker, he says that "his sources" say that she's working for the Shadow Broker. So either Miranda fudged the details about how Liara acquired Shepard's body for Project Lazarus (unlikely) or TIM is lying.

If you don't take the interrupt against Thanes son you can kill the hostage

That bit always had me wondering what Bioware originally had planned.

I suspect that when it was originally written, TIM's dialogue was probably intended be truthful.

I think there is precedence for it. A good deal of Legion's dialogue (both in the playable game and in the various files) and background chatter was originally made for when it was supposed to be introduced earlier in the game when the human Reaper was the uploaded minds of the colonists instead of a Synthetic/Organic combination.

I've never missed the Paragon interrupt here.  Neat.

Good point.

Even beyond Bioware games it happens all the time. One of the more famous examples from film is Obi Wan's dialogue in the first Star Wars film, where he tells Luke that Vader killed his father. At the time that dialogue was written it was intended to be true; Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker were seperate characters. At some point during the writing of Empire Strikes Back however Lucas decided to combine these two characters, and have Anakin instead become Darth Vader. Of course this created problems with Obi Wan's dialogue in the first film, so a scene had to be written in to the third film where Luke confronts Obi Wan on that fib, and Obi Wan hand waves his earlier dialogue as being truthful '..from a certain point of view.'

I wonder if something similar might have been going on with TIM's dialogue about Liara working for the Shadow Broker. Initially its intended to be truthful, but then when they go in a different direction with the DLC, that earlier dialogue becomes an example of TIM trying to manipulate and control Shepard.

In the vanilla game, she can never be found outside the Normandy.

Notice the difference in reactions between femshep and manshep when Anderson tells them they are a little soft around the edges.

(About 2 mins in)

A free date with Chelsea Clinton for nayone who can tell my why that little difference is in there (bonus points if you can guess my g/f's reaction when I showed her about ten minutes ago).

And what makes you think I didn't know that?

She never got a scene on the Citadel  in the vanila game. Do you have an explanation as to why she doesn't?

Traynor does seem to get the short end of the stick a bit in terms of the amount of content she gets. Traynor's banter on the ship seems to be confined to Allers.

If you have Garrus dead in ME2 and Tali alive, Samantha and Tali will have a few lines after the Thessia mission when they talk over the intercom.

That's still kind of getting the short end of the stick, because now it requires that you lose another character entirely. I never allow Garrus to die in my playthroughs.

I have him killed because Samantha gets an extra scene and  I'm not a big fan of Garrus.
