Only just noticed the throwing knives in the bulkhead in Zaeed's cabin.

Can't believe I missed that.

Heard some dialogue I'd never had before. The Krogan (Kargesh) who's asking about fish on the Presidium, if you don't interact right away and come back a couple of times, says something like, "he heard an Urdnot was on the Presidium once".

I assume that's a reference to Wrex, who if I remember right asked or says something about fish in the lakes in ME1.

He also has some good lines at the krogan monument... and in the elevators. Except for the one time I wanted to see what Fist had to say in ME2, I always let Wrex blow him away. Not just because it's Wrex being Wrex, well mostly not, but because it's like character development for him, as a merc.

When facing the first brute on Palaven's moon, Menae, instead of fighting it, turn around and run towards the path you take when searching for Victus.  James will say "Commander. We can't let the barricade fall."  A moment later the screen says, The Primarach has been killed. After the game reloads, it puts Shepard at that  same spot without ever having to fight the brute and you don't get the dialogue from Corinthus telling you where to head to find Victus.

That's weird. So many oddly scripted things...

How the heck did you find that. You certainly do some weirded and unexpected things on your ME playthroughs.

I just wanted to see what happens if I avoid fighting the brute. I know in parts of the game you can avoid fighting, so I thought , what the heck.

I'm guessing you lose out on the experience?

Those elevator ones were hilarious. In ME2 there's a funny part with Garrus and Tali where he mentions those talks in the elevators.

I usually have Wrex kill Fist as well, but this play through I let him live. It's funny to see him in Afterlife drinking with those two Asari.

Wait. No it's not. I'm jelly!

If you don't talk with Chakwas when you see her in the hospital, she will not be there after the coup and never seen again. Her name is not on the memorial wall and she isn't listed as a war asset. You end up without a doctor on the ship.

During the Suicide Mission, if you take Miranda with you to the cargo bay to fight the oculus, once you've killed it, she will still radio you from the bridge that the Normandy has cleared the debris field. They really should have made EDI the replacement voice for this announcement.

After having that happen a couple of times, I decided to bring someone else to help fight the Oculus

It's strange that they didn't reconcile that little detail, yet still gave Miranda a line of dialogue if she's with Shepard in the cargo bay.

Some little differences I've noticed between the Xbox and PS3 versions are -

On Kasumi's mission (ME2), the final fight with Hock, there are a handful of Medigel packs and even a couple of Power Cells/Ammo crates in the area. In the PS3 version they're gone after the gunship goes down, but on the Xbox you can grab them after for several hundred credits.

The "Off Hand Ammo Pack' you purchase on the Citadel is finicky on Xbox, if you switch weapons in the Mission Start menu or use a weapons locker, it resets to default (I think this is pretty well known).  But this doesn't happen as often on PS3.

The Viper Sniper Rifle in ME2 Xbox, is a lot better than the PS3 version.  It has less 'kick' and stays on target better and even seems to have a faster fire rate.  Too bad they 'nerfed' it for ME3

With ME3 being packed with lots of sniper rifles it's not surprising that they'd nerf it a bit. ME2's predator was definitely better than ME3's, as was the Avenger, but since you had so few options they had to be better in that game.

Just saw this vid. Didn't know about any of this. Can't get over Legion's dancing

Aw I never knew you could let him live and then see him in ME2. Time to youtube it.

The meeting with her is better if you left her as a criminal. The alternative is so unbelievable that it hurts my brain.

In Overlord before taking the elevator down to see David, there is a hologram of the SR2 in the middle of the room

When facing Gavin Archer during the ex-Cerberus scientists mission, he will kill himself if you don't tell him about David being safe.

In ME1, if you do the Citadel: Family Matter side mission, you will talk with Rebekah Petrovsky and her brother-in-law, Michael Petrovosky about gene therapy. In ME2 on the 26th floor in the Sirta Foundation shop, you will hear them talking and not be able to interact with them. In ME3, Shepard will recognize them on the Presidium if you interact with the couple

I've never seen them. OTOH, that's one of the quests I blow off sometimes.

Something I rediscover everytime when playing ME1:

Weapons have different coloured lights for holstered and active state (Spectre gear changes from red (holstered) to blue (active))

They are kind of hard to spot. They look very generic and they are sitting down somewhat off a walkway.

They will be there whether you do that little "quest" or not. They are sitting to the left of the planter next to General Oraka.

Just as a side note: if you want to get all the dialogue from both Rebeca and Michael, and the refund guy in ME2, the easiest way to do it is to run back and forth between them. (The refund guy is next to the warehouse entrance where Garrus's LM starts.) They have about 4 cycles each. Similarly, you can get all three cycles from both the Krogans talking about fish and the Turian and Asari customers at the gift shop by running back and forth between them.

I captured most of the dialogue on Zakera Ward in this video, including all but one of the advertisements. I did not include the Garrus/Tali dialogue, or the "Crime in Progress" dialogue because I did not have Tali available yet.

Yeah, I usually let her live. Unless I really want the XP points even though I'm not 100% sure if you get more by killing her and her crew.

Although, I know if it's early in the game on Insanity, it's a tough fight.
