"A bullet in the head solves everything." - Shepard 3:16
*upon returning from Torfan, Shepard is stopped by a reporter*
Joanne- "Commander Shepard? This is Joanne Martin of Fox News. Can I ask you a few Questions?"
Shepard- "Depends on your questions."
Joanne-"Reports say that you destroyed a Batarian Slave ring on Torfan. Is this true?"
Shepard-"Yes it is. We slaughtered every one of those 4-eyed freaks. It was glorious."
Joanne-"Reports also say that you sacrificed a lot of Marines in your unit, and even killed Batarian slavers that surrendered. Is this also true?"
Shepard-"Yes. What's your point?"
Joanne-"Do you have no remorse?"
Shepard-"Nope."
Joanne-"So you had no problem with the ruthless slaughter of the Marines under your command and those helpless Batarians that surrendered?"
Shepard-"Do you have a problem with that?"
Joanne-"Yes, and the rest of our viewers will too when this interview is aired. Everyone back on Earth will learn how monstrous and evil you really are."
Shepard-"Hmm, well, let me fix that for you" *raises gun and shoots Joanne in the head*
*A marine from Shepard's unit comes up to see what happened*
Marine-"What the hell Sir? Why did you shoot that reporter?"
Shepard-"One, she was from that annoying news station that just won't die out. Second, she insulted me. Third, I couldn't let her air that interview."
Marine-"But sir, don't you think that was a little extreme?"
Shepard-"No. She had a problem with me, and I had a problem with her self-righteous attitude. Now both our troubles are over. A bullet to the head solves everything"
*the marine just gives Shepard a distraught and flabbergasted look*
Shepard-
Thanks! He chooses top option next, to convince Joker to go dancing. Don't you need to pick the bottom option to not have them develop a relationship? Or it's only the first option that counts?

I haven't done that scene since the game came out. They will end up together no matter what. When Shepard is in the cockpit before Chronos, she will say she will look out for his girlfriend, if the right dialogue is chosen. This happens even if the player doesn't meet Joker in Purgatory. They will also be seen together if synthesis is chosen

This is correct. In my last run I told EDI at the very first opportunity not to persue a relationship. Things are different after this (no sitting together in Purgatory among other things)
Then comes Cronos, where suddenly she's his gf.
oh my gosh! i didn't know the maker is in this game!
i discovered that Shepard's head will sometimes be at akwarded (if physically impossible) angles while talking to people and he would try to turn it back but it will never works and he will repeat this until the conversation is over.
Also, Jacob or Brynn never stated they were married and is going to have a child in my 2nd playthrough. I think I haven't talked to Jacob that much or I was renegade to him before.
AFAIK that has nothing to do with paragon/renegade -just the places where/when you talk to them.
Jacob only mentions Brynn being pregnant when you talk to him in Huerta hospital. Likewise the only mention of marriage plans is afaik in one version of the Citadel DLC party.

Ah, OK, will keep that in mind. Thanks! ![]()
I brang Tali and Javik to the Cerberus-Scientest mission.
When I needed to pick someone to fix the gun, I chose Javik because it doesn't seem right.
On subtitles, it says: "Javik, you're up for it."
But Shepard says: "Prothean, see what you can do."
On the Fuel Reactor mission when you send Javik to assist Riley. Shepard asks Cortez was there any word from the Prothean, not referring to Javik by name ![]()

When talking with Jacob at the hospital, he will mention that Brynn wants to name the baby after Shepard.
After killing the first Scion, during the Collector ship mission, the Scion corpse can be seen flying off the platform in the distance. Never seen that before.
If you don't use the private terminal at all in the game, Kelly will keep reminding Shepard that she/he as an email from who she believes to be Admiral Anderson even after the suicide mission.

During gameplay, you can blow enemies into pieces if you shoot them with the Black Widow. I knew this before, but... what I learned recently is that you can do this to Kai Leng as well.
There are a few moments in ME2 where there's subtitles for the hearing impaired.. out of nowhere, while most of the game doesn't do this. Most notably in LotSB.
When I get to ME2 I'll try to remember to keep track of them.
If you don't use the private terminal at all in the game, Kelly will keep reminding Shepard that she/he as an email from who she believes to be Admiral Anderson even after the suicide mission.
And even if you use the private terminal, Kelly will still inform you there are unread messages even though you just finished reading them. Hey Kelly, shut up!

This reminds me of a comment I saw on Youtube ages ago
"Miranda dat' a**
Tali dem' hips
Samara dem' t*tties
Kelly .. dem' unread messages'
you can look like every other Cerberus troop in ME3 by wearing the Cerberus amour and your squadmates will never ever be confused. likewise, you will always be seen as an enemy, those silly cerberus assault troopers would never thought that u might be an ally.
it would be cool if they can allow u to dodge enemies' fire while susceptible to your squad member's fire.

Well, it was kind of awkward explaining to Kaidan I didn't work for Cerberus anymore while wearing Cerberus Spirit Armor, especially after Udina showed him some footage of me shooting the Salarian Councilor. "Really, Kaidan, I know this looks bad, but I can explain everything."

Isn't the Spirit Armor only available after the Citadel coup though? ![]()

Among other flagging issues I've discovered (like the Conrad renegade flag bug from ME1 to ME2,) apparently Tali can randomly end up dead with a bad import flag (from ME2 to ME3.) I'm very glad I have a save editor in order to change that flag. She was alive and a selectable party member right before the Fetus Reaper in ME2. I only discovered that the game flagged her as dead when I went to the crew area for the first time in my current ME3 game and saw her name on the memorial wall. Thankfully, I got it fixed, and she's no longer considered dead.

Did she die on the SM and you missed it?
(was she loyal? did you take her to fight to baby reaper? who was holding the line? who was already dead, if any? answer all these and maybe I can help you out)
ME3 with dead Tali ain't so bad though!

Nope, she was quite alive. Loyal (via paragon with no evidence,) and available for selection right before the end. She wasn't in my very final squad though; I took Zaheed, and Garrus (I was playing an infiltrator.) She was also in the final scenes of the crew.
My SM set up with like this: Everyone was loyal. Legion was in the vents, Jacob led the ground team both times, Jack was on the biotic team, and Mordin did the escort. No one was dead. I double checked my first chapter save in ME3 (the one that you get right after the character creator) using Gibbed and she was flagged as alive. Something went weird between the beginning of ME3 and my first time back in the Normandy.
Edit: Found a screenshot of the last speech just before you set up the final squad, after you get through the base (and the hardest part of the SM.) She's near the top right corner:

Also, I could not imagine playing ME3 without Tali. She is my favorite female companion of the entire series.
