Ashley hung over is completely worthwhile.  Kaidan is nicer, but Ash really is funner.  I probably won't be able to kill Ash again though, at least if I play through ME1 and not just set up plot flags for ME2.  I got to meet Kimberly Brooks (who's Ash's VA) at Denver Comic Con, and the voice is identical.  As a result, I did feel kinda bad for leaving Ash with the bomb.

 

I helped the quarians out by getting their admiral out, and then spent some time in Tron the Geth Collective in order to disable some pilots.  Now I'm running around the galaxy working on side quests.

That's pretty cool that you got to meet her.

 

I usually alternate the VS in my playthroughs, and the last time it was Ash I shot her during the coup, because I'd never done that before... so after Mars, she was never a squadmate.

I got to meet Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale as well.  Ms. Hale is a total sweetheart.

Here's something I discovered: It's rather hard to find a non-psychotic/destructive renegade option in ME3.  In ME2, I had a blast playing a Paragade Shep.  I was kind to my friends, but very harsh on my enemies.  Doing things like setting them on fire in mid-speech, shoving them out the window, telling off the guy that called Shep a stripper, ect.  Yet, in this game, most of the renegade interrupts just seem overly cruel.  I have taken one so far.  It never gets old telling the Daltress to screw off.  

 

Yes, I did take the interrupt at the end of ME3 my first time towards Kai Lame as well.

If you talk to Tarak (Leader of the Blue-Suns in Omega) and you have Zaeed with you, you get extra dialogue since the two know each other.

Also, everyone knows this, but I just witnessed listening to Cathka's satisfaying death scream after overloading him.

If you talk to Tarak (Leader of the Blue-Suns in Omega) and you have Zaeed with you, you get extra dialogue since the two know each other.

Should have Grunt with you when you first talk to Garm (the krogan bloodpack leader).

If you turn off lensflare in the coaleseced.bin file, you won't be able to interact with anything. What?

It's so much easier to shoot at 50 fps or higher when hip-firing. At below 30, it's horrendous.

Just played Citadel DLC again, but found this out a couple of play throughs ago.

 

In the Cision car dealership if you shoot the cars on display the Volus will cry out Noooo! each time you destroy a car.

Sometimes it's hard to hear if Wrex is really going to town on the mercs. It's pretty funny so I do it all the time now.

 

I figure the Spectre budget will cover the costs anyway.

Didn't use the machine gun on Menae today for the first time. My character is a melee infiltrator who only uses Cloak, Sabotage and Fortification (might add Sticky Grenades later on). Fight on that narrow barricade was reminiscent of LOTR battle of the Helm's Deep

The only weapon I have (which I only fired once, killing Eva Core) is Predator I with Melee Stunner and Power Magnifier mods

The base strategy is to cross the battlefield to get from behind the enemies. After that, divide and conquer

Shai'ira's dialogue in the Citadel DLC is different if you never met her in ME1 than if you did.

After gaining control of Shepard at the start of the Chronos mission, if you kill all the Cerberus troopers up above before any come down to ground level, the ladder that is needed to climb up will not be lowered leading to a critical mission failure

Has anyone not taken the interrupt when Javik, in typical grim downer fashion, starts to panic the Citadel civilians by going on about how hopeless the war is? I always wondered how it plays out if Shepard doesn't have Javik change tack and switch to pep talk mode.

The civilians get real depressed as if they are going to commit suicide as soon as they get back home, while Shepard says "well, at least they have a realistic understanding of what we face." (or something along those lines.) I am sure there is a youtube vid somewhere.
