I thought it would be a nice idea to bring my squad with me, and really let them see the Geth. From the inside..sorta.
So I borked the game a bit.
Well the geth gun vanished and I had a nonfunctional Arch projector from ME2 in my hands. Then managed to get that switched to my regular guns. Which are able to destroy the orange cube stuff. Grenades and powers don't do anything, and normal guns don't replenish their ammo. If you have enough ammo you can complete this mission with any gun, otherwise... ![]()

The birds on the overhang above Apollo's Cafe and the birds on the overhang above Kassa Fabrication, stay in the same spot throughout the game

This is the first time I played Cronos and paid attention to Shepard's remark - It sounds like the Cerberus ships are more advanced than Alliance vessels. They are fewer, but they are more advanced. Go Super Mac!!!
Cerberus had the best weapons, the best ships, the best military. Hell, the Alliance should have joined up with The Illusive Man!
This again lends itself to this: "So Lonestar. Now I will show you why evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."

From what I'm seeing, you became EDI and an N7 Shadow combined..?

After finishing Chronos a short time ago, I discovered that in every single playthrough of mine, that I always use the fuel depot in the Pax system to fill up the Normandy before going to Earth

Me too, cause if you don't, then no matter your EMS, the Normandy has a 20% chance of being outright destroyed while trying to outrun the crucible beam*

And here I thought the Normandy had a 100% chance of not outrunning the Crucible beam.

Outrunning, no... but 80% of the time it survives every time.

It wouldv'e been funny if you lose 100 war assets for not having the Normandy filled up with fuel

Ouch, 100 is quite the hit. ![]()
Real quick Mike: Did you want me to send you a PM regarding my thoughts on the ending I choose? You'd mentioned awhile back that you were curious.
On topic: This sounds silly, but I didn't realize there was a bunch of cave paintings of Cthulhu er Leviathan on the walls before they are revealed in the cutscene. Oops. ![]()

You can if you like. If interested, here's a thread you can post your thoughts about the ending you chose and why for folks to see and comment.

I discovered a little dialogue between Liara and a Cat6 merc I hadn't heard before.
Merc: That drone's giving me a migrane.
Liara: He belongs to me.
Merc: Keep him on a leash.
I had to tell Liara that the merc had a point. ![]()

Well, everybody's got their dislikes. Jacob, for instance. They could have made him an Alliance spy -- all part of being a Corsair -- who is keeping tabs on Cerberus, and by extension shep. Maybe he makes sure you destroy the collector base or something. Then he would have been interesting.
Err... sorry. Back to the point. The only time Glyph is ever annoying to me, is that second conversation with Liara on the Normandy. shep and Liara both follow Glyph with their eyes, and heads, as soon as you mention him in the conversation... and they keep following him as he floats around the room, even after he's not part of the conversation anymore, until the end. Sure messes up the screenies. Other than that, I love the little guy. He's like Wesley from Portal 2.

I know, right? Glyph's adorable.
That Liara makes a very funny calibration joke in 'Lair of the Shadow Broker' if you romanced her in the first game and then romanced Garrus. I wanted to play the third game on PC with a Garrus romance/saved Collector base/ destroyed heretics/ mostly paragon/ live Wrex/ Ashley survived and so on but none of the save files on a site had my specifications. So I pulled up a ME2 save and copied it over into a new save folder, renamed and played from just before Legion's mission, starting the romance side quest. I was quite surprised how snarky she got but in Tory Shepard's defence, it's Garrus.
I can't wait to yank Liara's chain in the third game... I was also going play through to meet the Geth VI but I killed Legion off in the vents via Zaeed's apparently sucky leadership skills and then immediately changed my mind. I knew he wasn't listed as but I would have thought someone with his experience could command in a pinch- instead I replayed the entire trip through the Omega-4 relay just to save Legion.

Totally worth it... compared to the geth VI experience, that is.

I discovered this week that if Origin crashes, you'll get an in-game message saying that ME3 must close. This happened to me right as Joker was trying to outrun the beam in the ending. Kinda killed the drama there a little. ![]()
Well, because of that, I learned that the last auto-save before that event was the start of whatever ending you picked (for me, it was the cutscene where I was starting to shoot and walk towards the tube during the Destroy ending.)

What I missed is kind of embarrassing considering how many play throughs I've done with all games... especially 2 and 3 where this occurs. I did not know there was a bathroom in my cabin. I found it on my umpteenth time playing 3 when I spun around from my desk and walked into the wall... and to my surprise a door slid open to reveal a bathroom. Then when I went back to play 2 for the umpteenth time I realized it was there as well. What makes me even more dense, is that there is even a cutscene with Shepard and Liara while Shep is in the bathroom! And I still didn't know I could access it till I ran into what I thought would be a wall in the back of my office.

While playing 2 for about the thousandth time, I finally noticed the massive ship passing by overhead at the very beginning of the mission on Korlus where you go to recruit Okeer/Grunt.
I don't know how I missed that all those times before, but I just happened to look up and saw that giant ship slowly floating by up in the sky.
