I discovered this week that if Origin crashes, you'll get an in-game message saying that ME3 must close. This happened to me right as Joker was trying to outrun the beam in the ending. Kinda killed the drama there a little.
Well, because of that, I learned that the last auto-save before that event was the start of whatever ending you picked (for me, it was the cutscene where I was starting to shoot and walk towards the tube during the Destroy ending.)
I discovered that ages ago, the Origin crashing thing but what's extra annoying is that you can provoke it if you're in your Origin in-game screen using the browser and your internet goes down- but Origin's never crashed without me doing that. I kind of like that Origin's faster to throw up the in-game than Steam is although Steam doesn't kick me out of my game if the net crashes unless I'm playing online.
Also, in a 'what I've learnt' is that auto-aim in 360 is a killer if you switch to PC and then do the laser-sync against the destroyer. The console for ME3 version actually adjusts your aim and you don't have to work as hard. It was only fitting since I had gone most the game the first time I started to play (ironically only 'finished' the game recently) and when I hit that fight on Rannoch after having not dodge rolled since it made me in the tutorial- I died there slightly more times than in Collector Ship/Insanity run in ME2.
