Okay, I was fooling around on the N7: Fuel Reactors mission. I knew from a previous playthrough that walking through the toxic sludge was bad for Shepard's health.
But I got to wondering if I could survive I Nova-cancelled my way through it.
Nope.

That's awesome. I usually just ignore them and drive straight for the conduit. Always hit the beam with no shields and the Mako on fire, heh. Adds to the whole one-way-trip thing.
I don't recall having the Mako on fire when going through the conduit. I know by the time the armatures are seen, the shields for the Mako are gone. I usually have about 11-12 seconds left on the clock when I go through the conduit
I just noticed that when attending Hock's party, Kasumi's icon on the bottom of the screen appears whenever she decloaks, and disappears whenever she cloaks. Also, you can get her to keep cloaking and decloaking by running in and out of the room with the statue of Saren.

It's happened to me a few times. Usually when I steer slightly wrong and the Mako tries to climb something that a person could step over, heh. Then I take a few extra hits from the armatures as I try to get back on course.
I don't think it's possible for the Mako not to be on fire when you're playing on insanity
When talking to Jacob about his loyalty mission, he calls femshep sir instead of ma'am.
Woman are sometimes referred to as sit
Really? What's next? Men are sometimes referred to as ma'am?

Googling it brings that it is indeed used when addressing female superior officers, at least in some TV shows. Wikipedia has a reference to it (without citation), people ask that question quite frequently.
I think it's wrong to call a female officer "sir", "ma'am" or simply "officer" works much better
On the grim side, during the Rachni mission on Utukku- there's an impaled krogan scout down in the caves. I did however take Tali with me which proved fun despite her being ill suited for the mission which she commented on. She exclaimed 'spiders' when we got to a certain point and I heartily concur- I hate the creepy crawlies too as we had a little kindred spirits moment. I barely use the firestorm weapons provided- most of the time I just spam Flare to get through faster.
It was a stupid weapon in Mass Effect 2 and a stupid weapon in the third game- although sections of this level remind me of the original XBOX's Buffy game and this holy water spray you'd use to get past spirit-web like things.
All those beautiful flames, warms my heart ![]()

That's where I like the Lancer or the Particle Rifle. Infinite ammo = lotta dead crawlies.
I used the firestorm weapon in ME2 when playing as a vanguard and it did very well. It was a lot of fun. Charge, burn face, dead enemies. Rinse and repeat.

I do like the Lancer when I've gotten a hold of it and probably should switch to that for this Insanity playthrough I'm doing.

It's never felt anything but a gimmick for me. A shotgun with Incendiary Ammo- mostly I just charged and punched things in the face. I could never bring myself to justify burning through the heavy weapon ammo when there was a mission where I would need one of the other heavy weapons.
Frell, I hate Cerberus. For an organization that spent countless credits to bring Shepard back, their paychecks bit, I had to mine resources to upgrade everything and to top it all off, they were too stingy to have a replenishing heavy ammo stock aboard.
And too cheap to put a medi-gel dispenser in Med-Bay. What was Dr. Chakwas supposed to do? Oh, yeah. Get drunk.
If you do Arrival after the suicide mission with Dr. Chakwas dead, it will be Joker talking with Hackett in the medbay.

Cool. This is something I would have never found out on my own. Thanks.

That's what happened in my latest game. Bad, evil, naughty, wicked shep sent Chakwas back to the Normandy all by herself and she didn't make it.

That's one thing I've never done, have Dr.Chakwas go back to the Normandy by herself. She's with the other crewmembers when I send them back without an escort.

In my game there was no one left to go back with her, heh. Bad, evil, naughty, wicked shep also waited far too long after recruiting Legion to go through the Omega 4 relay.
