If you want to have every Citadel DLC meet up available without jumping through hoops, then it's best to leave the DLC undone until you only have Cronos and Earth left. Meet ups then unlock by leaving Anderson's apartment and then coming back, rather than having to do missions to unlock more.

So it's pretty much:

1. Get mail from former/current squadmates about meeting up in the apartment or in Silversun Strip

2. Have the meet ups which take place in the apartment first, then leave to do the meet ups in the strip

3. Come back to apartment after meet ups in strip, and you'll have new mail with more meet ups available

4. Repeat from step 2

Saving the whole DLC until right before Cronos Station is how I usually play it; this time I wanted to do something a little different. Gotta say I kinda like it.

Yep. That's what I do as well. But I like cap and gown's idea of doing the gameplay portion right after the coup to get the suppressor, mods and upgrades, then do the meetups and party after Horizon

I can't remember if I ever spotted a vorcha with a shotgun before, but here he finally is:

It's only temporary before switching to the flamer. (Black colour is from texmod).

Maybe it's just my habit of ignoring most cannon fodder :D

One of my favorite races. Shame they live only for about 20 years :(

Since I wanted to play Leviathan before finishing Rannoch, and you have to return to Bryson's Lab a couple times anyway, I decided to start on the meet-ups too. It's not so bad. Now it looks like when I get done with Horizon, I'll just have Miranda's meet-ups and the Party to do.

All the lines I could get out of the squadmates while being shot at by Archangel; when you hang around the freelancer's barricade.

Just to update: Tali and Ash's citadel DLC meet-ups didn't become available until after priority: Thessia. I dunno if it's because that was the only mission I had up next after Priority: Rannoch or not, though.

Anyway, got N7: Communication Hub to do, then back to the Citadel for the meet-ups before going on to Horizon.

I have been using the Citadel epilogue mod. It puts the citadel dlc at the end of the game.

On Alchera the Normandy crash site, in the sleeper pod section, one of the  pods still has a flicker of power running through it.

Generally, I like spacing out the meet ups. For my most recent NG+ where I didn't have to worry about Citadel mods/weapons/armor (since I already had them) I did the mission portion of Citadel right after the Rannoch arc since that seemed a logical time to have the Normandy go through a refit. Currently, that Shepard is running around doing things like Cerberus Scientists, Monastery, and the 1st Leviathan mission before heading back to the Citadel to meet the Asari Councilor. I'll do some more meet ups at that time before heading out to Thessia and then finishing off Leviathan and doing Sanctuary. After Sanctuary we will get the last of the meet ups done as well as the party.

Always space it out. I frequently go to the Citadel anyway to buy stuff, turn in quest and whatever, might as well do the hook meetups

OK, some questions from someone who hasn't played Citadel DLC yet.

I understand that there will be meetups with crew members after finishing Citadel DLC main storyline? And each appears after doing a mission in the world, somewhat similar to ME2 mission triggers (after all quests are done they just appear automatically upon revisiting the appartment)?

And there is also an ability to call a party at any time after finishing DLC main quest? Which you can do before or after meeting a particular squadmate?

Remeber Jentha?
The Blue-Suns lady during Archangel's recruitment mission?

I think I spotted her at the party Donovan Hock was hosting in Kasumi's loyalty mission. I've not tested if she will be absent on the party after the Archangel mission.

I suspect that is simply a reused model. You can also spot a Gianna Parasinni look-alike at the party.

This is the first time I played Cronos and paid attention to Shepard's remark - It sounds like the Cerberus ships are more advanced than Alliance vessels. They are fewer, but they are more advanced. Go Super Mac!!!

Cerberus had the best weapons, the best ships, the best military. Hell, the Alliance should have joined up with The Illusive Man!

This again lends itself to this: "So Lonestar. Now I will show you why evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."

HAIL Hydra..................wait wrong fandom.  it could be worse.           Don't forget leather seats. that is one of the reasons I would love to join Cerberus.

The wonkiness of Cerberus within the ME3 is pretty large.

And let's not mention Conrad Verners' 'twin' brother posing as an Eclipse merc.

Yes, you have meet-ups with all your ME3 squadmates, and many from ME2, and some have a couple meet-ups. You can call the party whenever, but my personal preference is to do all the meet-ups first.

So, I had always assumed that Joker's 20th century movie references (Hunt For Red October; 2001 Space Odyssey; The Matrix) was just the developers way of sending winking nods to the audience.  Then I realized something: Joker probably spent most of his younger years prior to flight school home bound.  He couldn't really go out with out kids and play.  So he probably watched old movies instead!   I've noticed a theme too: Ships/subs and exploration.  With a nice healthy dose of "damn the man" to go with it.  Sounds like him.

I've known folks that were home bound or otherwise unable to go out that fell in love with things like old Doris Day and Shirley Temple movies.   In about 170 or so years from now, those "old movies" could be things like Hunt For Red October or The Matrix.  It makes sense to me now, and I can see it as more than just the devs leaning on the fourth wall.   :wizard:

You can interrupt Eve on Priority: Tuchanka by examining paintings in the temple. Shepard then apologizes and Eve patiently explains it again :D

Had that happen as well. In one playthrough, I had femshep apologize twice because I moved too fast forward and again when I activated the first painting.
