I was reviewing my vid of the Citadel mission and noticed something. In the fish market area there are about 6 Cat6 mercs looking for Shepard. After you kill the last one, Liara (or your LI) will contact you over the radio. Except, the last one doesn't actually have to be dead. Instead, I hit the last merc with Dominate and Liara's dialogue started as if all the bad guys were gone, because technically they were.

Just before the cutscene shows Joker getting out his chair to salute Shepard, 3 shuttles can be seen following the Normandy to Earth
When watching the video on Eden Prime, 2 destroyers can be seen flying in the background

In ME2, in the beggining of Kasumi's Loyalty mission, the Eclipse Merc Scan Saren's statue and then Donovan Hock goes out to see what the fuss is about, yes?
So, if you play as Allison Gunn (FemShep) Donovan Hock says: "You can pass. You were invited after all."
And if you play as a Mr.Gunn (MaleShep), he says: You can pass, Mr.Gunn. With my apologies."

This may apply only to a non-import game, but I just went down to talk to Liara for the first time after getting back onto the Normandy after meeting the Council and Shepard asks if the Protheans actually built the "Crucible." This is odd because Hackett hasn't told us the device is code named the Crucible yet.

Non-imported game has a lot of inconsistent lines. I'm playing that way now and experience it firsthand ![]()

It's been so long since I played a game that didn't have Kasumi that this counts, I suppose, as a re-discovery: if you have never met Kasumi (non-import game and/or didn't recruit her) then it turns out Jondum Bau got the data on the Alliance raid by paying off Donovan Hock. Apparently Hock found some way to crack the encryption on Keiji's greybox in this alternate universe.

Yet another discovery from a non-import game: the indoctrinated Hanar does not talk about how the Collectors are Protheans and serve the Reapers. Instead, he calls the Protheans "false gods."
Okay, some things about a non-import game sound kinda cool, heh.

OK, this is silly. In a non-import game Shepard's dialogue does not include any indication that she is acquainted with General Oraka. She just says "General Oraka?" That's seems perfectly fine EXCEPT in an import game where Shepard never met Oraka and never did Sha'ira's quest Shepard does reminisce about meeting him Chora's Den. How strange.

Had that happen to me as well.

Actually, I would say the entire indoctrinated Hanar quest is better without Kasumi. You can't save both Bau and the Hanar homeworld, but most of the dialogue you get is better, IMO.

Maybe it's just because it's different, I dunno. Personally I couldn't see playing the game without Kasumi anymore, but then I've always wished she was a more substantial character.

In Dr. Bryson's lab, Shepard's dialogue differs in a non-import game when you click on the piece of Sovereign. Instead of saying "Sovereign, vanguard of our Destruction. How'd that turn out for you big guy," she says "Sovereign. Hope they've got that thing shielded."

And there it is; having the best line of the DLC replaced is the best argument against a non-import game.

Actually, I would say that it is an indication that they either wasted or misdirected resources differentiating import and non-import games.

Maybe, I dunno. Having the VA record a few extra lines while they're sitting there in the studio probably doesn't take very long, and it's probably something every developer does while the VA's schedule matches up with their studio time. It's why some of them voice many different characters. Hell, during Zaeed's LM, Jennifer Hale does one line for the first wave of Blue Suns reinforcements outside the factory.
Also, changing the odd flag in the game's code probably doesn't take too much effort, even though it can go horribly wrong. Example: STEEEEEEEVE and "I'm sorry if I ever accused you of pointing a gun at me when you never did that."

You can't waste or misdirect resources for the best place to start the trilogy, can you now...

Oh... Playing as a FemShep on Kasumi's loyalty, will make Donovan Hock say: "Bring the other girl to me"
I know it's quite obvious, but it's so cool ![]()

I enjoy Kasumi's loyalty mission. It has a great opening with the party and more than one way to get things done. And it's a nice and natural way to roleplay your Shepard outside the military life. They could have added some cooler clothes though!
Also, shooting the vase never gets old. And the combat was very well done.

In my current playthrough, I heard Kasumi and Zaeed's voice in the 2nd dream. First time I heard them and in the third dream, I heard Dr.Chakwas voice.
On Chronos I saw Ashley beat the crap out of a Phantom. Awesome. Playing on insanity

Did Zaeed say his line about being big goddam heroes? I had that in my last game, but the end of the line got kinda jumbled. In my current playthrough, I heard Kasumi and Zaeed's voice in the 2nd dream. First time I heard them and in the third dream, I heard Dr.Chakwas voice.

Not recently discovered but recently remembered....in ME2, if you do Lair of the Shadow Broker before doing Tali's loyalty mission, the dossier for Tali on the broker terminal still refers to her as "Tali'zorah vas Normandy."
