It's actually quite viable
Also, when you hack a mech yourself, it gets a shield. Does anyone remember, do mechs in Overlord DLC have armor?
All Loki mechs have armor if you are playing on hardcore or insanity. Its no different in Overlord.

I just remembered how you can shoot a mech with a Renegade interrupt there and thought they were weaker. My ME2 memory needs to be refreshed. Soon... ![]()

This is what I referred to
Yeah, but that is because of the cut-scene fallacy of the entire series: one shot will kill an enemy in a cut-scene even though it would not even come close during actual game play.

True, I just didn't have much problems on that mission, maybe that's why I thought they were weak
I also noticed that James is a little smarter than a Loki mech, at least he doesn't shoot the console when told to disable the AA guns on Rannoch
Found this while lurking in the Wikia:
"According to the Saturday Mass Effect: Exploring the Universe panel at PAX East 2013, Fist's corpse is a charred skeleton found in Priority: The Citadel II, if the player chose to spare Fist in the first game."
Elanos Haliat was originally intended to be a Turian, but was given a Human Model in Mass Effect 1... If you hear closely, you can see that his sound processing looks like Turian and when he talks about humanity, he says "Shepard's Kind"
*Also, he says that he assembled the fleet that launched the Skyllian Blitz three years previously, when in fact the Blitz occurred seven years prior to the game.
* His name is a mix of Elanus Risk Control and Haliat Armory.
*And when outside the mine, you can clearly see that he doesn't wear any helmet at all... Bit strange, since the atmosphere is composed of Carbon Dyoxide and Crypton, not to mention the planet's surface temperature.
Doing Cronos Station for the first time as a Sole Survivor:
Hackett: "Incursion team, are you still with us? We're limiting fire as best we can."
Shepard: "Admiral, we're in deep and the prothean VI will be in the safest part of the station. Don't hold back."
Hackett: "This isn't Akuze, Shepard. I want everyone to come out of this one alive."
Shepard: *inhale* "I'll be fine. Just take Cerberus down. Please."
Hackett: "Understood, Commander. All ships: you're free to fire."

If Shepard is a War Hero:
"This isn't Elysium, Shepard. I don't need a hero right now."
...or something similar.
Liara blames Sovereign for corrupting her mother even before you get that encounter on Virmire.
Normally I am not one to nitpick, but that oversight is basically a spoiler. Oops! ![]()
I've just discovered the scene where you comfort Liara post thessia is shorter when you don't romance her. Huh.
Rather annoying, becasue it means I don't get a high res version of this shot, unless I go edit the save and redo it..

No Hi-res snot ![]()
Actually, scrub that - I just checked, there is no difference at all. How disapointing.
Not sure where that camera angle comes from though. It doesn't occur in either the romanced or non-romanced version I tested, and i can't recreate it in freecam.
I wonder how I got it.
Just noticed that right in the start of Tali's Loyalty Mission, in the Normandy Bridge, Joker is wearing Alliance's Clothes, instead of Cerberus'

Huh, never noticed that, nice find!
"I could get used to killing with women around. Gives the fight a different flavour."
Near seven years old and I've never heard that line between Wrex and Ashley.
Mass Effect. The game that keeps on giving.
I was aware of the fact that in ME1 you can equip your weapons and shoot up the place pretty much anywhere, even the Citadel, but I only just noticed that you can actually destroy the pink glass liquor bottles around Chora's Den (I am not aware of any other part of the environment that is similarly destructible, other than of course explosive containers and such).
As a result, you can do this...
Shepard: "I'm outta here."
Harkin: "Yeah, good. Go. Let me drink in peace..."
Shepard: *destroys Harkin's drink with shotgun*

I got that line in my last play of ME1. Wrex and Ash in an elevator, passing the time. ![]()
It honestly amazes me that after so much time and so many runs through the game, I can still hear something that I've never heard before.

Same here. Part of why I still play these games, I guess.
Just finished playing the Omega DLC. After talking to Nyreen at the Talon base you have to go and help deal with an attack. There's some 'mechs' and 'mooks' plus an Atlas to deal with. There'a heavy gun emplacement on the left.
After all the times I've played it I only just noticed that you can actually use the thing.

Well not a long a time ago I, for the first time took Ashley and Wrex to Fist in ME1.
Ashley wants to shoot Wrex for killing Fist.
As I made my way back to the Normandy, I picked up a conversation between a Human Private and a Human Sergeant.
So apparently the Human Private's brother recently got into this organization with lots of opportunities and even showed her his new armour: white and yellow. But this was just the first part.
They look like they're wearing the same armour as the Asari Snipers (one with green lights, the other with purple). Does anyone have the full conversation?
Are you referring to ME3? It sounds like the conversation about her brother joining Cerberus. If you keep coming back and listen to all of it then it unlocks a Spectre Terminal 'quest' where you can allow or deny her permission to transfer over to another team. You can also find a data pad I believe on the Noveria mission written by her brother that show's he's already been 'improved' by Cerberus.
I don't, however, have a video of this.

It actually is on Sanctun. Here are the Datapads entries:
Pre-"Integration" entry:
Personal Log: C. Talavi
Finally here. Wow, the troops here are really intense. No one smiles. Ever. And suicide on capture orders? Seriously? They call training "integration." I start being "integrated" tomorrow. Can't wait.
Post-"Integration" entry:
Personal Log: C. Talavi
Integration successful. Suicide on capture orders confirmed. Cerberus is my friend. Obey. Protect humanity. At any cost.
I thought I would throw this in here since many people have probably not heard this dialogue. (and let me tell you, getting the squad set up needed to hear this dialogue was a chore. It didn't work with either Liara or James on the squad. I finally got it when I picked Javik as the second squad mate.)

Doesn't he also have a line about that after you see Samara float down to the floor?
Shepard asks him "can you do that?" or something along those lines.
