i have played both dragon age origin and dragon age 2 and i am pretty bored of just the three classes. i love them but truth be told they are very boring after a few playthroughs and before you know it you have lost interest in the game.

if there were a few new combat classesthen it would be nice. if that doesnt work maybe re visting the current classes and re-tweaking them might be awesome.

thats just my opinion, thoughts?

I think they'll probably get tweaked... keeping some of the old, adding something new...

I wouldn't mind seeing hybrid classes.

see i know they will tweak but it wont be a major tweak, they might just increase the duration of some moves and  hange the buff. im talking about MAJOR tweaking like changing the style of something eg two handed abilties.

still i would prefer more classes over tweaking.

Well keep your chin up son, you might be pleasantly surprised once the game is out.

Forbidden, sacred knowledge is that the Universe is a dream

It is the mind shattering realism that you are a figment of a dream, but without panicking about lack of real identity, and then disappearing from The Dream, (existence). Through LOVE of existence, and you being a part in it, you get the balls/ovaries to say, I AM, and retain your identity while knowing the futility of it all.

Through this you become an independent entity, from the dream, the universe, and can do stuff in it without any limitations. You become a Ruling King.

The knowledge is that, I are Everything is All is Us

(the universe viewed sideways forms an I)  (0 = I)

You become a Maker. Because CHIM is LOVE

The rogue class needs a technomancer. With the introduction if mechanics and weapons designing we are seeing such models like bianca. A technomancer could utilize his knowledge to change the flow of the battlefield.

Although If this happened most of the criticism would be about dragon age changing it's genre

Gave me a good laugh, thanks for that.

I do wonder where the philosophy's coming from, though. Atman(sp?) is Brahmin? Or something else?

Id like a fencer type class for Rogue's, they would specialize in one-handed swords using balance and speed and target gaps in armor for more damage like a rogue but able to go toe to toe with some warriors instead of having to flank and hide.

exactly, this could totally be a new class. it would make the game much more enjoyable.

I repeat: there's plenty of room for a 4th class in this game, once you stop shoehorning what are distinct classes in other games into being specs for one of the three existing classes.  :)

And there is a nice symmetry to it. 4 party members - 4 playable races - should be 4 playable classes (though perhaps the specialization reworking will make the specs even more unique/distinct this time in DAI).

Ranger-Archer, Bard/Minstrel, and 'Martial Artist' I think all work as a 4th option.

i think there is room for a lot more classes, it would give the game a more intresting feeling. we all know what mages, warriors, and rogues are capable of so in fact you are already expecting a certain type of gameplay, you already have your rotation planned out. thats all good and fine but it would be nice if we had a few new classes to explore and spend hours getting the perfect rotation.

Ah well.. it's something constantly asked, but never fulfilled. As far as i've read in previews, it,s -again - the same standard classes with some specialisations - some new some old.

Geez... i so wished they would start putting effort into the class-system and add something fresh ans new. Hell, i could event hink of three and more  right from the start, i would like to play.

A mage-class with no offense-spells that has to rely on summoning minions, which he can buff er even use as walking bombs.

A warrior-mage-class that can only enchant his own equipment(but not wear armors) and give himself special treats and buffs... like blur hiimself to make him harder to hit or making a cutting weapon do blunt damage to adapt to enemy resistances.

A distance-tank-class like a warrior using shields and throwing spears.

A cleric that can either fight or use auras to create field-buffs (like health or stamina-regeneration or damage resistance) which makes him immovable.

There are so many possibilities with potential that would add to the tactical combat. High variety in classes is one of the things which makes AD&D so great... not just some specialisations with a handful of skills but no heart inside.

...but like i said, it's very unlikely.
