Ok if there is a topic that talks about her "specifically" already posted, please provide link.

I think that it would be a great idea if Sigrun made a return (if she survived in awakening). I would like her to be a companion but I am not holding my breath. I would like her to play a major role in the inquisition however. Maybe help out in the deep roads or when we bump into the wardens idk something. Maybe she could have rallied a lot of the legion and created an army to help! We need more dwarves period IMO!

Yes, yes, yes!

Sigrun is the only Dwarf I've ever really liked, and she's definitely in my top 5 DA characters of all time. I'd love to stumble into her, maybe at Kal'Hirol.

I love Sigrun too, but there is a few of issues with her return:

1) If the player left her at the Keep, she's dead.

2) Kind person or not, Sigrun was a Death Seeker.*  Even in the sessions where she lived, the Warden-Commander had to keep her busy so Sigrun would run off to the Deep Roads to die.  The Warden disappeared, so those distractions are gone.

3) She could have very well had her Calling already.  The "30 year" rule is something David jossed awhile back, stating that some Wardens live longer than others, but the max a Warden can live post Calling is 30 years.  According to him, some even go on their Calling after 10-15 years.

And it's been ~13 or so years since Awakening.  Doesn't look good for her.   :(

*Edit: She's even got her own entry on the page:

  • Sigrun is a lot more cheerful about it than Zevran or Sten, but still makes it quite clear that as a member of the aforementioned Legion of the Dead she owes a Heroic Sacrifice and that she'll be leaving for her Calling as soon as the current crisis is over. If she survives to the ending her epilogue either has her follow through on that, or mentions that either the Warden becomes really good at finding new crises to persuade her to stick around just a little longer or she tries to leave but always ends up coming back to the Warden since she's one of his/her True Companions.

DAA had great characters in general.. If we do see her, I hope it's more than the DA2 type of cameos. I could do with more Nathaniel too. But especially Velanna.

Eh, I won't derail about them though. Sigrun is great.

She could have stayed to help renovate Kal'Hirol, having a change of heart about facing death in order to help build for her people :(

true true and true but thats why I said I am not holding my breath on her being a companion, and ok since she can die in awakening maybe a role period big or small idk I just want her to come back in some way if she is still alive!

And why she should return is is absolutely necessary for dragon age and she is major character in da setting because i don't see her as one so why tiny little warden among milions of peoples among thousands of km should return to be meet by our protagonist?

I don't think anyone said it was absolutely necessary.

A better question is: Why do you post in a "Can we have Sigrun show up" thread when you don't want her to?

Well Nathaniel Howe returned in DA2 if you spared him for a minor role so I don't understand TKS? if the writers wanted it they certainly could really

It's the Komandor 'nuff said.

But yeah Sigrun was an interesting character, I just at the very least want some closure on her fate. Please BioWare give me that at least, I'll give you cookies.

Yes and dragon age 2 was one big cameo mess where every old character "oh world is so small i meet previous portagonist in another country and now i meet another protagonist (1 person in the world) in another country" repeat 30 times it only makes like da world have 10 km and 200 peoples in it if they do such crap...

But instead of posting in single posts in various threads, why not create a "Why I don't think we should have cameos" thread so you can better express your position?

Threats? I've never seen a threat with bringing characters back. :P

Because otherwise your post will be buried and forgotten while with your own thread you can keep adding to it, making it last longer and more likely for your opinion to be seen. Same reason people keep making "We want X" threads.

But it wasn't hurting anyone this is what I don't understand! it's not like you HAD to talk to someone like him or take on the quest for Zevran and it made fans of them happy which I don't see a down side to? if that's fan service then it's been done right....not seeing an issue...

He wants the games to be exactly as he wants them. One thing out of place and he thinks its terrible.

Yeah I guess so  *pats a furry wall*

And Demon it would be nice, I admit I wouldn't be upset in the least if she popped up, because depending what play-through you used it's totally possible :D

Seriously. Get a better translation software or just try harder. Every other word is incorrectly typed and makes it a hassle to respond.

TKS just seems to hold some irrational idea that fan service is a bad thing. I don't think he actually knows what fan service is though.
