Also arguing about him being a Companion or not feels a bit silly at this point, His VA said he was both a LI and a Companion, we know he's a LI and it stands to reason the VA couldn't get away with outright lying.

Ellis was asked about Cullen offering companionship, not being a companion.

The even distribution thing stuck out to me. That makes me think Cullen might be an NPC romance.

Exactly. The Warden is a warrior and has already been in gameplay footage, and Iron Bull is also a warrior as he's only been seen carrying a broadsword and no daggers or bows. There's no room for Cullen as a companion.

Okay yeah admittedly the moment I saw that I started to wonder, though maybe the Grey Warden is a Rogue.

What exactly did they say about the Warden and Hawke returning/appearing?  Did they say they might appear or more that they know they need to wrap up those stories?

Ps: I didn't include Sera because we don't know where is she from (Also, we don't have a confirmation from devs), but if I have to guess, I'll say she will have something related with the old battle at the Exalted Plains.

I took that to mean that if you make a Qunari Mage, they will not have a history of ever being Saarebas.

Anyway, I'm a little confused about the part where you mentioned the way DAI is handling romances. You said about Varric's being humorous and being a buddy, was that just an example used based on the way the DA2 relationships worked? Or were they hinting that Varric might be romanceable?

can you clarify on "Romances in Inquisition are not one in the same: some for affection, humor (like Varric buddying with you), or hate-fueled forbidden love (i.e rivalry love)." do you mean that the relationships are dynamic and that your actions could change the romance? or do you mean that certain characters have a set type, for example Cassandra will ALWAYS be a "rivalry" romance and cullen would always be affectionate or whatever?

Two different magazines said he was a companion and his writer referred to him as a companion iirc. Also he was listed as a companion in the survey and he's still in the game and playing a prominent role.

And the Q&A listed him as a two hander so yeah. Unless they've altered the Grey Warden (or he's not a companion, which is unlikely considering what we've seen) Then cullen is likely not a Companion

No. That's dumb. That's like saying every employee at a company beyond the first in redundant. Cullen is redundant because he offers nothing, from a plot perspective, that Cassandra doesn't. Also he's boring as hell.

i am not a Cullen fan, but I disagree.  Cullen has seen both sides of the argument in the Mage/Templar war.  He has a unique view of it and can potentially bring something Unique.

Level 10? I'd say it could be very well be lower. Cassandra and Varric will definitely start at low level.

Inquisition isn't about the Mage/Templar conflict.

I really like Leliana's song but I have a really soft spot for badass choir , so I've got my finger crossed.

 

Otherwise I didn't feel like there's lots of new info going on , I mean Cassandra/Cullen romance is cool but I wasn't interested in that so...

I like the sound of buddy romance , rivalmance just ain't my thing.

I'm curious about the Human Mage origins , and Skyhold...

Also curious about exploration and what we are going to find (beyond new places and monsters who wants to eat our pc faces...) I thought the cave wall writing in the demo was cool .I hope there's more stuff like that.I want to hoard some stuff...such as books ...

It's just seems funnier than having a codex entry pop up...
