Hi, I'm TheTechnoTurian. I am a PC Master Race, but recently I started playing a bit on PS3 despite the fact that I'm awful with a controller. Unfortunately, I'm terrible. I need people to carry me through golds so I can unlock more aliens and guns.

@isternn, yeah, I was pretty doubtful that we were actually going to extract and was on the verge of just powering down the PS3, actually. Then it unfroze. Miracles do happen.

 

@Pearl sent a request. As I play I keep on wondering just what the hell is going on with my PC and why the FPS is tanking so badly... then I remember I'm not playing my PC, derp.

Soooo... I hope TechnoTurian won't be angry with me, but I just have to ask this.

 

You see, I'm also a PS3 player and proud of it. But, until I started playing ME3 multiplayer, I only used the console for single player games and was happy with it. Seeing I didn't have any friends online, that wasn't even a problem.

 

Now, I've met somebody online and we would like to tackle few matches together. But the problem is... I have no idea how to find her. I log into the game and I know she's online, but I can't find her for the life of me.

 

So, if anybody wants to help me out, that would be most appreciated. I'll gladly add some of you guys to my friend list and play some games with you as well(though I must warn everybody that I mostly play Silver, but would love to try more Gold), but I really want to try playing with this gal first.

 

So yeah... thanks for any help in advance.

Did you play with this person in me3mp? If so check your players met

@Mordokai, do you mean how to get her to join your ME3 match in-game? Because it sounds like she's on your friends list already right? If not, what Lance Cucumber said. You can select her from players met and send a friend request, or even if she's not in that list you can just go to "add friend" option and put her name in

 

But if you do have her added to your list but can't find in in-game, from the main MP menu >  choose create match > set it to private when it gives you the map/faction/difficulty options > move the cursor to one of the empty slots in the lobby and press square (II think that's the right button... I dunno I'm new)   > select her from your friends list > once she appears in lobby, set match to public to get some randoms, or keep private and invite others

Well, I didn't mind so much getting 1 frame of dragoon per second I guess.

As long as you're in the lobby screen, you can press Square at any time to invite someone, even if your "cursor" is hovering over one of the options on the side (Appearance, Equipment, Store, etc). The trade off is you have to go into the game settings screen to access the options menu in-lobby, even if you're not the host/leader.

But how I do I react if I receive an invitation and I'm in the middle of the game? I imagine I have to finish the current game, one way or another, but what about after that happens?

 

As you may have guessed, I'm really bad at this.

Reply with wv number and see what they say. I'll be on in about 90 minutes if anyone wants to run some gold or silver. Prefer gold but if still new I don't mind silver. Gives the chance to lvl some characters
