Of someone joining a game in progress do you:
head to the lz to keep the heat off;
let them fend for themselves;
or kite the enemy to them so they can jump right into the action?

Personally, I tend to kill off any enemy that starts heading to the lz, but I could see the fun on kiting the enemy there.

That doesn't make you a horrible goat, it just makes you human.

 

On topic, that depends, if I just happen to be around the landing zone I'll probably try to kill a few enemies for them so they don't load into the match kissing the floor, otherwise, I will just be doing what I was doing originally.

If I am near the LZ I will try to keep it clear for them, but if not, I usually just hope they load in quickly so that the lag goes away.

If I am hosting then I feel obliged to go and cover them.

 

That may have something to do with the fact that it is my fault that they are sitting there like a goose in that awkward and vunerable positon .

 

If I am not hosting then it really depends on what is happenning at the time   and how far away I am.

Whenever someone spawns in, I try to join them and make sure they're okay. The worst thing that can happen to you, is gettin insta-killed by a Banshee right after spawning in. If I had a nickle for everytime that happened to me when I spawned in, I would have a Maxed Manifest.

I start moving towards the LZ, and they get dropped before I get there.

Well yeah if I'm close I will try to help out, but most of the time I'm too far away and I'm far too lazy to sprint back.

I think pretty much unless it is an objective wave I try to close in on the LZ to try and clear some enemies out. Having been thinking about it more I am definitely gonna try to kite the enemies to the LZ if I know a buddy is joining.

I will usually try to make my way there if I see the person get downed, but it also depends on which wave it is, how far away I am, and what I'm engaged with at the moment.   I will try my best to get there though, since I won't expect them to gel up after waking up dead.

I only do that if a friend is joining. But if Cirvante is ninja'ing again it's up to himself to fend off the Banshees and what not.

That lag spike usually triggers an immediate dodge from me if available. A second of lag in the middle a pack of mooks is usually enough to trigger one of the gates. If I get loose I'll try to get to them, unless they got wasted by a turret. Turrets get theirs first.

On the other side when jip and i see half the team drop,. Pretty sure my lag straight shivved them, so I hustle to them before they get curbed.

If I'm not too busy, I'll kite stuff up there. If I get to load into a game and get sync killed, they can too!

I'm not helping but I don't mind when they don't gel then. The wave is almost done, if you're dead it's not your fault to have been thrown in GIP and landed in banshees arms right away, spectate a bit, it'll be over soon.
