This. I couldn't agree more with this statement. If we can shoot people in the head, taunt people by putting a gun to someones head as well and watch someone getting the crap beaten out of them in a prison and more then we might as well have nudity in it. This game is M rated for a reason. I loved in the first one you got the sense of the being nude but you never actually see anything, it made it very romantic and very mature. Showing a frontal view of Miranda with a Victoria Secret bra, to me is more perverted and childish then seeing two figures nude and having excellent use of camera angels to further suggest such an intimate scene. From what I've seen so far and what I saw in Dragon Age, it again just seems more childish and immature and more pointed towards porn then anything else. Also if I romance Subject Zero and see her in a bra and under pants I'm going to nerd rage.

This, I have to agree with. Again, my stand is only from a "censorship" PoV. Its not the fact that Im frustrated that BioWare "peanut galleried" it...Its the reason that they did it to avoid all the bleeding hearts that are about shielding the ankel biters. Hence censorship.

Because violence can not be imagined. The game is about war, you can't hide violence from it. In this context a naked woman doesn't add anything at all to the purpose of storytelling - that's beside my personal tastes.This. I couldn't agree more with this statement. Censorship happens when you're removing something essential to the story. Here in Italy they censored the scene in Brokeback Mountain where the two dudes kissed. THAT's censorship. It's removing something essential. In ME2 sex was not essential, and actually the love scene focused more on the true purpose of it, which is the exnchange of feelings between characters. Sex is implicit. It doesn't mean it's not there. This, I have to agree with. Again, my stand is only from a

I laugh when I hear M Rated games for 18+ and censorship. If and when I have children I won't even let them touch M Rated games but if they ever did I would rather he or she play this game to see someone naked then for shooting. What would you want your kids to be more interested in if they played this game, shooting people in the face or sex? Having sex at a young age > High School Shooting.

I agree with Aradace here with the censorship issue, I live in America and have lived in Europe too, Its a completely different feeling when it comes to censorship in media. America is so anal-rentative about everything and everyone is so sue happy, you can't even wish someone a marry christmas or any other holiday greeting you would like to say without someone getting bend out of shape because of it. My issue with the ME2 scenes is that they have lost that special touch of emotion that they had in the first game.Aradace wrote...

The game is about Shepard, his crew and their adventures and not only about war but even in times of war people feel love or lust. Like I said, just don`t look. The great thing about BioWare RPGs ist, that we can choose if we want to be friends with someone, if we want to hate each other or to love and in a relationship there is sex. If you don`t want sex, you just shouldn`t choose to have a relationship or skip this moment. It`s absolutly okay if someone don`t want to see something like this but to say "I want that NOBODY can see this" is wrong. It`s okay if someone don`t like something but in your case it sounds like you wish that BioWare cut something out you don`t like and this is really, really immature because you rise your taste about others. If I got it wrong, correct me.

Not sure if you're laughing at me or what but....If you are I dont know why honestly. But that's kinda my point...Companies slap an M rating on a game and then have to go and actually "Censor" some of the crap basically just to appease those that are "offended" by sex. It's nuts I tell ya.

aww come on my compatriota you are are taking it from the wrong point of view
Censorship is censorship whether it removes something essential or something not essential simply because it is assumed that the public would not understand it fully.
Need I remind you of the oh so many Anime/Manga that were censored in this way in our land?
Sailor Moon? Ken il Guerriero (AKA Hokuto no Ken), City Hunter (they called Ryo "hunter"....WTH!?!?!?!), hell do you remember what they did to E' Quasi Magia Johnny??? they started cutting out scenes in which you would see a japanese ideogram on the screen (rather than putting a subtitle translation) because "the public would not understand" so a 30 minutes episoded turned out to be like 20.
you could argue tho that this is not censorship UNLESS bioware wanted to put a full sex scene in it but someone at EA said "no"...which is not the case from what I understand

The thing is, the views on sex and violence really depends on which area of the world you're from. Over here in North America, violence is perfectly acceptable but you get in trouble for showing nudity. This is in contrast to places such as England where it's the exact opposite: Nudity is perfectly acceptable, but you get in trouble for showing violence.
